Jira was in the kitchen, trying his best to figure out what Flicker would like to eat. As of yet, the Larvesta has refused every single berry that had been offered to it. After what seemed like the longest time, the boy finally discovered something rather intriguing. Upon discovery of a peculiar yellow berry he wasn't familiar with, Flicker caught a single whiff of it and stole it away in a heartbeat. "Wacan....." He read off the container the berries had been stored in. He pulled one out and took a bite as Flicker devoured the one he'd swiped. It had a very distinctive and truly unique flavor to it.

Trigramatic "...and so I untangled the noodle implements from my fur, and I said to the Prime Minister, 'Toodle-loo. You are a mean old poopy-head and you won't be hearing from me.'" There was the sound of, at least, Tails' giggling, and some set of footsteps approached. I perked up then looked over. I heard Tails talking to someone... I caught myself leaning in my chair, looking around Sub to see what was going on...

Blizzard120 I then shut off the stove, then threw the pan over to the side. "Well, I guess this means you got room to do whatever whenever your Ralts starts getting up in age and able to battle." I said. "If you're anything like me, you may be inclined to teach attacks of your specialty anyhow to her. I can see you teaching something like a Dark Pulse to her." "Dark Pulse huh? Didn't think of that actually...I wonder what other Dark type moves it can learn..." Sub said as he pondered the thought. "Hm? Is someone telling a bad joke?" Sub said looking over his shoulder, and then at Blizz. "Your guest of honor, perhaps?" He then spotted Jira and pointed at him. "I know it wasn't him."

Sekushi woke from his nap, knocking Honey off of him. " Looks like its time to go, Honey" he said as he stood up and checked his gear. He knew for affect that it was time to head to Sinnoh to get the new priority mission. " Don't worry" Sekushi said calmly. " We can handle this by ourselves if worst comes to worst" he said.

"This is becoming a daily thing with you, isn't it?" I ask Samurai when I caught him outside HQ again, 'training' against pokemon far beyond what he can handle.
"Oshaaa..." Samurai whined slightly. Little did I know, it was already a daily thing.
"Look, what say you take a break, and I get you some food. I'd say we can talk about it later, but... don't know what good that'll do."
Oshawott wordlessly followed me inside. The look on his face seemed to implicate that he knew I didn't approve, but that likely wasn't going to change anything. Together, we headed toward the kitchen, where I noticed there were a few people hanging out already.

Jira hadn't even noticed the others in the kitchen at first. He'd been too busy attempting to feed his newborn Larvesta to see them. When Sub singled him out, he jumped slightly, jarring Flicker and causing the poor thing to fall onto the counter, bouncing several times as she did. "Veeeesstaaaaaa!" She wailed as Jira picked her and attempted to console her. "What did I not do, now?" He asked of Sub as he turned to look at him.
Lykas was in his room, wondering how long it was going to take Odd to get that mission he was supposed to be working on done. While he was pondering, he appeared to be playing a video game. Where he'd acquired a Wii was anyone's guess but he was playing the hell out of a game on it. In his distraction, he failed to notice that Chinami wasn't in the room with him. Normally, she and Sphynx would always keep him company when he was alone.
The female Dewott had gotten an urge to get outside and do a bit of solo training. Her Razor Shell had gotten a bit rusty just practicing against still dummies in the training room and those idiots that Lykas had been fighting all the time lately were always using Pokemon she never got to fight. For some reason, that human had been favoring his prissy Milotic over her and it was beginning to irritate her greatly.

Samurai noticed Chinami immediately and started to follow after her. He hadn't spent any time with her after the first time they met, which had been a while ago. When I noticed he was gone, I gave chase. Eventually I caught up to him and the girl Dewott, and chose not to make my presence known to the pokemon. Perhaps I'd just stumbled upon the reason for Samurai's strenuous 'training'.
(Hey, Chinami,) Samurai said eventually, mostly to catch her attention as an attempt to catch up to her. (Long time no see...)
Meanwhile, Chaos left his room and started heading toward the main lobby. As usual, doing nothing was starting to get boring. When would he ever learn?

Chinami had already made it out the door before Samurai caught up to her. She smirked at his presence but didn't shoo him away. [Why hello, young one.] She greeted as she pulled her scalchops from her fur obi. As she turned away from Samurai, her scalchop fans materialized and she began a slow and practiced dance. This was a form of tai chi to prepare her for the rigorous training she intended to follow this. [How have you been?] She finally asked, once she had her rhythm down.

(I, uh...) Samurai mumbled, getting nervous already. (I've been doing a lot of training, but otherwise I've been okay. How about you?)
It took me a bit to comprehend that odd sway as Samurai contemplated what to say to the Dewott. He seemed a bit... uneasy? He ran to her, so it couldn't be fear...

Chinami slowed her dance for a moment as she considered this. [You've been training, huh?] She asked, though she didn't stop her dance for even a moment. [Have you learned anything new?] She asked. Before she responded to his question for her, she slowed her dance and looked to the fans in her paws before looking at a rock not far off. She pulled back and threw the fans at it, spinning them like glowing blue discs as she released them. The fans hit home in a cross pattern and bounced off, returning to her hands via ricochet.
[I could be better.] She finally responded. [I haven't seen much battle recently and I'm falling out of practice.]

(Yeah, I've been learning, although most of it from training than from battles. My friend usually brings me out first when something's wrong, but it's not exactly a daily basis or anything.)
Samurai watched Chinami use her technique on a nearby rock. It seemed really effective. He hadn't tried using Razor Shell as a ranged attack before, and he was rather impressed. He'd hate to see what that'd to to a living thing, though. The attack made a sizable dent on that rock.
He looked back to her when she spoke again. (Oh? Your friend's been keeping out of fights?)
Chaos plopped down on one of the couches in the main lobby. Nobody was around for the moment, but he could be at least a little patient... but just a little.

Chinami looked at her scalchops and frowned. That wasn't good enough. They should have cut clean through. Had she really fallen that much out of practice or had she never been that good before? [Well it's good you're learning. It doesn't always have to be from battles that you learn, though. Every experience in life can teach you an important lesson.] She provided as she threw her fans again. Once again, they bounced off and returned, leaving only a large dent on the stone's surface.
[It's not that my human has been keeping me out of battles as much as it is that he's been trying to get other, newer, Pokemon up to speed with the rest of us.] she explained.

"Hm, GRAY? You there?" Sub said to his SNAG as he walked out the kitchen. "I'm a program, as long as your SNAG is turned on I'm always 'there', genius." GRAY remarked. "A simple yes or no would have sufficed." Sub grunted. "Regardless, you got your answer, now what is it?" GRAY replied. "Have we heard back from those people I talked to last week?" The team leader inquired. "Not yet, but I'll keep checking, as if I have anything else to do than be your secretary." GRAY quipped, Sub just rolled his eyes and pocketed his SNAG.

Samurai scratched the top of his head. (Huh. Didn't realize we could get weaker through inactivity. It makes sense, I mean... just haven't thought about it. Maybe I should take the rest of my friends with me when I train.)
Chaos, his limited patience spent, gets on his feet only to hear a familiar voice. Following it in hopes of quelling boredom, he walks into the kitchen and smirks. "Quite the mouth on that bucket of bolts. So I take it you're done saving the world for the moment?"

[We can't, really. Once increased, our strength remains as it is. Our inner power maintains it's peak, regardless.] Chinami supplied with a growl. [This only goes to show that my strength is still insufficient. I need more training. More power.] It was obvious from her tone that she hated feeling weak for any reason.
