He suddenly felt like the army leader talking to his troop member, and spoke exactly as he would have done in the same situation. He treated her like a friend.
"Well, tell me about how this new treaty makes you feel, to start with..." He smiled softly.

He nodded softly, tentitively listening to her.
"I know what you mean." He said softly. He leant across to her.
"There's something I've not told anyone yet. Before I was brought into Club FM, a week after I'd been bitten, I was hunted by a similar hunter. I never knew his name, only his face. But the hunter killed the someone close to me. It was a mistake, they thought my friend was me. But he was my last companion from my early days. He was a good friend. He even stood his grounds and looked after me when i was turned. He didn't deserve death..."
He closed his eyes, a snarl leaving his lips.
"The hunter believed he had killed me, and i didn't see him again for a while. I swore if I ever did see him, i'd rip his heart out for taking my friend's life. But then, after the treaty passed, i saw him in demonic ties. He saw me too, he was grinning like a fool. And I could do nothing. nothing!" He slammed his fist into the ground and panted in rage. He took a couple of minutes to recover then spoke calmly, softly
"So, I know how you feel..."

"I did it," He said gently, "Because I had too. You know about the disappearances, and this threat is too big to face alone. At least as a co-operation, we have a better chance at surviving. I had to make a choice. We all did. We had to choose whether to do it for ourselves, or do it for the pack. I did it for the pack. Besides..." He smirked, "We got much better technology than them at the moment. When this is over, I'll plan my revenge. But it'll be subtle, painful, and it will look like his own fault."

He shook his head.
"Because the vampires you have made friends with do not rule the show. The ones that do make the rules decided long ago that lycan equals enemy, and it's only fortunate that you were able to find the few that don't abide by those rules. The leaders of the hunters and demons have power to say what happens, and they agreed to becoming allies."
He sighed.
"There was an attempt. It wasn't like we didn't try. We sent an escort with a message of new peace to the vampire leaders. The next day that Lycan's head was all that returned, with a note thanking us for sending them a feast and telling us in so many words that they'd rather die than side with us, even against this threat."

He smiled and nodded.
"Of course you will. I have no objection to you having vampires as friends. You may make things a little tougher on Myyth, however. The demons and hunters are bcoming here family, after all."
He stood up with her.
"Listen, whatever happens, I want you to promise me this. When the killings stop, I want us to secretly kill the hunters who hurt us, work together on it. I doubt I could do it alone anyway. Would you join me?"

Fate smiled lopsidedly at Silver upon his arrival. It wasn't that she wish he'd stayed away, but what an akward moment for him to show. It didn't matter much, though. Mortis had vanished moments before.
Fate grinned, a small giggle escaping her. She pat his shoulder gently. "I suppose.." Looking at the ground for a moment, Fate's eyes returned to Silver. "Alright." Fate took his arm lovingly and laid her head on his shoulder.

He grinned.
"Of course I will, I'll pop in to your apartment one day. And hey, don't worry, you'll always have a friend in me!" He said, and patted her back.

(Tell me if you think i'm controlling the situation too much.)

We walked down the pathway, my hand wrapped around hers, and I stared up at the stars that shone overhead. "Its such a beautiful night, huh?" I looked into her eyes and I realized that I wanted to kiss her. Now where did that thought come from?

As I was debating what I should do, I heard footsteps coming from ahead down the path. "Now who could that be?" It was at this moment that the person's scent reached me. I stopped in complete shock. My eyes widened and my hand clenched. "Him! How?!" Then, a man appeared from down the path. He was standing at 6 ft and he was wearing a dark cloak. His hair was pure black and his features were something that would be seen on a model. He stopped around 10 feet from me (us?).

"So...it has been a while, hasn't it? I heard that you now call yourself Silver, am I right? A good name for you and one that would befit your status in the pack. Once you join us of course." These words broke me out of my shock and pure malice filled my body. "Logan, I told you before, I will never join you! Not in this lifetime or the next!" He sneered. "Now don't be like that. I wouldn't want to have to hurt your little friend here."

He glanced at Fate and his eyes widened slightly. "A vampire," he whispered "Why would you be with a vampire, Silver? No matter, i'm afraid i'm going to have to kill her anyways. I would never let a vampire live once I see it." I stepped in front of Fate. "I won't let you touch her!"
