The thief reared back beating his wings in an attempt to defend himself from whatever was coming. The blond had snapped. Or had he? He didn't look angry like he normally did when the chase was on. Was he...playing? Sure teasing was one thing but playing? He hadn't thought that white wings had a playful bone in his entire body. Alright then, if Krad wanted to play then he'd go along with it.
"Your view of 'fun' and the world's view of fun is kind of different." He said with a chuckle letting himself drop to all fours again. A cocky smirk fell on his face as he took a few steps forward seriously hoping that Krad was in fact playing and not tricking into a false sense of security leading to his death. He made his way over to the lake and dipped one feathered wing tip into the cool water. "But...I suppose in some way it could be fun. Of course that's only if you're the one getting wet." He spun around quickly to launch what he hoped would be a surprise attack letting the water droplets from his wing tip fly in the blond's direction.

Playing. Yes, it was a new concept to the blond, at least this rather tame definition of it. A few months ago, Krad might have agreed with Dark, that he was not playful and could/would never be playful. But every since he arrived here in this strange land, he was changing, and here was another bit of proof. Able to be teased by the dark-haired thief without having thoughts of killing him in retribution, and actually manage to tease his counterpart in return.
"Oh, I don't know. I'm sure there is someone else out there that shares my idea of fun." He smirked, tossing his head and continuing to advance upon the thief. Golden eyes narrowing as Dark turned his back on the blond and strolled back towards the lake, Krad followed at a respectable distance. His ears flattened a moment later as Dark spun to fling water at him. Ducking most of the scatter of droplets, Krad rushed forwards, holding his wings tightly to his sides. Turning sideways at the last moment, Krad rammed into Dark in a effort to overbalance him and shove him into the water. After all, payback was sweet.

Crimson eyes widened in shock as the blond charged. Of all things he should have seen this coming, so why hadn't he. As Krad slammed into the thief he fluttered his wings in a weak attempt to regain balance. In a short second he realized that effort was useless. "You're commin with me!" He mumbled taking hold of the unusually long forelock of Krad's attempting to pull the blond into the lake with him.

Just as Dark should have expected Krad to charge, the blond should have expected some sort of retialiation in return. But certainly not having his hair grabbed. Eyes widening, he couldn't help but yelp as he was forced to follow the other male into the water. Because he certaintly wasn't about to stand there and let his hair be pulled out.
Hitting the water a scant moment after Dark, the blond lashed out blindly underwater, fully prepared to kill the other male if he still had a hold of his hair. Or at least attempt it.

Once he was certain that Krad had fallen into the lake along with him the thief released his mane and made to move away from from his counterpart. He didn't move fast enough, however, and he felt the hard blow of Krad's hoof in his side. Air escaped Dark's mouth and he gasped inhaling a small mouthful of water. His legs battered at the water frantically to push himself to the surface.
Once he breached the surface her took in a deep breath of air. He had been expecting instant relief but instead found himself hacking up the water that had made it's way down his wind pipe in a rather unpleasant manner. Why the hell did he have to kick him? He already got him into the water, got his revenge of sorts. There was no point to it and Dark was, well, pissed.

Tossing his head beneath the water to make sure Dark had indeed let go, Krad broke the surface, spatting water. Ears flat to his head and eyes narrowed, he tried to shake the wet locks of hair from his eyes. "Sometimes I really hate you." He seethed, scowling at his dark counterpart as he treaded water.

"Yeah well same here." He sputtered still waiting for that refreshing breath of air. "Did you ever think maybe you shouldn't have tried pushing me into the lake? Then you wouldn't be wet again..." He was well aware that he had pretty much started this whole mini war but Krad must have known by now that the thief would always get the last laugh.
His choking and sputtering started to slow and he was finally able to breath normally once again. Able to think a bit clearer he took a good look at the blond and he wished he hadn't. Krad was pissed to say the least. Dark's ears immediately flicked backward and stuck to the side of his head. The only thing on his mind were the words 'oh s**t'.

"It doesn't seem to have occured to you that you were the one who started this whole thing in the first place." Krad replied darkly, baring his teeth at the other male before snorting, ears as flat to his head as his hair was. He fairly growled at Dark before twisting abruptly and heading for the bank. He wouldn't kill the thief. Not now at least. After all, it was rather hard to chase or kill someone while treading water. There was no leverage.
Hauling himself up onto the bank, Krad paced a good number of feet away from the bank before shaking himself rather uncerimoniously, wings flopping about slightly as he shed water in all directions. During this, he tried to calm himself with the fact that this was just the way Dark was. But it didn't calm him all that much, leaving the blond still fuming in annoyance as he discontinued with his shaking, ears still tilted back to show his displeasure. Tossing his head and giving a full length shiver to settle his clothing and hair, Krad stretched his wings out to either side of him and turned his head to study them. It had the added benefit of being able to check where the thief had gotten to and keep an eye on him.

Dark simply watched the blond as he continued to tread water. He couldn't say anything in retaliation to that. He knew he started the whole thing which was a bit unlike him. Normally he would have avoided Krad like the plague but his counterpart seemed against hunting him down for the time being so why not have a bit of fun? The though that Krad should have expected another counter attack floated back up to his thoughts again. He paused to think it over a bit before starting to make his way to the shore, keeping afloat was fairly difficult when you didn't have fins or webbed toes.
As he pulled himself out of the water he decided that there really was no way for Krad to know that he always had to get the last shot in. Sure it had always been that way before. He'd kick the blond hard enough to provide a distraction before running to safety but that was different. Well it was a little different. That was more of a necessary final blow then a childish I get the victory type game that he was playing now.
"It's just a game..." He said finally flapping his wings a few times to get most of the water off the ebony feathers. It didn't seem likely that this little bit of knowledge would change the other stallion's mind but it probably wouldn't hurt to say it. "And if you don't want to see it that way...then you needed a bath anyway." Without another word he walked off not bothering to shake the rest of himself off. He left for two reasons. The first being that Scarlet would be awake soon and he wanted to check that she was okay. The second less noble reason was that he had likely just uttered his death wish by saying Krad needed a bath.
