*Djanni kneels by the key pad, running her fingers gently over the surface to dust it with sand. She squints at the surface, looking for evidence of finger prints on any of the other keys. She notes the position of the glowing key*
"It is possible, Perrian. And if they were here recently, they may be here still."
*She touches the handle of one of her daggers*
"So let us be on our guard; we have no way of knowing if they are friend or foe."

Perrian charged a fireball in his right hand, getting ready to attack if needed.
(Fargore, are you going to have a time you'll be able to stay online for a long time like that time I finished the tournament? Hopefully you'll be back on soon and be able to stay on a long time)

You don’t sense any other people around and there are no marks in the sand. The key pad is so close to the water line that its getting hit by waves as they come in. so it’s hard to tell if the key pad has been touched recently.
(I have to get a briefing tomorrow that is supposed to last all day. But I normally have Sunday off so I should be able to be on a lot then. And I got a router today so I and my roommate can be on at the same time. That will allow me to be on more as well.)

"Seems like it's safe Djanni, just lets keep walking, unless we possibly want to examine this key pad closer." Perrian said and squelched his fireball that he was charging in his hand.

As Veet traipses with Tobar along what seems to be a pre existing path when she comes to metal door similar the one they were at earlier. The main difference is there was a glowing light on the pad. The disgruntled Veet simply pushes the button without much of a second thought. It seemed the natural thing to do so she didn’t bother to get Tobar’s opinion first. Besides what else could they do? There options seemed pretty limited at this point. She removes her finger from the button and waits to see what happens. She stands in front of Tobar just to be safe, knowing of all the members of the group she could weather a hit the best.

"It would seem safe indeed. I do not think that further investigation of the keypad is necessary at the moment, though we should mark its location. We should finish our perimeter search and meet back up with the others."
