I was involved in the first band-lation of the year. What was it, two weeks after school restarted? Yup. Only lasted about a month, though. Now there are various others in band-lations.

well i'm personally in a band-lationship (person plays the same instruemnt as me - trombone) and we both started in the woodwinds (me- clarinets him-saxaphone) XD i have wierd friends and one them is like making a story on how everyone in band is realted to each other and where we live and stuff like that... this is what we do when we are bored... n e ways there are alot of band-lationships that are in the band and most of then don't last very long... but only a few do last pretty long ^^

We've had many "band-lationships" (Like my director tells us every year, bandos tend to date bandos). My first boyfriend was actually a clarinet player in marching band. I would like to be in a band-lationship with a certain someone else in the band, but that's another story...^^;;;

well i dated my drum major the entire marching season... that was pretty interesting. not anymore though. we have 2 tenor sax players who have been together for a good amount of time... they're the center of a lot of our jokes during marhcing season (partly because they've both been coming to class pretty late every morning...) and then theres Matt and Mellissa.. Matts my senior second chair and mellissa is a clarinet in marching season only. we were doing major, relative minor scales... and our band teacher called on matt when he was turned around talking.. and asked him "which minor do you like best, matt?" and my ex, dan, and chris(tenor), stephen (tuba), john(alto) all cried MELISSA!" we were all cracking up. (matts 18... mellissas 17 or sometihng) yeah

in my we also have the term "bandcest" which also applys to the tenors in the above post. Band-cest: the act of engaging in intimate relationships with someone of the same instrument. (but not the same section cool )

Alot of people in my band would swear I'm in a bandlationship, me and a french horn girl. People will come up and ask one of us if we're going out. We even started a list. We're at 18 right now, but I'm pretty sure it'll break 20.

ooo... i'll count all the ones we've had this year... 5... wow thats pathetic. but we also count all the bandies who date non bandies and we'd have like 14then. which is still pathetic and we only count those for compensation.

i tried to get into a bandlationship but the girls didn't seem to great. teh gaurdies were kinda wild. and the normal band members were kinda hard to talk to. i tried to ask someon out recently. but she said she wasn't ready i respect that. i feel i shouldn't ask anyone out right now. or til my sr year.

Sinsa (I'm new here btw) Most bands have at least 1 pair of kids who are in a relationship, in our band we call it a "Band-lationship". Now, we had one band-lationship in our highschool band last year, now, at retreat girls can't go into guys cabins and guys can't go into girls cabins (god only knows what happend to cause that). While I wasn't in highschool when this happend I was in jazz band with these 2 kids and they really did go at it (silly altos). Since then these 2 have gone diffrent ways (the chick quit band) and up till now there hasnt been a "Band-lationship". Now I am going out with the bass trombone and we are the "Band-lationship". He sits right next to me in band, both Jazz and stage (I play bass clarinet in stage and trombone in jazz) so we are the butts of many jokes. Now, onto my actual topic, do you have a "band-lationship" in your band? If so has anything funny or annoying happend from it at retreat, camp, tour, or concerts? Damn that was long.... i understand you because i am also in a banlationship but there is one other pair so we aren't picked on as much ... i hate living in a small town gonk
