Irene got another arrow and hit it at Delilah, who lost her concentration on te fire. Irene got out and puled vines all over her sister. "Delilah, I know you've always been jealous of me but don't you think this is a bit extreme?!" Delilah got enfuriated and broke from the vines. Irene fended herself with sand and rocks. One batch of fire was so hot it made her sand into glass. Irene did something with her hands, and then animals from the forest started to fight alongside her. Wolves, bears, big cats, and eventually Irene managed to knock her sister out. "Take her to the amazonian village." She told one wolf, who left with Delilah on his back.

Typhoon's head snapped around. A huge, midnight-blue dragon was hurtling towards her at a terrifying speed. " Midnight!" she managed to choke out, before the huge beast roared and a jet of flame melted her armor and licked at her scales. Typhoon cast a frantic look at Midnight. He roared again, an evil grin spreading over his face. The jet of flame envolped Typhoon's head but didn't burn, and she would have screamed. Then her wings stopped, just stopped. The black dragon's head went limp as she fell into the forest below, unconscious. Above, Midnight wheeled and cursed. "Drat. I can't see where she fell...Guess I'll have to come back for the rouge later." he growled, and flew off into the night, disappearing quickly.

Irene saw something big fall from the sky, and she summoned the trees to break it's fall. She ran to it, and noticed who it was. "Typhoon! Ae you alright?"

Typhoon raised her head and snorted, puffs of black soot falling off. "Yeah, I'm fine," she snorted crossly, although she was ashamed she had been found like this. Maybe, she added silently to herself. The dragon looked to the sky, an expression of worry crossing her face. Midnight was gone. She breathed a silent sigh of relief and stretched her ash-covered wings.

((o.O)) Typhoon shook her wings, scattering more little ash puffs. She then crouched low to the ground. "Oh, nothing much, only that the Dragon Father has sent dragons to attack me because he wants my head served to him on a silver platter," she muttered, the tip of her tail twitching.

Irene looked a bit confused. "Dragon father? Are you all like a family?" Irene was curious. She was very in tune with the creatures of the forest, but other than the water dragons that were really the water element anyway she never talked to a dragon.

Typhoon stared at her in suprise for a moment, then remembered Irene had probably never heard of the way a dragon's family and Clan worked. "You're right, we are a family, because our Clan is our family," she said. "But the Dragon Father isn't actually the father. He's more like a leader. He's often the wisest and eldest male, and know's what's best. All the dragons know that his word is law. So you could say right now my old Clan was -is- ruled by a tyrant. All the younger dragons and the Council must do what he says, so if he says to bring back my head on a silver platter, any dragon he commands to do it can't come back unless he has it with him. And sometimes the dragons he sends out haven't been seen for years, so this attack may go on a while..."

Irene nodded. "We Amazonians have something like that. The head we call 'mother Raven.' Then we have our mothers and sisters. We have fathers and brothers too, but considering they're male they're unfortunately put up as slaves. They get treated terribly sometimes." Irene didn't mention that her thoughts on this was part of the reason why she was wanted dead. Irene sighed. "They won't stop looking for me either."

Typhoon listened intently commenting on the part about the slaves and a woman holding power once she was done. "Hmm. We don't have slaves, but servants occasionally. Rarely humans though...Mostly water sprites, newts, or creatures that can withstand extreme heat. As for female dragons, we often hold power in the Council and can influence the Dragon Father's decisions. " Typhoon yawned and arched her back, stretching her "paws" while she did. "Well, I'd better go back to my home...not only do I have to finish it up, but I'll probably have to hide there too....Probably won't see you in the next few days." She stood up, launched herself into the air, and hovered for a moment.

Irene waved. "Alright, bye!" She called out. Irene smiled. She knew she should do something. If she wasn't careful the enchanted forest would be all but lost. She decided to set up some protective alarms. Something that would alert her of creatures outside.

Typhoon nodded, then took off. She flew low to the ground, skimming the treetops unseen. Quickly she reached her lake and went to the tunnel. As she floated in the water just below the surface, she looked to make sure no one had entered her private home. When she was sure, Typhoon emerged onto the bank on the left. She flapped her wings to get excess water off, the hovered to the top bank, where her piece of quartz was. She laid down, but soon realized the ground was uncomfortable. She got up and dug out a shallow bed for herself, then settled into it with a tiny sigh, resting her chin on the edge and using her wings to cover her like a blanket. "I must find some luminescent mushrooms tomorrow to light this place tomorrow...Guess I can ask Irene."she murmured to herself before drifting into sleep.

Haruto flapped his wings and perched on a branch. THis wasn't so bad. Sure, not being able to turn into anything else ever again was kinda lame, but these hak eyes! It made him eel blind as a human, and the sense of smell was a bit better. and the hearing! He probly heard everything! Squirrels, birds, every tiny little foot and even the ants burrowing unde the ground. Then he heard somthing. The sound of a big mammal. He muttered out loud

*A dragon moved carefully through the forest, getting to know the local life. He reached a hawk who looked rather terrified perched on a branch and said...* "Hello. I'm Eclipse. Might I ask who you are?"

The Nothlit flinched. he didn't look too scared. but he was. kinda hard to have expressions on your face when you can't move it and it's fixed into a glare. Did he say Uh oh out loud? oops. Just great. He was turned into a Nothlit today, and now he's probly Dragon food. He could never outfly a dragon.
