*Akito closed his eye as Hikaru started to remove more of the bandage. It was starting to feel a lot of pain and he couldn't understand why. What had happened to him? When Hikaru apologized he was more confused, had he done this to him? It seemed unlikely that he would hurt him and then heal him. He laughed at that thought.*
Hikaru, what are you doing? You can't heal me! Where's Synge when you need her? Oh right, she doesn't do that anymore. Damn, heh.
*He laughed more and slowly stopped as he started to cough, this time spitting out a little blood. When Hikaru started applying something cold to his wounds he cringed. It stung badly and it was increasing his pain.*
Ouch, hey, stop that...
*He looked at Clever when she smiled and he smiled as well. He heard her question but couldn't think of answer. He looked at her lips.*
I'd like to kiss you...but I don't think I can move, heh.

*Hikaru looked at Clever a moment. He could probably explain what happened, but he didn't want to speak for Akito right now. He saw that she cared about Akito a great deal. While this hurt him a lot, he continued working on Akito, because he also cared about him a great deal. He tried to ignore Akito's words about him not being a healer, he already knew that, but the comment still hurt him. He shook his head as Akito cringed in pain from the antiseptic.*
Almost done...it will help you Akito.
*He finished cleaning up the would on his head and ear as best he could and now started to wrap him with a new bandage. He wrapped up the part of his head that was scrapped, put on a patch of sorts over his swollen eye, and applied a small bandage around the part of his ear that was cut. It would do for now.*
Hopefully that will stop the bleeding...now let's look at your arm...
*He moved down and took the sling off his arm carefully. It was badly scrapped up and also looked like a knife had slashed him in several places. He looked away for a moment, it was hard to see Akito like this. He wincced at Akito's comment about kissing Clever. This was becoming torture for him.*

*Clever didn't like Akito being so forward this way but she forgave him because of his injuries.*

*Akito rolled his eyes when Hikaru said whatever he was doing would help him. He didn't really believe that, or that he was in need of helping. As Hikaru put on his new bandages Akito cringed in pain a few times. The pressure of putting on the bandages was causing his wounds to hurt for a moment and he didn't like it. When Hikaru mentioned his arm he looked at it. As his wounds were exposed his eye widened. It looked terrible and he quickly laid back.*
W-what happened?
*His breathing started to speed up and he was sweating more now. He was realizing now that he was badly injured and could do nothing about it. He hated that his type of healing did not allow him to heal himself. When Clever spoke he looked at her with scared eyes. Was he being mean to Hikaru? He couldn't tell. Did that mean he was acting strange?*
Am...am I alright?

*Hikaru was surprised at Akito's reaction to seeing his arm and realized that he was now aware of the situation. He didn't know how to answer him though, because he didn't know exactly what had happened. He stayed silent and started to use the gauze and antiseptic to clean the several slashes on his bloody arm. He tired to feel if the bone was broken as well, but couldn't tell right now because he was too afraid to feel his bone. He sighed when Clever spoke, it made it worse that she was trying to stick up for him. He kept his mouth shut and continued to work, trying very hard not to look Akito in the face right now. He knew he would find pain and fear there.*

*Clever reached out and put her hand on his knee, trying to comfort him. It was good that he was coming around. All the blood was getting to her, she felt funny but didn't think to much on it right now. *

*Akito looked at Clever in a confused and scared way. When he placed her hand on his knee he felt a bit of warm comfort, but not much. He ignored Hikaru at this point.*

*Hikaru felt a pain in his heart when he heard Akito's words. He hated the fact that he was in pain right now. It was almost too much for his heart to take at the moment, but he continued on. He cleaned up his arm as best he could and wrapped it with bandages. He unbuckled his jacket and slipped it off, careful not to get blood on it, even though there was already some there. He opened up Akito's shirt now to check for wounds there. He found many dark bruises, but not cuts. That was a relief. He hadn't felt that Akito's arm was broken, but checked now for broken ribs. Finding nothing broken and sighed with relief. Bruises he could deal with. Akito had gotten very lucky. He buttoned his shirt back up and looked at his legs. He slid around Clever and began feeling Akito's legs gently.*
Tell me if that hurts...

*Clever trembled some more then stood up*
"I.. I got to good. Please take care Akito 'ikaru. And get better Akito."
*She stammered back outside, and off into the distance. She wasn't feeling right at all and couldn't cope with Akito being hurt so badly.*

*Akito cringed several times as HIkaru worked on his arm. He coughed as he listened to his question. He was confused by it. He had just said it hurt, why was Hikaru asking again. Then he felt him touching his legs and he understood. He shook his head.*
No...my legs are fine...
*He coughed again and looked at Clever. He was getting dizzy again and found it hard to focus on her. When she stood up he frowned. He had felt a little better with her there. He closed his eyes and felt himself slipping away.*

*Hikaru nodded when Akito said his legs were fine, that was good. He moved back to the kit and was lucky enough to be able to find Akito a bloodless sling. He slipped it on carefully and then heard Clever's words. He frowned just as Akito did. He thought it would help if she was there. He looked at Akito and saw that he wasn't taking her leaving very well. He felt angry at her.*
Don't worry, I'll take care of him.
*He looked at Akito again and saw him slipping away. He quickly went to the kitchen and got a wet washcloth and placed it on Akito's forehead. He then cleaned up all the bloody bandages and put away the first aid kit where he had seen Clever grab it from. He cleaned Akito's old sling too, in case he needed again. He looked at Keira as he did all of this, wondering what she was thinking. He placed it with the kit and returned to Akito's side. He sat on the floor and took Akito's hand in his own, kissing it.*
Your father did this, didn't he? What did you tell them? What upset the elders this much?

*Keira watched the whole thing in silence. She really didn't want to deal with bloody things. She was afrid for Akito, but knew he'd be alright.*
