Utasi snorted. The girl has a temper. Although she could see a lie before, she may be too angry to notice one now. Say exactly what I tell you.
Monkuta smirked and did so.. He took a step forward, blade still outstretched. "I seek... A challenge. I am not a murderer you see, I am a warrior, as I have said. I kill none unless they truly wish it. Where I come from, that is how we battle. But unfortunately, I am the best from my land, and the combat no longer amuses me. So I came here, seeking friendly duels with the elves. It's just a bonus that I've found other riders." The smile he was faking looked genuinely real at this point. Anything else, Utasi? She may not believe us.
The dragon was silent and motionless for a moment. No. That will do. Let us wait and see. Perhaps she too will want to duel in this... 'flustered' state.

"It wouldnt be fair..." Serbrina said, She stood up. She steped out of the shadows. "And it shouldnt go on... you are both dragon riders, And you," She glared at Monkuta, "Fight till the end... Which is not a good thing..." She smirked, "And, i can tell when someone is being told what to say..." She said the last part in a low voice, where only Monkuta and maybe his dragon could here. Your taking it to far little one... you should step into these kinds of things... just let them work there self out, alone...

Lydia asked, she did not wish to fight, having seen how much damage seithr oil could do, "I don't want to fight without good intention," she looked at Artemis, who just stared back at her, "there is no truth in your words stranger, maybe you are the best in your land, I would really rather not test it out."

Lydia drew her sword back a little, sheathed it, and walked calmly, disappearing into the gloom of the forest.

(fine, shut up with the obvious signs that you are up to no good, like the battle stance, and make it less easy to interpret)
Lydian stalked through the misty gloom of the forest, which she knew like the back of her hand, Artemis riding on her shoulder, occasionally jumping off to spear a vole, coming to the shallow cave, she walked in, Artemis, this is my home, she said, and a nice home indeed, Artemis responded, eyeing the soft leaves and moss that lined the cave and the smooth rocks, shadows dancing around their curves. At the back of the cave was a warm water spring. Artemis gave a yelp of joy and leaped into the spring, legs working furiously, she bobbed to the surface, occupying only a little of the spring with her tiny body. Lydia laughed for the first time in hours and lay her sword next to her as she picked up the razor sharp chunk of amethyst she had been slowly working into a spear. She rubbed a dull black rck against a rough spot, smoothing it over little by little.

Dion looked around,his orders were to find the elven city and locate the enemy rider,Eragon,and destroy him or his dragon.Quartz was pumped and ready to fight like always but Dion was worried about this battle because of the sheer power in the elven city.He also wondered if he was doing the right thing,was he on the right side?Was he destined to destroy the Varden like his father suggested?Or to join them?He made his desicion,he would join his fathers worst enemies and stop him."Quartz should we stop my father,or help him?" Dion asked.'That's your choice my friend' Quartz answered."We're going to take him down." Dion said.'Ooooh!THat sounds like a good battle!' Quartz exclaimed,'Woah!Somthin' saphire coming this way Dion!!'."Land in that valley,the one with no trees!"
'GOT IT!!!'.As Quartz landed Dion Jumped off and disarmed himself.Eragon landed and jumped off Saphira "What do YOU want?!" He exclaimed."Calm friend!I wish to stop my father!"Dion said truthfully."Yeah and I'm an illusion!"Eragon said,disbeleiving."Fine,we duel,you win,do what you want to me,I win,you allow me to join you,and,no help from your dragon!"Dion said."Fine" Eragon said.He slashed at Dion,who ducked rolled and grabbed his sword,barely blocking a strong blow,he slashed,parried,rolled,then TINK!!!!Eragon's sword flew out of his hand and into a tree."Now i join you." Dion said gloating as he got on Quartz,ready to follow Eragon.'That was luck!'Quartz said.'Yes,but he doesn't know that!'Dion replied through his mind.

(a few weeks later)
Artemis was growing impressively fast, Lydia had not forgotten the mysterious stranger, she had no proof that he was not to be trusted at all costs, she had just said what was on her mind. Artemis, she said, do you want to try flying?
YES! Artemis cried, I so want to fly! But my scales won't harm you, they're smooth, see? All right then, Lydia said, but you must make sure that you can stand the extra weight.

Dion looked around the elven city,he had been accepted into the varden but he could sense that he wasn't completly trusted,he understood.He had fought and killed many varden warriors in the past,but he wanted to redeem himself.It would be hard,but he would do it.
