Kyle had been sitting in the shadows watching the two men working on the car until they had left. He had heard the banging and came to investigate, but after the two had left, he had decided to go into the kitchen, maybe get something to eat. When he got there, however, he saw Dece cooking, and Jacknife standing around. Jacknife had never seemed to like Kyle, even though they had only talked for a few minutes anytime they saw each other. Kyle enjoyed Dece's prescence, however, and felt that maybe she enjoyed his. But maybe he just always seemed to imagine that. He decided that his stomach could wait for some food, and left to go do some more exploring. He had been here for three years and never actually been around the whole area. And as long as he stayed in the shadows, he was safe, so he went back to his room, waiting for night to fall.

Rei being the curious child that she was followed the man she had just seen walking into a building. She quickly bent the light around her, making her disapear into the background behind her. She made no sounds as she crept, making sure to keep her breathing and heart beat as quiet as she could. Stopping suddenly she saw what seemed to be a kitchen. Her focus was lost and she became visable again.
"A fancy kitchen? In a dump like this...seems strange dontcha think?"
She grinned shoving her hands into her pockets. To everyone she just looked like a young boy, her blonde bangs peeking out from the black sock hat she wore, her dirty apereance, and the scrape on her knee wouldn't suggest that she was anything but a young boy. And she liked to keep it that way.

{{On top of that The car, myself, and Daniel are currently in William's "Secret lab" which is kinda his own personal build so I'm not sure how you got in.....if that is what your claiming}}

William pouted slightly when the biggest modification he was allowed to make was extending the hull. Though he did like the idea of making it look like a slightly longer VoltWagon, it would definately be unique. That though gave the youth pause, having something unique could come back to haunt them in short order. What if someone started taking note that a interesting looking car kept driving back to a suppose abandoned mansion.
"That's just asking for trouble to mod it like that." William muttered, his back still turned and hunched over the work-bench, "I'll shrink the engine abit, keep the power maybe upgrade it abit, but that will give the driver and passenger a more comfortable lege room."
"I could reconstruct part of the frame too so it's much stronger, and safer. Put new crumple zones here and here." He continued to himself, sketching out a mock-up of the car with several different pencil shades and pens so that the complex build was that much easier for him to read.

{{no, he had come when the car broke down,a nd had watched the two working until they had gone into the "lab", then ahd gone to the kitchen, then left. i was kind of bringing Kyle up to date. he left when the two men went to the "lab"}}

Kyle was on his way back to his room when he saw a boy just appear out of thin air at the kitchen. "Well thats interesting. Hey, kid! What're you doin' here?" he asked as he jogged over to the kid in the most non-threatening stance he could.

Rei turned and looked upp at the man that adressed her. She grinned.
"Its funny, I should ask you all the same thing! What the hell is this place?"
She walked around pokinga t different object nearly making a vase fall to the floor but she caught it swiftly smiling sheepishly.
"I may be new to this town, but I'm pretty sure this place was abandoned ya know?"
She grinned and looked around.
"Are you guys making some bomb or something? Oh oh! This is a scret organaziation huh? Bent on the destruction of all man kind! but the towns people figured out that you were....all vampires! And then you ran away to hide here, so you could make a bomb to kill all the humans!"
As she spoke wildly she used hand guestures to emphasise her point, jumping on a table and shooting, "lasers" while she stated that they were bent on the destructon of all mankind. It was clear that she was making the hwole story up from the top of her head, by the way she had to stop and think about the next part of the sequance. Still standing on the counter she looked down at the people in the kitchen.
"So uh, are you gonna like bite me and make me one of you? Cause if so then I wanna be called something cool. Like a cool vampire name! Like uh, Spike! Or Snake! Or something with a "S" sound..."
She rubbed her hat slightly and laughed.
"Being a vampire's gonna be awesome!"

"Um, no. No vampires. Actually, just some people here that......well crud. I'm not really one to describe this place well, I'll just screw it up. Hey, Dece! Come here, I got something I need help with!" he yelled. "Dece will tell you better than I ever could." I hope he thought.

((Oh man, so sorry for not being around for so long.))
"Okay then," Daniel muttered. He might as well agree to everything William wished to do to Veronica. There wasn't anything else for him to really do here, he'd probably see the car by later that evening if not early tomorrow. "So, uh, how do I get out of here?" Daniel mused vaguely looking around for a door or something.

William's head popped up as he heard Daniel's question, he'd almost forgotten someone else was in the room. He looked over his shoulder and it was a rather comical sight. William had slipped on a pair of goggles that were strapped over his eyes, they were obviously magnified since his eyes appeared as nothing but the hazel iris and the black pupils. They swiveled back and forth as if he was trying to remember something then locked onto daniel and the car beyond, nodding as if he understood what was going on again.
"Right right way out, you must want back into the mansion instead of out the garage and around." William responded quickly, "There is a large switch on the wall, flip it down and the door should open to the basement."
Pointing across to the the room William centered out a single large switch on the wall, "Just don't tell the others how to get into my lab. If my stuff gets moved around I loose my mind and you know how much of a hassle that would be."
William chuckled quietly at his own joke and turned back to the bench. Obivously working on something since the slightest of clinking noises could be heard but obscured by his small frame. Had Daniel stayed or left William would not have noticed a slight bit, to concentrated on his newest task.

rei sat down on the counter and crossed her arms swinging her legs back and forth as the dangled, she was still too short to touch the ground.
"Well, is it a cool place? Like a millitary base? With a secret basement and lasers and everything!?"

Dece leaned against the granite counter authoritatively "We ain't got any lasers, this place isn't that ridiculous; You've got a lot of questions but I'd think the most important one is who are you?" she finished just in time for the oven to beep, signaling it was heated. Promptly she moved the foodstuffs into it, managing to do it with out losing the authoritative air. She walked over to Rei, clicking her heels on the tile floor "I'm sure you can imagine, we're out here for a reason" She said, leaning over to look the girl in the eye at eye level.
(Arr, I am thoroughly displeased with this post, but it's the best I can think of))
((PS, if I made an OOC thread, would we use it enough to justify it's existence?))

"The name's Rei...as in zero, nothing, ziltch, zip, squat! And, I'm different. Thats all you need to know lady! Especially seeing as I'm not the one with a secret millitary vampire basement!"
She pouted her bottom lip.
I mean really, all you vampire goons are just grilling me here!"
She jumped down from the counter in a graceful bound and looked around.
"Well, what else is in this place eh? Do you have like a secret fridge where you keep all your blood and smoke bombs?"

"We aren't vampires. What do you mean by different? Because......well," he began as he looked at Dece to see if she was going to stop what he was about to reveal. "Well, because we may be able to help you. If, that is, we're alike. If we are all different like you."

Rei narrowed her eyes.
"Ya know, I just doubt that your as different as me."
She smiled.
"I'm special, too special though. Thats why I have to leave, but I'm sure a bunch of millitary people like you want to dissect me. Well you cant, because mom will come back, and she wont let you."
Rei said this with every determinasion she had, almost forcing herself to believe it. Her stomach growled as the sent of food filled the air.
"But uh, I might answer some military questions...if I can have a bite. I'm a growing boy after all..."
