Or maybe Charity was just trying to lull Setsumi into a false sense of security... or maybe not. She looked pleased at Terasu's words though, for there was no reason.. that she could see.. that he shouldn't be happy for his mother and her new mate. After all.. Setsumi was a big girl and had every right to make her own decisions.
Darkfeather blinked as he was pointed at by both the females. My.. wasn't he the popular one. "Infact... she just told me" he added with his own faint smirk.

Try as she please, it would only give Setsumi reason to react. Though, she didn't need or want to start conflict with Charity. It was unnecessary. Her ears fell to the sides as Darkfeather revealed that bit of information. "Yes, I just now put all the pieces together." She could only wonder how long the process would take.
Terasu blinked in more surprise. "Geez mom, full of surprises are we?" He tossed a gaze to Charity. No kits for them anytime soon, he prayed. ^^; Maybe later later in life but not again so soon. "Don't think about it."

Darkfeather placed his paw on Setsumi's shoulder as he continued to listen to the conversation. He wasn't the most social type of course.. thus he had a hard time just jumping into it.. save for the occasional interjection.
Charity smirked at her mate, "I can't control everything my body does. So if you really don't want kits for awhile.. you know what that means." No more 'alone' time. Can he handle that?

The paw helped to wake her up. It was nice to be home, and see everyone again. Well, almost everyone. But Setsumi was glad to have seen so many in the first day. Shifting her weight, she hopped onto the couch as well, making sure neither of them toppled over. With a half spin, she settled on the cushions, front paws dipping off the edge. If she fell asleep, she'd just have to apologize when she woke up.
Terasu flinched visibly at her ultimatum. D; Sure, fine. He can handle that. Right? With a huff, he tossed his head, knowing she was right. "Sorry, I don't speak girl." He stretched to lay on the rug instead. "So, Darkfeather. I've never seen your face around before." Realm was big, but even his sense of smell had never crossed this kitsu before.

Charity snorted at her mate. Well there was atleast one language he should be able to understand. For as he settled down, right after he spoke to Darkfeather.. Jade grabbed his ear in her teeth and tugged on it. Nom nom nom.
Darkfeather shrugged, "That's not surprising" he said, looking to Setsumi as she settled down on the couch next to him. "I had been traveling all this time, until I met your mother." He smirked... for it seemed that even he couldn't resist the pull of a female to keep him from changing his way.

Face went deadpan as Terasu's ear was assualted by chomps. He tugged his weight in the opposite direction, swiping a paw to Charity. "Okay...Oaky! I get it." D; He was trying to pay attention to the other male as best he could.
Setsumi's face lifted in a small smile. "Heh, our travels collided." And now here they were, expecting. Something that neither of them believed would ever cross them. "I wonder how many..." She didn't know if she'd be up to four in one round, like Terasu had.

Making himself comfortable, Darkfeather draped a paw over Setsumi in that slightly posessive/protective gesture of his. Lighting brushing against her belly where the eggs were supposedly being held. "We'll find out soon enough." To think he'd gone from a lone rogue of a kitsu to suddenly having a family.
Charity watched as the pair got comfortable, figuring they were probably tired from their recent travels. Hm... didn't seem like a bad idea to her... especially with the kids preoccupied outside. She could do with a nap, also.

Hmm, that's all they could do. Wait it out. Setsumi gave a meep of a yawn, nuzzling against the grey fur of the male beside her. Best wait it out comfortably. Not long after, her eyelids fell shut for an afternoon nap.
Blink. What was this? Random siesta hour? Terasu gave a raised brow to Charity also, surprised to see her sudden agreement to a nap. Well, if there was nothing better to do. He'd just...keep an ear out. You know, in case the kids broke anything. x_x
