Practicing kidou with someone sounded much more fun than studying by herself. Hikari learned a few of the basics when she was studying reiatsu control, so she wonders if it might be boring to pair up instead... With a slight tilt of her head, she wanders over to Haruko, who had called her to begin with. She pokes her friend and... "Poku~chan!" She wears a bright ^_^ smile (for lack of description). She can guess, by the book Haruko had and the fact that she called her over, that she already had plans to partner up to practice. It all woks out in the end. She still has her zanpakutou hugged tightly to her... "Neh? You called?"

Hikari ponders what Haruko meant by 'reiatsu ball' for a moment. When she recalls reading the book Nagi gave her when she was practicing with her reiatsu, her eyes go wide with excitement when she recalls that exercise. She holds the palm of her hand up as she concentrates her reiatsu... With a quick flash, a perfectly smooth ball of blue reiatsu, though containing nearly imperceptible streaks of red roving across, forms just inches above the palm of her hand. It ripples for a mere moment as it was a rather weak effort on her part, but it also proves that Hikari has some kidou ability for her time as a shinigami. She smiles as she looks at Haruko. "You mean this. Right?" She pauses for a moment. "This is going to be fun!"


((EDIT: Note to Robo... If I've got your character right, your kidou attack roll should be [4 (level) + 3 (agility) + 2 (kidou) =] +9. Also, you're fight log doesn't include Hikari versus Haruko ;_; ))

::Medixia listens carefully enough, even though looking at her would make the implication that she is either bored or uninterested. She looks at the taichou made sensei with one eye open and right hand firmly wrapping the bun on the same side of her head. When the sensei is done, she rubs that bun against her head and looks around the room. There's an advantage to studying in groups. The weakness of one can be more easily covered up by the strength of the group. At least that's a theory. She immediately notices who she does and doesn't already know. Hikari and Haruko look to have paired up. Shunketsu walked back to study on his own? Hmm? There's a thought. With a breath, she looks around to see some other students...all of which she didn't know. A few were already talking, perhaps their own pairings? With a sigh, she walks over to the only one she sees as 'alone' at the moment...and slaps Shunketsu on the back with a firm palm. In other words, she purposefully disrupted him.::

::She pauses as her face takes on a sinister look.::

You still haven't repaid me for that lavender sash of mine you tore to ribbons, so I think I'm gonna borrow you as a study buddy.

"I'm flattered, Rei." Kaosu smiled, looking at the cieling. "Not too many people ask me things like that. They just 'admire' me, rival me, hate me." He looked at Rei, and his nervous habits. "But I'm not the strongest here. If Tsai were here...he'd show you strength." He sighed. "But I suppose you don't want to hear about it.

"Anyhow, what drills me forward is the will to be strong, I suppose. It's been the quest for strength that got me training so hard, so often, so relentlessly." He paused. "And...if you must know...there is a reason I'm here. I..." He coughed, looking at the teacher, realizing that they were supposed to be doing something. "...well, I suppose that one can wait for another day."

He smiled coyly, standing up. "Practice. Hey, if you ever have some free time, I can teach you. Probably better than some of these teachers. I picked up a few things from Ugu. You probably don't know him. Good man." His mood darkened. "Secret-holding b*****d, but a good man."

((aren't we all supposed to be learning Kidou? I do believe that if anyone wants to partake in Zanjutsu class, they'd have to wait until the plotline returns to a point where the mods reopen those classes...))

Shunketsu was deep in thought when he felt a slap on the back...He was thoroughly annoyed and was about to let the person behind him know, but that thought vanished nigh-instantly when heard an all too familiar voice...which prompted him position his body in an odd position away from her, all the while nervously muttering "K...K...K...K...K...Kusinagi-san!! It's...uhh...uhh...nice to see you again! Lavender sash?? What are you talking about?"...Something about her gave him an odd feeling...but back to the point, Shunketsu has no clue whatsoever what Medixia meant when she said he tore her sash to ribbons...being that his was unconscious as he was performing that act...

"ehh...on the topic of study buddies...wouldn't it be more beneficial for you to find one who actually has kidou experience?"

::Medixia feigns careful thought as she pushes her finger to her chin, resting an elbow on an open palm, and tilts her head. She's having way too much fun with this. They can start memorizing kidou in a moment. She's pretty sure she won't be able to use any for a little while.::

I coulda sworn you knew what you were doing...

::She pauses for a moment as she begins demonstrating the next part. To be precise, she places both hands on the seams of her gi and begins flapping them, just enough to show intent no more no less.::

You grabbed my gi, threw it open, and pulled it down with you. The blood coming out of your nose...I thought you passed out from ecchi thoughts.

::The smirk on her face is almost too obvious as she sits down where Shunketsu was seated. She fingers the book he was reading before looking down to read what he was studying. From the immediate looks of it, he's started with an attack kidou. She almost rolls her eyes at the predictability of a hadou.::
