That was more about it than I knew or could have known to ask for specifically. Thanks Snowman! *big hug*

Infamous one is my preference, honestly. It has a great mix of growth and powers, and each island is both a part of the same world/city and a new area unto itself. Five stars, easily. I plowed through the DLC "Festival of Blood" in one night, so that was okay . . . loved the bat fast travel aspect. I made about a third of the way into Infamous 2. It is different, but still good.
I only played about a half hour of FF9, and found it to be annoying, so never got beyond that. Too cutesy. FF8 was okay . . . but the magic system pissed me off. Having to draw spells out of people, linking summonings to specific people to keep them from sucking, just in general it was crap. Never played eleven, only played a little of twelve, and none of 13 or up.
Good luck on the puter, my friend. I know I like to have the ability to play a few games. I would love to see me some starcraft- but Wings of Liberty barely plays on my current laptop. sweatdrop

Any time, Tana. *accepts and returns said hug*
I like FF9 since it hearkens back to the times of FF 1-6. I'm not a fan of FF8 either, but it's not an awful game. Square Enix's experiment with their magic system was messy like you said, but I can respect some experimentation. I was interested in 11, but subscriptions are a big "no" for me. Everything after that is off my radar completely.
Thanks. StarCraft 2 is one of the games I'm looking forward to (though the price still bugs me a bit). I'm so glad Blizzard finally made another RTS, because it seemed like they never would after WarCraft 3.
I can't speak Japanese (aside from common phrases and such), but I love etymology. Thus, my obsession w/ Greek and Latin as a kid turned into an obsession w/ Japanese as a teen. So, I basically have a bunch of trivia, not really useful for much aside from dissecting terms I come across.

Oh! I forgot to mention my favorite Pernese character. I have to love Menolly. Perhaps such is because of the similarities (massive lack of self-esteem, inability to see positives). I loved reading her in the Harper Hall. Her fair of fire lizards are awesome as well. One of my favorite scenes was when her, Domick, Sebell, and Jerint had that quartet. 3nodding

Happy Fourth everyone. I recently got sucked into Sun Tzu, so that's where I've been. Anyone else ever read his masterpiece? x_x So much knowledge absorption.

Yes, a happy 4th to everyone as well!
Ah, I've not read the Art of War (only small excerpts), but I have read the Tao Te Ching, not that that's at all related. Taoism is such an interesting religion/philosophy...
