There are a lot out there, and they're usually long to boot. I love the classics so much, but I find I don't read as much as I did before college.

Yeah, it's a slow roleplay. I saw you trying to interact with Albie - she should be posting as Nik sometime in the next two days. She has a bit of a reputation for being slow, but she's not nearly as bad as me. I just procrastinate. Like right now, on a post for an evil demon queen.
Yeah.
I should.... I should finish that.

If I had known it would be slow, I might have gone for it. I guess it being in Barton Town made me assume it'd move at the speed of light.

Yeah, it's slow - there's also a few spots left as human or alien, so there's that.

I would, but I don't think that I'll have time for it even at its slow pace with my recent involvement in a new tabletopper campaign.

Frankly, it is annoyingly slow. I mean, one post every two weeks?! That is not really a good game to me. I even tried giving a gentle nudge in a quoted post- and was fussed at for "interrupting the flow." What flow?!? burning_eyes

Wow, that's molasses! The slowest game I was in was once or twice per week, b/c some could only participate on the weekends. Sorry about the rate to everybody who ended up joining.

The general rule in Barton Town, is that if there's an OOC thread for the roleplay, then you don't post OOC comments in the roleplay thread, ever. Not like it's a hard and fast rule, but that's what is considered proper roleplay etiquette in Barton Town.
But it is odd, I think, that this summer has been so unusually busy for a lot of people. I'm thinking it's because most of my friends in my age range are all in the throes of summer jobs and internships.
-shrug-
This is just the experience I'm used to.

*curls up with a chibi plush of Ruined* x3 Feels like it's been forever since I last posted. *stretch* I had a self imposed 50 hour writing marathon with a friend! We were competing to see who could come up with the worst B+ rated short(ish) story. And we take our garbage writing seriously.
I think I won, but can't be sure till the jury decides. x3 *cuddles more with the Ruined plush*
