A slight grin and he went about helping Erik get things picked up, absetnly organizing things. soon there were little stack of papers all realting to a single echo or subject and the like, disks set nicely. Efficient James, years and years of military training showing witht eh acuracy and speed at which he organized everything.
"So Erik. Have you been watching me and Jelena on the cameras? Jelena thought you might be."

Erik was picking things up in his own way, though his thoughts on organizing were different at the moment. While James seemed to go through a one step process, Erik went through two. Pick up things that looked alike and then sort them out. "I did for a little while. After all, have to look out for the bubble head so that she doesn't get herself into trouble."
Jelena...was trying to help. But she was really hating it. And she knew that it wouldn't last long, it never did. Didn't help that as she went though things, she was creating a stack of things that peaked her interest at the moment that she wanted to go over...which was basically almost everything. "Better a bubble head than a block head who gets chased by Echoes all the time."

A light grin, and a glance to Jelena before looking back to Erik.
"So you know that me and Jelena are dating now. Good I don't need to get a brotherly concern lecture about how to treat a woman, right?"
Casual conversation, and a chuckle about the Echoes comment.
"You know, do you really have any idea why all teh echoes think your either a playtoy or food?"

"Actually no, I didn't know that. I don't spy on her room, that is just plain wrong and perverse. Besides, she's like a sister and frankly I wouldn't want to know what my sister was doing behind her own closed doors. And I don't need to lecture you, you've probably already lectured yourself."
"That's comforting I think." She was being a peanut gallery, and she laughed. "I think it's because of all the food her keeps in his pockets." And in due fashion she walked over and reached into his lab vest pocket, pulling out a few plastic wrapped cookies. "See."
Snatch. "Those are mine and I highly doubt that's the reason. I'm beginning to think that they know I pick on you and you know how much they all just love their mother to death. Mess with her once in front of them and I'm branded for life."

"For some, I'm sure. Fenrirs and Hippogriphs..but Dragons..according to all the myths about them, are solitary and greedy. you probably don't evne realize it and get too close to thier 'hoards' and I'm pretty sure the cookies in teh pocket doesn't help."
A slight grin at the room comments.
"So if me and Jelena had done more than just share conversation and a few kisses, you wouldn't care less?"
A slight grin and he could almost feel Jelena debating on wether to slap him or not for that one, but soon enough teh room was all straightened up, well..except for Jelena's pile, and he gave a look to Erik.
"Myself and Jelena have a date for a MAPS session. is there any time soon in the evening yoiu might be able to take over for a few hours for her?"

"Now I didn't say I couldn't care less, I'm just saying that I"m not going to sit there and watch everything that goes on in her room. That's just crossing a line." And he walked over to her, yanking her from her pile as he held her in a headlock now, causing her OODDS to slip off and dangle in the air, held by the cord that connected them to the disk reader in her pocket. "So you were kissing like a bunch of teenagers were you? Oh I have things to tease you about now what a wonderful day." And he went about hugging her, getting her feet off the ground. Then a look back to James. "You see this pile she's created? You'll be lucky if you can get her away from her."
Jelena kicked a little, squirmed some in attempt to get away from Erik, but smiling as she did so. Old games. "Put me down you big idiot. You're gonna break me or my things." Another squirm. "And despite my pile that I have I find MAPS sessions very soothing and interesting, sometimes entertaining." Then she gave a smirk. "And I'm still your boss if I want you to do all my work for me one night, then I can."

James just grinned at the both, and took to leaning on the wall while they played in usual brother/sister fashion. though that massive pile did get a shake of the head and a smirk.
"I coudl get it from her, I'm sure. not like she could stop me if I chose to walk out with it."
A small laugh, and a nod.
"That's right, she's the boss. Hey Jelena...any of the larger Echoes need any attention about now?"

Erik smiled happily and dropped her to her feet on the floor. "Don't even answer that because I have already done ALL of the rounds on ALL the Echoes while you were in your room acting like you were thirteen again. So there, and I have proof." Pulling up his sleeve showed a bandaged forearm.
She huffed at Erik and ran a hand through her hair, smoothing the wrinkles from her clothes, and of course grabbing her OODDS by the cord and pulling them up to her, wiping the screens off before tucking the device into her pocket. "And if you choose to walk out with it, I would go get Rennell." Nice threat. But she looked to Erik's arm with a laugh. "You really need to like...wear something more protective than your shirt when you go in there.

A look of feigned horror.
"Oh dear. not Rennell. blasted happy go lucky mr. sunshine is probably waiting somewhere right now for teh sole purpose to poke, pester and prod over teh website."
Then aglance at Erik's arm.
"you know, I realize that bioware replacements are apparently sexy to have now, but you don't need to be trying to get your arm taking off for one."

Jeleana...all out laughed at that one. Much in a way that people often believed she couldn't, in that carefree manner that James had mentioned earlier. Hey, Jelena liked to have a good laugh. Even had to lean against her desk to support herself. Oh men...
Erik rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "I don't need to become as Trevy calls you all, a biomechanical wonder. I can attract all the ladies I want. Remember when we dated Trevy? You thought I was cute."
"First off we were 'dating' to keep that Shelly girl away from you. I'm just a good actress is all Erik." All play poking but it was still fun. However her attention focused back to James. "Some day, huh?"

"Quite the day. I find out that most of the young women in the fleet wanted me, me and you start dating, and I actually got that rare opportunity to see inside your room. and you managed to talk me into a MAPS session."
A small glance between them both.
"I take it Erik was the one exception to your no dating anyone on the same ship rule?"
A small chuckle, he didn't mind if Erik and her had dated before. That was long past, and this was now..and Jelena Trevale was with him, for now anyway.

"Well James, you stepped into what seems to be a dimensional warp around you. So many new things learned all in one day, how wonderful." She laughed lightly then cast a look to oh so proud Erik. "No, we 'dated' in college, and it wasn't even really dating. I was just the girl he grabbed when Miss Shelly thing walked by or was around."
Erik crossed his arms and huffed at her. "Hey now, you were the one who agreed and you didn't mind our 'dates' either Trevy."
A shrug. "I got free food and a movie out of it, what's not to mind. Of course you make it awkward with the name thing."
"So I like to call you Trevy. What would you prefer Jelly? Leny? Lena, Jel?" He shook his head and laughed, giving a look to James. "I wish you luck with this one. See if you can actually stand against her."

James grinned lightly at Erik, and made a display of fidgiting with his bioware hand. perhaps, however unlikely, tht Erik had actually seen...that...he might get a bit of the meaning.
"I'm sure I have a few tricks that can keep her well entertained. not to mention she'll have years of things to poke and ridicule about I'm sure during this MAPS session I got talked into."
A smirk at Erik.
"I'm a man of the military. I've seen the worst places and people the earth had to offer I'm sure I cn handle Jelena Trevale."

Erik just snickered. "Yeah...keep the one who's brain wanders entertained. I'll believe that when I see it." And he walked over to Jelena, patting her on the head in the most annoying fashion. "Though if you get her babbling she'll entertain herself for a good hour." Then a raised eyebrow at the mention of the MAPS session again. "You do know how vengeful she can be right?" He then got his hand swatted. "Well then prepare yourself for battle." And Erik gave a smirk to Jelena before walking away from the two of them. "I have to go give Hoshi her injections. She's on the sick side today so when you get the chance, come take a look seeing as you know these things better than anyone." That said he PAID tagged his way into the back.
Jelena's face held that little concerned look over the mention of the variant but she sighed and shook her head, crossing her arms after she had smoothed down her hair once more. "You seem to think your MAPS display is going to be quite incriminating James. How do you know that you won't find equally good information from mine?"

A tap on his temple.
"..That are going to give you enough teasing ammunition for years. And what can I say, I tend to talk about things that make me nervous more than normal. this is probably the first time since I got this augments, that somone besides Jessica is going to get to look around in part of my head."
