There is no reason to question his being a mod.
He does more of the technical aspects of thread organizing and making, when amazingly, no one else wants to. He also intelligently participates in all meetings that take place.
He has hardly done anything to abuse his status expect for what happened between him, Reiko and Kraun, which is another matter in its entirety.
Shouyin, like most of the other mods, was brought on board through my urging because of the different talents they bring in.
No one voiced dissent when I first brought him in, so why now when he's been given a time out by Kraun (which lost Kraun his Vice Captainship) ?

Edwin, thats not what I asked. I didn't ask why you brought him on board.
I asked what bringing him onboard will bring to the guild, and what beneficial things will come of it. As I said, adding a mod without them being beneficial to the guild as a whole is a bad investment.
So, until I can get an answer to those questions, I believe there is reason for me to question his reinstatement.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the point is that he never should've lost his modship in the first place. In that case, reinstating him is only correcting an earlier error. It should require active proof that he shouldn't be a mod on the part of someone questioning his reinstatement, rather than proof on the part of Shouyin or the other mods as to why he should, to dispute the action.

I suggest a pre-negotiation thread for people rping armies (me and others in the future) sweatdrop can go, announce their intentions OOCly, and discuss terms for the battle so that it can function as neatly as possible and everyone can be involved. That way, say if I'd decide to send my army to any other thread, I could find out what people thought and work out a way that few people possible feel put out or steamrolled by such as an event. It would also be a way to find out if its a bad idea to send an army into a certain thread.
That way everything can be ironed out in a civil way before anything like the previous imbroglio ensues again.

damian is correct. he was only demodded so that he could be banned. he still maintains his mod status, since his being a mod was never in question.

Someone re-modded him already anyway. So it appears you all will do as you please regardless of what is said earlier.
I was under the impression that Enki was waiting to come back to make the decision himself. Clearly, I was mistaken.

You were mistaken. He was reinstated as soon as we realized there was an error to correct. However, asking "why should Ryugi be allowed to post in the guild" shouldn't be a question we all ask the person that accepted you in, should it?
You don't get fired from your job because you made a mistake and had to stay home for a day due to injury.
Unless you work for an a*****e, that is.
MDG, that will likely be the case once we finish up here. Excellent suggestion.

I actually agree with this... ... to an extent. ------------------------------- And I don't believe any changes in modship or.. any demoting or any of that stuff should occur. And this is coming from a guy who's probably been banned the most in the whole entire guild.. while still being an .. well "active" isn't the right word. "Contributing" isnt really the word either... I guess "key member?" I think Kraun does a fine moderating job since his name was mentioned. He passes judgement objectively in most cases that I've seen (and in ones that I've been involved in) and he's not really the type to be swayed. Everyone here at this place has "grown up" in a way. I cause less trouble. I also don't raise hell when I'm banned because I usually knew what I was doing was gonna lead to it (sometimes it's my intention) and I take responsibility for it. --- I don't even think anything about it when I get banned from here now. I mean geez. I mean I was reading and it kinda sounded like people were coming to my defense. I'm sitting here thinking "What? It was a 24 hour ban... it's not a big deal or anything to dwell on." Other people Kasuga, Shouyin... whoever else.. have grown also and think things out more without RAW EMOTION that this place used to be supar charged with. -------------------------------- I still suggest Ryugi's complaints be limited to once a week. And he has to get them all in one post. No larger than 10 lines. ---------------------------------- These arguements are AWESOME. Keep it up guys!

I suggest that from now on, when someone leaves to go to bed. Instead of "hitting the hay" they "hit the Ryugi" As demonstrated in this real live quote from a "hitting the Ryugi" in action.. Mr. Crawley Yay. Alright I'm tired. I think it's time to hit the Ryugi. *hits Ryugi then goes to sleep* I think it's a fantastic idea that we can all embrace and utilize to bring us closer together as a Leviathan family. Another example could be "Alright guys I'm hitting the Ryugi *hits Ryugi then goes to sleep* Also, "hitting the Ryugi" should be a tradition for new members to take part in.

Intro:
It has been stated multiple times by various people that the bio thread be changed so that it is easier for the guild to function. This is not a suggestion that we should do that, it's a suggestion as to how.
As some people know leviathan has a website, or rather, has a corpse that can be a website if someone other than Kana gave it any attention. That is a literal directory.
USE IT. Now to practically demonstrate.
It is in alphabetical Order. Rather than simply requiring someone post thier IC bios in the Bio thread, put a large, or flashing or something else to show them that they NEED, not should, NEED to send thier bios to Kana or someone else in control of the Website. That way, say you want to look up something on Shouyin, you go to S, click it, you scroll down and by god there is shouyins link showing his profile.
Now, I'm sure it's been suggested before but if I don't solve the problem, please tell me the problem with making this work?
One problem might be that everyone will send thier Profiles to Kana at once, why don't we have more than one person in control of it until we can balance out all the incoming profiles so Kana doesn't get pm-death.
Not only is it a separate directory, where you don't have to muck through countless pages to find what you want, but it can host IC bios, Information of major guild storyline, and A MAP. hell, it can even throw in links to the names of the places so you don't have to go through all the sub forums, like what ed has in the directory in the Main hub, but on the site, and updated every now and Then.
It's a multi-tool no one is using. And I can't quite see why. If you know, please tell me.

People are seeming to suddenly have a trend of treating various people like crap.
Ryugi made a comment/argument that seemed to hit a nerve, but that doesn't mean to treat him like crap, nor does it mean mock him like he's an idiot. Ryugi isn't an idiot. Don't treat him like it, just like don't treat others like idiots in this guild. which runs in a full circle back to the treatment in the guild.
My suggestion, if your going to make an a*****e remark, step away from the keyboard and shut up, there's no need.

However, the website is currently being redone to better serve the consumer Levite.
