All of them gave me trouble.

I always wanted to fight Sapphire. You know, the one who attacked Junon and got it's head blown off. Now THAT would be a fight.

emerald was easy knights of the round with two mimes took away most of his life and when he killed me i got lucky and pheonix restored my charcters which i just used bahumut zero 3 times and i won. ruby weapon i hated cause right away he knocked out my guy with knights of the round (there go my chances of winning) and he did it everytime.

My sources say, and my sources are two men who have played the game several times and beat everything in it, that Emerald is easier to beat even though he has more life. But remember, Emerald does an attack that does 1111 damage per materia on each character. Therefore you can only have 8 materia per character equiped or he will do 9999 plus damage. And remember, you can mime Cloud's Omnislash and just keep attacking him with that.
Ruby is the really hard one. And you don't want to use Knights of the Round on him. He will retaliate with Ultima. And the trick is to go in wth two of your characters already dead. Ruby won't do the sand strom attack and take away any characters, at least not as soon. Revive your characters, and then you can fight with all three of them!
Oh! And if you like using the sources, each of the monsters in the sunken ship Gelnika will morph into one of them. . .

I got beat by all of them..... except that diamond thats in the storyline anyways....... sad FFVII is the only FF that i have never fully completed.

For me Emerald Weapon was pretty easy simply because combined with Omnislash, Knights of the Round, and only a few materia to ease the battle (Emerald Weapon does damage according to your materia amount for one attack) and he/she/it went down not too roughly. I would say Ruby Weapon was the hardest especially when you didn't know what you were getting into...

Emerald weapon, it just sucked. had to do the side quest and morph the stupid ghost ship, which threw me out of battle most of the time. The it had that one attack that always did 9999 to everyone, which meant maxing out 3 final attacks and revives. Least ultimate and diamond were meant to be defeated, and there were tricks to ruby. i went a whole battle that ruby was almost stunned most of the time.

Ruby hands down, Emerald wasn't too bad after I got a system going. But without KOTR Ruby was a lost cause. But after getting the master materia from the traveler I sought vengence!

i swear if i have to fight a weapon while on the clock one more *bleep*ing time, im going to track down the guy that got the idea(dont care how cool his other ideas probably have been) and beat him with oranges!!!

*drums fingers* Hmmm...its a tie between Ruby and Emerald though I only had issues with Emerald on my first play through when I had the time limit. I guess it'd be Ruby then.

Can a weapon get any cheaper tricks than Ruby!!!damm that fight annoyed me really bad...and i still never beat it sad

The toughest that I had was Ultimate merely because the others weren't hard. Ultimate, at least, you had to CHASE AROUND for a few minutes/hours.
