Miroku threw a seal towards the large demon.
"Rest in peace, demon."
The seal began to burn Muntoc's flesh and Miroku leaped into the water. He stabbed muntocs tail with his staff and continued by slicing it.

"No...It can't end this way..." Muntoc's axe glowed violently. "Thank you father..." Muntoc back handed Miroku and jumped out of the river. "Whats that burn...A seal!" Muntoc scrapped off the seal with his axe, leaving a mark on his scales. "Stand aside monk!" Muntoc slammed his axe into the river's side and it crumbled onto Miroku and Kirara.

Miroku sank along with the rubble.
He began to swim to the surface and unbound his hand.

Muntoc sensed the dark curse in the air. "The monk..." Muntoc ran back as far as possible to escape the wind tunnel, he soon dissapeared from everyone's sight into the distance.

Miroku emerged from the water, sucking a little of it into his wind tunnel. He looked around the area and noticed that the demon had left.
"Dang, I was hoping I could have cleansed his soul."

"Damn, that monk will be the end of me, I must get..." Muntoc smiled. Muntoc headed to the nearby village to hire someone he knew could help him.

Kirara walked out of the water, shook off the water and transformed back to her smaller form. Once she did so, she walked slowly up the bank and then suddenly laid down on her side and mewed in pain.

Muntoc picked up the little girl and placed her on his shoulder as he walked out of the town towards where last saw the priestess.

Miroku tied up some rope around the group and tied small seals onto it.
"There, while we camp we can be safe."

As Miroku sheilded them from danger Kagome crawled over to Kirara and got her bandages. She quickly put them on and slightly stared at her. You ok Kilala?

Miroku kept a watch on the area, sensing that the demoon they confronted would try something eventually. He would have to stay on watch now more than ever.

Kirara looked to Kagome when she spoke. She purred in response and perked up her ears with a smile which meant yet. She also licked her hand as a thank you.
