o wow. haha. this year was my first eyar.. an before we got our uniforms we ha tow ear temporary ones. which.. we wore. a GOLD unitard.. an over that like a red one shouler dressy thingy.. and we looked like fugly greek gods... =.=; it gave us all camletoes. ewwww. and then out ocmpetition uniforms.. werent that bad.. but they werent very goo color combinations.. i actually liked it kindaa.. but my guard.. composed of 7 ppl inluing myself.. dint like it. it was RED and BLUE. the shirty thing.. was like.. fishy scaled blue. and we wore baby blue 70s bell botoomms disco pants. haha. and then on top of thsoe we wore a big red skirt.. which u take off in the middle of the showw.. andd a red sash. looke retty from far.. but close up.. its weird. O_O

Our uniforms were HORRIBLE. I mean, they were kinad cute, but it had one strap and was too big on EVERYONE. The football team LOVED them though.

our uniforms looked nice, i mean freaking amazing, but the were not weather friendly. at all. they looked like tube top leotards (thank god for plastic straps) with a see-through tulle skirt. they were burgundy and black, but our drum major had grey and black instead. burgundy with black designs, then the skirt was a layer of like this pink tulle then black over top of it. like i said, they looked great, but they were soooooo cold x.X

My moderator, who know nothing about guard and never show up to anything, decided that they were going to make us look like majorettes. Guard should wear something pant-like. They were blue leotards with skirts so short they might as well not exist. They had gold sequin collars that choked you and if you didn't have perfect posture the whole time you looked 3x fatter. Our band director hated this outfit but he got outvoted at the meeting. We got plenty of comments from people on how slutty we looked and we go to a Catholic school.

I'm so glad my instructor is body concious. She knows we all have our flaws. And she chooses outfits that flatter our body. For winter last year we had black tights, and a black halter dress with a green shash at the bottom. Now it wasnt gorgous, but it was comfortable, and you could spin in it. The one thing that I liked about our drum major is the fact that the uniforms we got this year were beautiful. We just had to wear black pants under it. We were just stuck in the middle school gym.

Last year our feild show was Queen (We will rock you, Bycicle, and Bohemian Rapsody). Awsome right? Not when it comes to the costumes ._.
Sure we got to dress up in the Glam Rock style, big hair and everything, but the costumes were red and hideous. Not to mention that I'm really short and my costumes are always too long so they "fixed" it. Not really. It went from too long to too short and I had the biggest wedgie that i've ever had. Even earing tights wouldn't help! Not to mention the oh so unnatractive cameltoe . . .

the uniforms i've had to wear werent' too bad. my freshman field uniform could have been better. our show was earth wind and fire.  and then for winter guard we did sorry seems to be the hardest word by elton john and ray charles. (can't find a pic) but it was a chocolate brown velvet with 2 blueish tealish stripes and a mesh cloth with rhinestones at the top. it was nice ( i wish i could find a pic) then for my sophmore year our field show was Leonard Bernstein. we used the same uniforms for winter guard which was 17 again by eurythmics (sp?)  we didn't have the rhinestones for marching season. we added those for winter guard (or the pink under skirt)

lol ours were pretty horrible i must say, im happy i didnt have to wear them >.< but they were like these bell bottom, sleveless, spandex suites, that were half light gray, and half shiny plaid. the plaid was all kinds of oragnge and blues adn pinks and purples, and they looked hiddeous... but i must admit, they kinda went with the mr.roboto theme we were looking for... but the yera before we had floor lenght, box shaped dresses that were half light blue, half dark blue.... i wonder what they were thinking xd

2 years ago for marching band we had a circus theme. our uniforms were red velvet overalls with yellow and purple stripe and stars on them, and our flags looked like pride banners gonk . the uniforms were hot and the bottoms were flared which caused me to trip every other parade gonk

we have had the same uniform for the past two years and we hate it. it is black with a red and silver stripe going from the sholder down to our waist.luckaly we are getting a new one next year.

we have these black velvet unitards that have silver flames going down from the shoulders, (flaming boobs!) and little arm thingys.
they actually arent that bad, just the rest of my team REALLY doesnt like them
