Her eyes slowly moved down as his own gaze moved from her, bitting her lower lip gently. Her cheeks got redder and redder. "N-n-no. Its okay." What was she supposed to say to that? Wait. If Moon Shadow was after her now... "She...wont...randomly...appear will she?" She didn't much like to think about what would happen if she did. Keeping the lights on when she slept...avoiding shadows...always having a flashlight in hand...Her face turned a whole new shade of red. If that would be enough. Would it be safter to avoid him or stick to his side twenty four seven?

Shadow rose again and looked at her, noticing her face was was changing colors like before. He had never really talked with anyone else let alone girls so he didn't understand what it meant "I don't know exactly, I could save us both the trouble...and just give up" He knew it was probably the only way, he didn't want her to get caught up in this fight.

Her eyes widened slightly. "Don't do that..." She felt fit to die of embarrassment. What had possessed her to say that aloud? "I...I mean..." There wasn't much she could say to negate 'that'. "Because...you'd turn back...into a shadow then right?"

"Yes" He stopped for a second, surprised she said something like that. At least he knew she didn't think he was crazy now "Thank you, you understand what's the cost of losing to her, even when I didn't know
He smiled and felt some trust in her now, she seemed to understand his situtation and he was starting to not regret telling her these things "If I may ask, what is your name?"

It almost seemed like the blush was perminately on her! Mixing with the deep red of her 'freckles'. The question though, set her completely off gaurd. Her eyes snapped up in surprise, focusing on his blue for an instant before quickly lowering again. Slowly, very slowly, she pushed herself into a sitting position, resting on her legs. Well...maybe...just this once... The female closed her eyes. "...Zana."

"I see, Zana, it is nice to meet you" He smiled, seeing she was starting to trust him. It was good for two people to trust each other, expecially when they were both targeted by a very dangerous person like Moon "You reverted her back to her shadow form so we should be safe for the night" He looked at the stars and sighed "Do you want to go home?"

She winced slightly as he spoke her name, an oddity that her name was uttered neither by her, Dayht or her mother. Mother. She quickly nodded, eyes still closed. Home seemed like a VERY good idea to her.

"Alright, do you want to fly or walk?" Home... His expression become alittle sad when he thought about that word. There was no place he could call that word, a shadow had no home. He returned his neutral expression and looked back down at her. It was the least he could do for her afterall that happened with them.

Fly. Gaurdians, flying was so much faster. Her lips parted...and her eyes opened to catch the sad expression right before it fell off. "...Walk." there was a chance that with walking, he'd tag along too. She repressed a sigh. She was too nice for her own good.

"Whatever makes you feel easier" He followed behind her slowly. He would take her back to this place she called 'HQ', hoping her parents wouldn't be too mad at him for getting her involved in this. He would try to make it up to them, he could have left her out of this, but didn't and knew he had to take responsiblity for this consequence.

Slowly she stood up, brushing off her legs before looking around. Which...way was HQ again? She jumped up slightly to flutter up into the sky, her body seeming to weigh no more then a feather. There! She moved back down and headed right. Now as long as she didn't take any detours...she should be fine.

He looked at the building alittle himself when she flew up and landed back down "A place that big, is your home, are you rich?" He was surprised to see such a large building on the island. He did see it a couple of times when he took small flights around the island, but never really knew what it was or that anyone lived there. He followed behind her queitly after that question, just looking around at the scenerary.

eek Her head snapped to the side at the question, eyes wide, lips parted...she ran into a tree head on. "ah!" She stumbled back a few steps, rubbing at her head. The female deeply blushed and continued forwards, pretending that it had never happened. "I don't think any pae on the island has any money..." At least, that was what raken said rich was. Having lots of so called 'money' or 'currency' that allowed you to 'buy' things. "headquarters is just where most pae live at...Lots of rooms."

"Oh I see sweatdrop " He felt alittle stupid asking that question now. Since when did he ever have to use money here anyway. He had been in the shadow world too long. He did notice her little accident, but decided to not say anything. His eyes moved back and forth across the darkness, just incase anything happebed. He wasn't worried so much about Moon, but more about the night itself. Though he loved it, he could tell she didn't enjoy it too much and this expereince probably made her never want to come out after dark ever again.

She nodded slightly as her eyes went to the spot three feet ahead of her, on the ground. Looking out for rocks and more trees and...anything else that could no doubt make her have another 'mistake'. As things settled down, she listened to the faint cricket songs, and felt the night enclose around them, their path lit up by stars and fireflies. She looked up the midnight sky, its vast expanse covered by the dustings of a thousand lights and one moon that shone brighter then them all. "...Peaceful..." Zana whispered. No, she didn't hate the night. No one could see her...no one could bother her...the best friend of the shy.
