Heh..band and cheerleaders don't mix very well.
Our band got along ok with them last football season. We just don't like the fact that they seem to recognize everyone but us, when the team would lose if it weren't for our enthusiasm and ability to be so much louder and better than the other team's band ^__^

I would stand in line for this
Most of the time, during HS, the band were the only people who participated in the cheers. Once, two friends and I went down and attempted to do the cheers with the cheerleaders, just to wake the crowd up. We were playing the best ******** football team in the state, and since they were a private school they got to pick their division. Of course, we lost.
50-something to like 3.
It was more like, the football coaches and the band don`t mix. Just the coaches. The football players love us. They`re like "HEY BAND! PLAY -----" But the coaches. . .
One year, when we were preparing for our marching contest that we host, they weren`t going to let us use the football field. They`re like "use the practice field". That place had no lights [It got dark at like 5.00 and that`s when the contest started], and their attempt at lining the thing had the hash mark placed at 26 paces, not 28. Oh, and the thing might as well have been a dirt road. We, the seniors, were like "Oh, hell naw. We`ll vandalize your ******** field if you don`t let us use it."

We have only one cheerleader in our band. Guess what she plays? Piccolo! In all the picture it's kind of funny, because everyone but the short piccolo is wearing their uniform.

Hell no. Cheerleaders at my school suck and we have to compete with them for peforming time at games. Well we used to, until they cut the pep band program but kept the cheerleaders. evil

At my school, cheerleaders and band people get along. It's weird because the band people are more popular than the cheerleaders, because the have bands and gigs and such. I get along with all of them because I'm a cheerleader and a pianist. XD

We love talking bad about the retarded cheerleaders when we're in band. We don't even hide that we're talking about them, someone will say something really loud in band and if its an insult someone will yell "Like Raven!" or "Like Julianna!" especially if it's "Those m0therfu(king wh0res who suck d1ck all day"

That is not true. During games we play "We Got Spirit" with them. Then we cheer each other on. We get along with them just fine in and out of games. Last marching season I saw a band where the Drum Major was a Cheerleader.

cheerleaders and band are different as night and day for us, we didn't like them and they didn't like us, and when one did both they got shuned, and when one crossed over it was a running sentiment that we had saved another from corruption....

none of our cheerleaders are in my band. But they love us and we love them. at football games they put up more signs for us then the football team. They mainly do their cheers near us. They dance to our music and do any cheers we request. Alot of times they'll yell out "We love the band" then (mainly all the guys, but some times the rest of us) well yell out "We love the cheerleaders." and then the guys end up in trouble with their jealous girlfriends. But for the most part my band is cool with our cheerleaders.(course the coach and my bd keeps the band seperate form dance, football, and cheerleading.)

The cheerleaders have to follow our cues, since they have dances that go with all of our songs. We take great pleasure in switching up the stand beats (like, changing them midway, speeding them up, whatever), and adding new instand music without telling them. They get confused, and it's pretty funny. We get on ESPN more than the cheerleaders do, plus the dance team is cooler.

The cheerleaders at our school hate the guard girls for no reason, maybe its because we always say that cheerleading is for girls who couldn't make it into colorguard ninja ninja

we have A cheerleader in marching band- and she is in middle school- we basically hate all of the high school cheerleaders except one who used to be in band.
a random reason? THEY COMPLAIN WHEN WHEN WE PLAY A NEW SONG AND/OR PLAY A DIFFERENT AND BETTER VERSION- LIKE OUR NEW FIGHT SONG THIS YEAR THEY RESPONDED TO- "now we have to figure out a new dance, this sucks"

Our band director hates cheerleaders! So do the band members. At games we mess up the cheerleaders when they are doing certain cheers. We also love suprizing them with new songs at football games. They expect us to notify them when we have a new song so they can have a routine that goes with it. We also have a secret band cheer that they get ticked off when we yell it at games.
