Wulf. Calm the ******** down. No one is upset except you apparently. This is a friendly debate for the betterment of the guild. That should be your interest as well.
@Ferr: I'm not saying I disagree with you at all. But the way you are going about this is making zero effect, so that needs to be rethought.

If they flip, they are weak willed to the max. Rethink what? Bettering the guild? No. I'm gonna stick with actually bettering the guild.

@Fools: You're right Fools, but the reason it's having no effect is because no one but Urban, Antonio, you, and I have seen this discussion. Perhaps we need to create a thread for that specific purpose. I wasn't particularly thrilled with beginning this conversation in Chat for that very reason, but I felt the need to introduce the issue. And lay off Wulf will you? The man's just worried that some sort of bloody coup is going to ensue.
I will, however, agree that no one should be annoyed by this topic. It's a crucial matter for Rykros that deserves some attention.
@Wulf: No one is going to flip. Don't worry. I would very much appreciate if you read what I said on the last page. Some of it concerns you, but that doesn't mean I hate you, am attacking you or desire to ruin your life (disclaimer since it's sometimes need). Your talent just happened to be a good example during the discourse.

Ferr: It feels like it though, like that's my big reason for not being fearful. It's a combination of things. People saw me in Axiom, and automatically think Tombz is the same guy. Tombz isn't. He's a monk now. No guns. No rockets. Nothing fancy. I've a reputation for CQC combat in RP. I make terrifying machines. I'm scarred from Fenrir. Everything metal I make, I make sure it can't be magnetized. I won't be someone's puppet. Not again.
It would have. It wasn't that it was OP, but that it took the unique things from Races and Talents, which made them less unique. Simple as that. If I might've picked a few races, I might've gotten it. But that wasn't my talent.
The thing is, Tombz talents are base for me. He literally has a camera in his head. A machine for everything. It's my philosophy.
There is more. People would come from different areas to watch, as well as participate. I could imagine a mage could win, just as much as a warrior. It depends on who's positioned better at what time.
Like I said. You weren't there. You could try to understand, but it won't happen. We were all oppressed. Look at the characters who came from Axiom. Cherry (Ameratsu) chose to forget her past. Lili has nightmares about it. Tombz was worried Fenrir would hurt his love. The list goes on. Fenrir was a terrible guy. Like Hitler. Only a werewolf.
Hop to it. And once more, hop to it.

@Wulf: I see. That belied the purpose of the discussion.
@Ferr: Sorry. I tend to.... be rather blunt. Most of the time I am not trying to be mean. A thread perhaps, but that wont do much. It will still be left up to the mods and their discretion. I really wish I would be made a moderator. I get s**t done. xD This s**t doesn't happen while I'm in charge.

Ferregar I don't care if the truth upsets some approval mods. At least one of them feels like they accept OP powers on a daily basis BECAUSE other characters have OP skills, and thus they feel that they have to let others do the same so no one gets left behind. We're encouraging OP RPing by doing nothing to help enforce regulation on what people can and cannot do. Everyone has the right to one OP power, sure, I get that. But Antonio, explain to me how your character "doesn't know s**t?" He's stupid? He doesn't understand technology? 13/13 IS OP. IT IS OVERPOWERED, no matter how you spin it. Being stupid doesn't balance that at all. AND your weapon gives you awesome abilities all its own. As for your character being killed off that is an admirable thing, but aren't you doing that because you feel no desire to stay here? Because as you pointed out, you feel like some people hate you? When a person makes a list of the people that do and don't hate them in a guild, that's a fine example of how NOT drama free things can be here. 1. By he can't doesn't know s**t, means I can't learn skills. I have those that come directly from my weapon and talent, and that's it. If he changes BL he losses it all. 2. I'm staying. 3. I'm killing him off for the reason being that I'm in the process of making a better RPC. 13/13 isn't that strong if you think about it. Urban can surpass it no problem if he wanted to. 4. Drama free, when did I ever say this place is drama free. I cause drama foo.

@Urban: Then I apologize for my miscommunication. My emphasis was more on the fact that you're a skilled RPer, which means you can deal and move on. That being said, compare what I said to some of your responses. You make terrifying machines that can't be turned against you, which has nothing to do with you becoming a puppet. You're fool proofing your machines so that Xavier or some other machinist can't manipulate your creations, and just as you can demagnetize metal you can remagnetize it. You are leaving no room for someone like Xavier to work around that. You state it as though it is law.
I said specifically that the reason why your Talent was rejected was because of the mimicking bloodlines. You just acknowledged that, but you failed to acknowledge what I said. If you had removed the ability to copy bloodline powers, your talent would have been accepted. You jsut agreed with me. On top of that, the camera in the head concept testifies to the fact that the talent is more closely related to Photo-reflexive memory, and doesn't give you the ability to reverse engineer bloodline abilities anyway.
Having a machine for everything and a camera in your head is not a philosophy. That's a formidable strength that you use to your advantage, and has nothing to do with outlook, life, or the like. Saying that he would never be a puppet again is more in line with personal philosophy.
It doesn't matter if I wasn't there. I read it all. You're not the first character or person to get so royally ******** as that. Fenrir is hardly the greatest villain the world has ever known. He is more like a prime example of a douche bag whose power went straight to his brain and decided he could play God without his guildmates' consent. If anyone can appreciate the repercussions and affects it had on your characters, it's me.
@Fools: I feel similarly, but as you said we rely on the mods and their discretion. What's important is that we and those that agree with us speak their peace and prove that this is an issue, and that we know how to help fix it. I don't want a crew position.
@Wulf: How does it being part of his ego justify such a huge power? You also just contradict yourself saying he's not like death but is. Wulf already has a super powered alter ego of darkness; why do you need to give him another? With the scope of his abilities, it's less of a Talent and more of a simulated Bloodline.
@Antonio: I'm glad your staying, but even Tombz will tell you that he can't exceed 13/13. If he can tell you that he's capable of exceeding it, then that ability on his end is OP too. It IS that big of a difference. It's one point beyond 12 on both sides which is already considered colossal. Then, while you cannot learn normal skills your weapon has numerous abilities, all of which are GOOD. In some instances better than similarly ranked skills from a number of classes. That, and your talent is good. All in all, if you look objectively at your characters strengths they far exceed his weakness. As for the drama thing, you help me to prove a point. This isn't drama free, and alot of it stems from in-fighting and people feeling that other players are out of line. It's not healthy.

It's not much of a boost my friend, +2 speed and -3 strength. Reaper skills lowered one energy cost and besresker up one. It seems to even out, more like a handicap at the moment. Now Sin hehe he will always show up in his story. But he isn't Srin's alter ego it's his real life brother that he kinda saved and put into his body. I kinda corrected myself when I say did and didn't. He will have some aspects

Urban, here are some examples regarding our case. I'd like you to acknowledge that it's not MY case. I don't have an agenda. I'm speaking on behalf of a number of people. Talent 1 Tsukuyomi: The 360 degree Vision Description:The talent is a rather odd but also a rather handy one when in battle, the user can see 360 degrees around themselves when enemies or weapons that are thrown come in to strike, the vision's range is at 7 ft. in diameter and can spot anything coming from in front, behind, diagonal, left and/or right, above, and even under. With the 360 vision, the user can also react faster than most others of their rank, allowing them to use this in a more strategic manner in order to take down many enemies at once. Even if someone tries to cloak themselves, when they enter the 360 vision's range, they are seen. He can see anything, anywhere, including invisible people within seven feet and has the ability to "React faster" which allows him to drop multiple enemies at once. At the time of its writing, Kira was rank STUDENT, and it lacks any weakness or limitation. How is that balanced? Current Talents in limbo aren't so bad, but it's clear that there is continuous conflict regarding them. Particularly over abilities that give others the ability to sense certain things. They are denied because they are too 'similar' to a Seer's Bloodline... but they're not. All you have to do is read the level of argumentation in the custom threads to see that it's incredibly push and pull. I'm looking into the other Customs now. In Custom Factions, which I understand is CLOSED but for some reason still has applications coming in, Graveheart has given a faction the ability to destroy things on a molecular level. They are considered a "Peaceful" faction, gain a +3 bonus to speed at all times and a -2 to strength WHEN THEY ARE WEARING THEIR CLOAK. Wearing the cloak is only mandatory in meetings. There is no considerable limitation, and this faction was approved.

It depends on how you word things. Niether myself, nor Jack like talents that relate to seers. It's just one of those things that are too popular right now.. As for that talent, speak with Cain. He approved them.
