((OOC: Apologies in advance, both for taking so long and being rusty at RP. I honestly did not mean to take this long and I apologize again for making you wait. ))
A soft chuckle, "It has been, indeed," an eyebrow quirked in her direction, his expression warring between amusement and exasperation.
He chuffed softly, taking the few steps needed to be at her side, "It's a bit late, do you want to go home?" He asked, head tilted in a questioning manner. Whether or not he particularly wanted to find himself alone for a while was certainly not the issue here, so there was absolutely no valid reason for a sliver of his brain to be whispering to ask her to stay. It was quite rude. She needed time as much as he did and he wasn't about to simply ignore that fact in favor of some tiny little voice in his mind.
But to be fair, he had to admit that spending more time with Adrienne would be quite nice. Even if she was doggedly determined to show him just how well they were together and he was just as determined to show her that he was far too old for her. At least his days would be more interesting, rather than the normal, routine, and rather boring.

'No,' she replied smoothly, swiftly, looking at Kale. And then she spoke again.
'And yes. No because I've found you, and I like you. And I don't want today to end really. And yes because I know we both need time to think, and I have much to tell my mother which will make her happy.' she grinned at the stallion, thinking on how pleased Ardia would be if she told her that had found someone that she liked.
'But I know that if we part now, I'll find you again, and we can spend another day together. The anticipation of meeting you again might outweigh the feelings I have on parting from you this evening.' she smiled.
'And so it's up to you really. Go on into the night together, or let me find you another day?'

Surprise flashed over his features, followed quickly by exasperated amusement as she continued. She really was very determined about this, and simply wasn't about to stop even for the reasons he continuously gave in contradiction to her compliments and statements about his person. They were good reasons too, though she still seemed loathe to admit it.
"I think it would be best if we had some time apart to think about everything," He admitted finally, "I admit that I would enjoy more time with you, but we hardly know each other at all, you must admit, and I think that giving both of us time to think and review what has transpired today would be best." And maybe then you would understand all of this a bit better...
He angled his head to look at her better, attempting a gentle smile, "So shall we continue this after we have had a rest and time to think? I have a feeling you could find me whenever you choose, either way."

Adrienne was determined, but even more so not to overstep things and scare him away. She was so determined to see him again that she would agree to anything..well bar all he had wittered on about their age gap, that was plainly nonsense.
'As you wish,' she replied with a sweet smile. She would leave him with a lasting and lovely impression of herself, so that hopefully he would see that all his assertions were just a load of bluster, a way to stop himself from feeling again.
'Oh I will find you.' she promised, and she moved in close to Kale, pressed her nose against his neck and then skipped back from him again.
'Take care of yourself Kale.' she moved a few paces more away, and smiled once more at him.
'Till we meet again..'
