I was lucky that there was a great (and not a franchise) sushi place less than a mile from my college's campus.
I'm not usually one for documentaries, but what I caught of Planet Earth was very interesting.

I actually was taken out for an extravagant meal on my trip . . . and all i can say is wow. So much of the meal was spent with me closing my eyes and just reveling in the taste and texture of the food. It was mind-blowing.
Never had sushi, not anything good, anyway.

Wow, that must have been some high class dining.
Despite loving sushi from dedicated sushi restaurants, I still stay away from raw fish. I stick to smoked salmon and shellfish. Anyway, I hope you get a chance to try good sushi some time.

Well, I guess this is where the new folks introduce themselves. You can just call me Hound, if you need to call me anything. Was an avid role player on Gaia a long time ago and I'm back on Gaia now after deciding I needed what got me into role playing in the first place.

I looooooove sushi!! If I could, I'd have a spicy tuna roll every day for lunch. I've finally gotten my husband to where he tolerates sushi. We have this amazing restaurant in Oviedo called Sushi Pop that we like to go to. Cool atmosphere, innovative sushi [not to mention it's amazing], and the best freaking dessert I have ever had.

Have all you want, Tana and Twinkle!
Welcome to the Refuge, LoyalHound!
The sushi place I go to is called Ichiban (most unoriginal name ever). They have green tea and red bean flavors of ice cream, which are pretty interesting from what my friends say (I'm lactose intolerant).

The only sushi place I've ever been to is a franchise called Yo! Sushi in Union Station in DC.
Also, hello Hound! Welcome to the guild!
And now I must go bag groceries for five hours. Goodbye, lovlies~

Welcome, new dude!!! *gluggles*
As for sushi, I want to try it . . . but being in Pennsylvania (rural PA at that) makes that unlikely. Then again, I want to move to the west coast where such is far more likely.

I absolutely love seafood, I could live on shrimp alone, and kind of wish I did.
I'm also lucky to have a REALLY good sushi restaurant near me. It is through this place that I learned that eel is delicious, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. (also had jellyfish, which was pretty good).

Then you'll be ever farther away. *clings* Granted, it doesn't really mater, I'm just being histrionic.
Some of us old farts can take a lot of motivation to get into a roleplay, but we do love it all the same.
