"Ok, all the fungi and plants on your tray need to be separated into two piles, "edible" and "inedible. You want to separate them into the categories as best you can, put the gloves on that are on your desk to because some of these are poisonous and deadly." He said reciting most of what the teacher said, just shortened up.

"Okay,"Dorothy said and she slipped on the gloves. She had reconized a few of them so she sorted those out first. Then she looked at the rest of the pile and started picking out the ones that she'd eat if she looked at them. Some had an aweful smell so she put them with the inedible. She stared at the rest trying to decide.

Karariv watched Namen leave the room and a few others followed her, before she had a chance to react she was being 'told off' by a student.
She turned to the girl, Mariye was her name.
"They are only poisonus if you ingest them, the reason I bade you all to wear gloves is so that should someone not wash their hands and then eat, they would not accidently ingest small quantities of the dangerous ones. I also have a large stock of all the antidotes needed plus many others availiable to me. I would also remind you that I treat all my students as equals, and that as a head of this school I am to be treated with respect." she was annoyed with Mariye, it came naturally to her, any form of insurbordination.
She noted that the people who followed Namen had returned, but Namen had not.
"Right, I will have to cut this class short for today, instead of doing those notes in class I want you to do them for next lesson. I have matters to which I must attend.

She enchanted the trays with the materials on them and made them follow her out of the room, she took them to an open fire and threw the materials onto the flames. She then went in search of Namen, she needed to discuss the blindness in more detail.

It was not long before she found the girl, with a new teacher.
"Sorry to interrupt like this, but I was teaching the lesson where all this started and I feel I need to deal with the situation that has arisen." she said walking into the room the two were in, "I'm Karariv, one of the three heads of the school." she said to the teacher, "I will admit I knew you were blind, however I have a policy of treating students as equals in lessons, however in combat situations I do value those with higher abilities more, that comes from being in the military. Don't take this the wrong way, the person who taught me how to fight was blind, I've yet to defeat him as well. Believe it or not, being blind is an advantage in many ways. People will always underestimate you, and if you train hard enough, you can make them seriously regret such an underestimation. I can give you the raised text notes you need for the lessons, but unfortunatly, your sight means the chances of you going out into the wilderness is slim. However there are several city dwellers who are looking for bodyguards with exceptionally honed senses: touch and sound being the prefered ones."
She paused, knowing where this was heading.
"I will have to talk to the other heads of school about this, but I know from experience a blind person needs one on one teaching in combat, I am willing to do this, but you will have to work hard in return."
She paused again, "I have already let the class go, however I did notice your tray had the most correct answers out of all of them." she rarely was like that, but in the circumstances, even Karariv could be shown to have a heart. Plus, Namen did have potential, she just needed to train it.

"Biology." He said stacking up his books again, he couldn't count them as he wanted to be the first to the next class. After picking them all up he made his way out of the room and down the hall and nudged the door with his foot to open it up enough to let him in. He set his books on the desk in front of the teachers desk, beginning to take the books off the stack and put them under his desk. After he was down he plopped himself down in his seat and leaned back in it, stretching his back out.

Dorothy followed behind Cario. When they got to the class she said,"You know that you don't have to take all the books." She took the seat next to him,and suddenly she remembered Garetth's class,"Oh by the way, I'm sorry about the way I acted earlier."

Dorothy smiled,"I was just worried that had was going to get mad at me too. I've already caused my own trouble though. I missed 2 classes and I was late for one."
