Wow. This all seems...
Very surreal.
I've never even heard of this guy. And here he shows up with his load of fans and haters, and his funky looking avatar, and THE ADMIN'S funky looking avatars.
I also think it's hilarious that they showed the Gaians with chairs and hammers on the ad, and now everyone wants one. They're going nuts, and then they find out how to get "the item," and it turns out to be...
A hat. ._.
How much you want to bet the Admin are going to release the other two items just because of the fit people are pitching?
As far as ads go, I'm GLAD this one wasn't an announcement. This way, it's like all the other ads: You know what it is BEFORE you click on it. Unlike going to the announcements, hoping for a site update, and seeing a freakish blue dragon grinning at you, telling you to buy his game.
Oh, I also got a lot more forgiving of the wresting forum, since it gave me a blue giftbox. heart

I do think they're going to release the chair and the hammer. If you look at the picture, the girl is already using the hat - according to the admins this man is going to stay at Gaia answering questions before his match, and it's probable that they release the other items in the upcoming days. Or I could be wrong, of course. Not so unrelated, how come this guy has a red name? Some people think he's supposed to become Cena's rival, and that we'll have a Cena/RKO match and a Lanzer/L0ck match. I don't think so, but the red name is.. interesting, and his thread was stickied. Maybe it was made by a RKO fan dev? xp

Why does one appear to be stuck to your rear?
In fact, just the opposite. Not only is Media Studies one of my top classes, and my major, but the building which housed me in my formative years was the home that media built. My father has been a copywriter for multiple companies, and most importantly an ad agency.
I don't think people shouldn't consume the media, but I do feel that its place on Gaia is depressing entirely. Along with the loss of innocence, but the Gaia of modern day seems to be one with very little control over itself. The hands of Viacom will soon be strong here.

And we all know that it bothers some..
But Gaia needs money. I want Gaia. I don't care what they have to do to give it to us, except for paid subscriptions. That would suck...
I hate those 'members only' things... Like on my bro's favorite game RuneScape... XD.

Vincente Eh, I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, cool, celebrity on gaia (in theory) but on the other... oh god... WRESTLING. Soap Operas for men. Then again, I suppose somewhere on the site there are wrestle fans. So I suppose I can't b***h. We have our anime to satisfy us. XD I concur, Vincente. sad I don't want the wrong kind of celebrities to start advocating Gaia, though. If pro wrestlers and people like Paris Hilton start advocating us, guess what kind of people we're going to get? Tweenies and almost illiterate...well, I don't want to say redneck, but it's the only social class they fit into.
