Closing her eyes, Amary allowed herself to fall completely onto her back, her legs tucked in and her wings fanned against the water. This was so nice and relaxing, just floating along in the warm water. All silliness aside, there was something theraputic about drifting along in the warmth and the quiet, enjoying the atmosphere and the steam. This water was really great for easing the joints, AND it made your coat gleam.

He soaked himself in a bit more of the water, wanting to get all the day's dust off him, before he just let himself relax and half float. He kept enough of the shelf under him so that if he got unbalanced he'd have something to stand on. Otherwise he floated in a nice little circle.

Warm as the water was, it would be easy for Amary to just float around forever. Or at least, that was how it felt to her. But all good things had to come to an end, and after a bit she knew it was time to get out. After all, she didn't want her hair to COMPLETELY lose its curl.
That in mind, she flipped back over, then paddled over to the shelf Sigao was keeping a toe on. "Ok, Siggy; move over, lady coming through!" After all, it WAS the only way out without flopping around in a markedly ungainly fashion, and she didn't feel like doing that.

"Leaving?" He got his footing and walked mostly out of the water as she spoke. He'd have to wait until she was at least a bit away from him before he shook all the extra water off or she'd probably get mad at him if she wanted to get dry herself.

"At least getting out of the water. See, you hav braids, Siggy, but I have curls; heat can really kill curls, and I'd look much less put-together without my curls."
Grinning, Amary trotted out of the water via the shelf, bobbing her head in thanks as she passed him. But before she'd gone more than a couple steps, the mare paused, glancing back over her shoulders at Sigao. "Are you getting out?"

He hadn't thought about that before. So having curls could end up being bad in the heat? It was a good thing he didn't have them then. He'd have let them go all to waist and his siblings would never let him live it down.
Nodding he clambered out of the water and trotted a bit away so he could shake himself off. Hopefully it wouldn't get all over Amary and he'd be able to get his wings sorted out without looking half drowned.

"Well, suit yourself. You don't have to get out because I am, though, if that was any reason for your hopping out. I'm a big girl. I won't be offended or anything if you want to stay swimming." Giggling, Amary proceded to shake herself vigorously, her wings and mane and tail floofing up from the action. She'd have to do something about that, but needed to dry out a bit first. And then find a flower.

"Getting too hot." All that heat was bound to get to your head eventually and he'd rather that not happened. It would be bad to go all silly in front of someone when you were suppose to be grown up.

"If you say so. Anyway, so what'd you think fo the spring? It's really rather nice, doncha think? You could almost soak in there forever!" Laughing, Amary twirled around on a hoof, running her wings over her ruffled mane in an effort to smooth them out. "Seriously, I feel SOOOO refreshed!"
There was no way he couldn't have liked that. Or if he didn't, there was something seriously wrong with him!

He nodded and as his braids thunked against his neck realized that his hair was going to be a sopping mess for a while. At least it wasn't all bad. He couldn't look too much like a drowned rat.
Grinning at her he nodded. "Was nice." Carefully he flicked a bit of water off his wings and nosed at the feathers until they wanted to behave.

"I thought so. See, heat is theraputic. Plus, don't you agree that your coat looks better? AND it's good for your skin." Yep, there was absolutely nothing wrong with this situation. "I bet your sibs will be astonished when they see you, don't you think?"

He nodded slightly and wondered what they'd actually say to him. They'd both told him on various occasions that he needed to make himself look better and this would definatly do it. But after how often he'd told them he didn't care they'd probably explode.

Unaware of the details of Sigao's family relations, it was easy for Amary to disregard any potentially deeper meanings caught up in Sigao's silence. He was silent, that was no biggie. He was always silent.
So she swung around, crossing her wings behind her back and giving him a grin. "So, Siggy, now that you're all nice and shiney, what do you want to do now? Go out and find your siblingsand show off how pretty you look? Or do you still want to hang around with me?" As she spoke, the mare strolled over towards the stallion, giving him a cutesy look that she KNEW was over the top. But then again, she enjoyed such things.

He thought about it for a moment before he reached out and tucked back a stray curl of hers. "Flower?" He knew she'd want to find another one and he should at least help look since he'd been half the fault of it being crushed.

Considering that the place Sigao had tucked was where the rose belonged, Amary was pretty confident that she knew what he was talking about. However, that only resulted in her chuckling, giving Sigao a smile of thanks as she did so. "Well, thanks for the offer, Siggy, but I know where to find a replacement. A bit of a flight, but there'll be more than enough for me to mooch one. Gotta respect the sanctity of the loaction, though." And she almost managed to keep a straight face as she said that. Thing was, of course, that said location was her father's current haunt...with her mother...and some things were best left to those familiar with her father's habits. "Though it's nice of you to ask!"
