yeah, I am out of practice with Barton Etiquette since I have avoided that place like the freakin' plague. Stuck to guilds for a forever.
B movie plots, huh? Well, Pacific Rim does come out in a few days. rofl Damn I wanna see that.

I used to be in that one guild, the one for Captain and Crew members, but the Captain of that guild one day out-and-out called forumites rats. That was the day I quit, and I have never once looked back.
I... I can't even articulate the words for how angry it makes me, just the sheer idiocy I run into in a guild/forum debate. It just...My rage, it burns like ten thousand suns.

Sounds like a good literary exercise, Tana. Did you sleep at all during those 50 hours?
Yeah, I found the RPR within my first week or month around, so I didn't have to stick around in the chaos of the forums for too long (though it was much tamer back then, anyway).
I'm surprised Gaia hasn't monetized selling plushies of avatars. Then again, the rate at which they come out with new items would make that nearly impossible.
I'm actually still a member of that guild (was never active) despite having not been on Crew here for years.

I can't help but wonder if they could not make a freakin gold mine with simple avi dolls with a store selling items to attach via clips or velcro.
As greedy as Gaia has become . . . they probably are trying it already.

That used to be a thing, you could buy plushies of some of the animal companions, and get your avi printed on a card or mug, but the company running the store scammed Gaia, so that got shut down.

Wow, that's impressive, Tana. I'm sure you slept well after that.
I agree, most guilds move at a slower pace. On the forums and the huge guilds, a topic staying on the first page for more than 10 seconds is a miracle.
Oh, interesting factoid, welian. That experience likely left Gaia with a bad taste in their mouth.

Hmmmm, I recall that! I remember there being something about printing your avi and such. No wonder that went away.
Damn, the RP bug bit the shite out of me tonight. I stumbled on a decent youtube video for audio and suddenly I HAD to write out an upcoming scene between my recom and two meaningless punk NPCs. For shits and giggles, I offer up a steaming bowl of copypasta here for all to enjoy. XXX

Very good, Magni, you're not too rusty, but the dialogue was a tad trite at times (maybe this was intentional since it a superhero RP).
