Akira looked over at Kashi, she was devestated that she had made him sad. She put her weapon away and picked her way over to him. When she stood in front of him, she lifted both arms in a petition to be picked up.
Lotus stumbled out of the boat onto the sand and looked around. Only the beach and trees were visible from where she was. She pulled the boat further up on the beach and took out her belongings, including the extra sword she'd been carrying around with her. She had never seen the blade, it was the last one made by her father and she was very surprised to find it...even more so, who it was for. She looked down at herself and found she had already disguised herself, along with her aura and the feeling of lost time came back again, What had happened before she had fallen asleep? She shrugged the question off, not finding an answer and started to move up the beach.

Kashi smiled at the little girl and lifted her up to his side. He didn't seem bothered by her and nodd3ed a bit. "Well little Akira...where would you like to go? We shall be off since I'm done in this town. Wherever you want to go. Maybe training eh?" He chuckles and walks toward the door carrying the girl in his arms.
Sakura smiled as he walked from the hut, the guard smiling after them and giving a small wave. He would then go back to prepare the room for another hurt person if there was anyone. Sakura walked with Yumi slowly and then stated, more to himself it seemed than to her, "I'm hungry...I wonder where some food could be wrought from." He turned, his directions impecable as he walked into a ladies' house.
"Hello Ma'am...you wouldn't happen to have any food this morning would you?" Sakura smiled, his head poked in as he awaited a verdict.
The woman smiled back, "You're lucky Sakura-san, I was just about to throw out some food. Here you are." She hands him the food and he takes it with a small bow. "Thank you very much Kani-dono." He walked from the house eating the meal quickly before he came to what looked like a training ground. He sat down on a stump and smiled up at Yumi.
"I slept well, heard some, dreamt oddly, and enjoyed myself immensely. And what about you?" He smiled, tilting his head to look at her with almost...a childish playfulness on his face. Maybe this was someplace where he could be totally free and happy. "Oh, and Lotus-dono is on the island. She isn't hard to pick out. She'll probably be here in a day or two. She has forgotten the way more likely than not. She is that girl whom was chasing us. Fortunately she didn't achieve that first dream." He smiled still, not seeming to mind this news that he himself spouted.

Lotus was sitting by herself. She couldn't help but feel happy in such a gorgeous place as this! She wished she coudl stay here, no worries, no anxiety, no....She stopped herself from thinking the next thing. She was by herself but her face grew hot and she growled. She had refilled her canteen, she took a drink of water and walked on.
Akira tucked her head under Kashi's chin comfortably and closed her eyes, saying nothing, as usual.

Kashi walked from the inn leaving the town, with a grace and power that was unknown to most, if not all these people. His eyes examining the area before he turned moving along toward a new city. Maybe for new jobs, but he was at least gone. Maybe...maybe he would take this girl Akira up to teach her how to fight, learn, and resist. She would need it one day...

Akira had fallen asleep and now she grumbled a bit, her thumb in her mouth and shifted a bit before sighing and becoming still again.

"Oh... at least I dreamed a lot and the bed was comfortable." Not giving any more detailed answer Yumi moved on to another topic.
"So who is this Lotus girl? How did you meet her? And why does she so desperately want to see you and even more important, why don't you let her see you?" Chaos was being weird now, obviously the island changed him. Maybe this was his most favorite place to be?

Sakura nodded a bit and put his two blades in front of him and leaned onto them slightly. "Eh...I've known her since Chaos killed her father as his first kill for the Meiji. He was a Shinsenguimi official if I remember right. Why she's after me? I don't know. Why she's after Chaos? To probably see him or kill him. She was Chaos' apprentice for a bit, and now I suppose she's after one of those two objectives."
Sakura rolled backwards and off the stump, using his blades to push himself up into a handstand. He looks up at her, moving just enough to compensate. He was smiling wide, just like a child. He tilted his head a bit as he watched her. "What about you Yumi. Why did you come to this island. Oh, and just to let you know Chaos isn't very fond of you...he hasn't been since you killed his wife, leaving him and his son with nothing." His grey...no...his hazel eyes sparkled with a light unnormal to Chaos. Was this at all the same person?

Why is he talking about himself in such a weird way... this is seriously weird. Very weird... is he crazy? Weird... extremely weird... Yumi stared at Ch... Sakura? No... this is still only one person, even though he is as weird as to have two personalities.
"I killed his wife, eh? You sure it was me? It could just as well have been someone else..." Yumi smirked, no, she didn't regret killing the people on this island. It was an order, it had to be done sooner or later. Anyways, Yumi didn't usually regret anything, it was as if this feeling just didn't exist. Yumi had simply forgotten what it felt like to regret something.
"Why I came here? I was bored and curious... after all the most skilled fighters are all from this island... or at least that's what they say."

Sakura lets himself down slowly from the position he had just been holding behind the stump. "Hai...he watched you. The memories are etched in the brain. We can both access them. He wouldn't kill you though. Despite that. He cares too much for you. What about you Yumi-dono. Do you care for Chaos? I won't ask about me, since after all you don't know me very well. And realize that all the fighters that are now left Yumi-dono...could kill you. That guard in that room guarding me? His main weapon isn't the odachi...
"He killed well over 30 of your men with that weapon though. It is good for large groups." He grinned like a child and turned beginning to walk into the forest along a trail.

"I know that... but I still took the risk. I happen to like the feeling of being in danger, it just gives me energy." Sitting down Yumi wrapped her arms around her feet.
"Do I like Chaos? I don't know... I mean I don't really know him that well. But he's very interesting, very different. He's simply fun to be with." Yumi still didn't understand how it could be possible for a person to be two persons like Chaos and Sakura. She even found it hard to accept.

He smiles and nods a bit stretching slightly. "Well, I won't tell him alright? Would you like to train any? Or meet people from the village?" He smiles softly tilting his head to the side like a child. His eyes sparkling with happiness. It was so odd to see in a man like him. One that had killed so many people acting like a child...was this...dual personality the result of breaking from pressure?

(( Sorry to say this, but I'm leaving for my summer cottage today, I'll be back on tuesday evening... then I'll be leaving again on friday and coming back on sunday...))
"Oh thank you Sakura. Hmm... I think meeting people here on the island could be fun. Since I didn't exactly have time to greet people at my last visit. You know everyone on this island?" Yumi already prepared for the angry looks she might get, but didn't care. She was here now, so why would she worry anymore, if something happened then something happened.

Sakura nodded and walked back to sit down on the stump. "Hai, I do, and I know what you're thinking, they don't like me. Well in a sense they don't, but they trust you because I brought you here. They have already accepted you since you aren't dead." He grinned and looked up at the sky. "Things are moving, and not all are good."
Kashi had travelled a good distance during that first part of the day. He gently tapped Akira's head as they approached a new town. "Wake up little Akira. We've almost arrived for lunch." He smiles, his eyes forward as he walks, as if with a purpose.

Yumi could do nothing but wonder what Chaos had meant with his last sentence.
"Why don't they like you? And why did they accept me? I simply don't understand the way these people think. They seem to try to shut themselves out from the world around them, even though they're all very aware that it's impossible to do so.They're clinging to their old traditions and habits and thinking they'll somehow survive. But it's impossible. I see no future for this island. The last attack will probably not be the last one, in the end the island will be forced to change."

((If its alright, I'm going to have Lotus find the village but not arrive yet.))
Lotus didn't know how long she walked but she knew that she hadn't stopped walking for awhile. She moved like someone dead on their feet, watchign the ground in front of her, he breath a bit ragged. She approachd a break in the trees adn somethign told her to look up. She did as her instincts instructed and she spotted, in the distance, the tops of rooves. She smiled a bit and continued walking.
Akira groaned into wakefullness. She rubbed her eyes adn looked around. She didn't recognize her surroundings in the haze of sleep but she was hungry and the mention of food made her squirm to be let down.
