He did just as she had thought her had turned the conversation back around "My mother" she replied. She wondered how he could tell from her eyes she was usually un-readable. Emma sighed and said "I think Dr.Cuddy is looking for you, so if I was you I would stay away from my office".

"Don't know she broke up with the guy before she realized she was going to have a kid and she never called and told him about me" said Emma. She then looked down at her hand the words 'Father=G.House was still there. It clicked in her brain just then but no way no way on this earth could the guy she just met be the House her mother had been meaning.

"Guess so" she replied. As soon as she could she would get out of this hospital before some realized she was basically an orphan now. Emma knew how to take care of herself so she would survive.

"Sale what I can to pay for the funeral and then the medical bills...so I guess I might as well put the horses up for sale and then probably that t.v whatever is worth selling and then survive off what I can. My family is messed up they don't talk to my mother because she did not get rid of me she decided to raise me instead of having an abortion or putting me up for adoption. They make it known they do not approve of me so I guess I am on my own from now on. Which it seems like I have already been on my own when my mom got worse she could not do anything so I took care of her, the house, the bills, and everything else. Then she finally got so bad she decided to go to the hospital really she did not have a choice. So thats my sucky life for now." she sighed and turned to look at the city below. She then turned back to House "I'm pathetic it seems like maybe I was the idiot trying to not think about what was going to happen but instead doing everything my mom asked even if it mean putting up with her jerk boyfriend and not making rude remarks he did not understand infront of him. He hates me to come to think of it because I told him he had a deathly disease and he lived in fear for a week that he was going to die it was funny to me but he did get his revenge afterwards." she rolled up the sleeve on her right arm and a scar ran all the way from her palm to half way up her arm.

"Nope can't say I have been shot. So if your Dr.House why are you talking to me the nurses all say you never see you patients and don't talk to a lot of people unless you are harassing them." She looked at him and waited for his answer.

Thirteen walked casually into the exam room."Hello, im your examiner for today.. so it was apendicitus?" she asked, jotting down her examine's name. She then asked the regular questions and hen walked into the secondary room. She started the CT and monitered the scans."Hello Kutner" she said, as he entered the room."House is on the roof" was all he said, as he looked at her patients' progress. She roled her eyes and shook her head with a sigh. "Is there anything of intrest?" she asked, keeping an eye on all of the moniters. "Still mad at him?" he asked, resting his chin in his hands.

"Thats what I was thinking about you. Plus you basically get to do whatever you want because Cuddy will not fire you" she replied. She shivered slightly it was getting cold up here on the roof.

Thirteen roled her eyes." what if i am?.. It dosent matter.. and your not in it anyway. So mind your own" she said, letting out a frusterated sigh as the CT was finnished. She stood and arranged her papers.. writing down the progress of her patient. "Now if you will excuse me... i have a patient." she said, a smile on her face. She exited the room and got her patient, sending him to his room with another nurse. She then felt the buzz of her beeper on her hip.'MT N MAIN RM' is all it said. She sighed,"C'mon Kutner... we're going to the Meeting room" she said back into the room. Kutner was soon out and behind her."Amber..Why are we here?" she asked sitting down in her seat. This better not be another contest of House's...
