Remus's respect grew for her yet again. He allowed himself to be examined. Finding no more than bruises, the doctor gave him a small tablet for the pain and moved back to Lina.

Lina lifted her leg slightly, and watched silently as the doctors checked on her ankle, touching it slightly to check if it was more than bruised. She growled lightly but shook her head as she felt nothing, but the usualy pain. The doctor merely cleaned the small cuts on the ankle and gave her a smaller pill to ease the pain. They then left quickly to move on to more seriously hurt patients.
Lina watched them before turning back to Remus, popping the pill in her mouth before standing up, "Shall we go?"

Remus stood up as well. "Unless we have some other for being here." He took his own pill. and limped towards her, still leaning on his cane while he waited for the pill to take effect. "Shall we?" He motioned to the door.

"We shall," Lina replied, offering him her arms, "Do you wish to lean on me until the pill settles in, or shall we wait?"

"Thank you, I'll be fine in a minute," Remus said, taking her proffered arm. He pushed the door open with his cane and they left. After a short while, he let go of her arm and supported himself.

Lina watched him silently before moving to a second part of the base only a few people got into. She motioned for Remus to follow her as she walked, "I am going to take you to a place few know of. It is where the book I told you of lies."

Remus nodded silently, somewhat taken aback that she seemed to trust him so readily after such a short time. He followed her, cane ticking against the floor as he moved.

Lina looked straight ahead, her mind wrestling with her thoughts as she continued to moved forward. Remus was the only lycan in the organization, and one of the few who seemed trustworthy...but it was so soon. Soemthing in her mind told her it was the right thing to do. A fello warrior must know what he or she is dealing with... A grim smile came upon her face as she watched as a small symbol grew as she came closer. It was the symbol of the ten leaders.

Unease rested in Remus's mind. He felt dwarfed by the power in this area. He followed Lina obediantly, but cautiously. His senses seemed to sharpen as they traversed towards the symbol. He felt an urge to shift shape but ignored it.

As they moved closer, the symbol began to glow a pale purple light, illuminating the two ans the surrounding areas. Lina raised her right hand, an orb of pale blue light floating infront of it. The purple light slowly brightened until it slowly returned to its first brightness. All that was different now was the pale blue ball had now turned as dark as sapphires and the symbol had disappeared and left a large room behind. An alter stood in th emiddle of the room where a book lay opened for all to see, "Go and look inside Remus." Lina said reverently, as if the leaders were rigth in front of her.

Remus nodded again, too awed by what he saw to speak. As he crossed the threshold, he unwillingly changed shape to his hybrid form. It was as though the room wouldn't let him be anything other than what he was.
He approached the alter and lowered his head. Climbing the steps, he could smell the pages of the ancient tome. He looked down into the pages of the book. He shivered slightly.

Lina felt herself become weak, so much so that she leaned against the wall for support. Soon, she sitting on the floor, unconscious as the bookglowed letting words appear on the page and the picture of the tenth Leader form. It 'spoke' of the Leader known as Lotan, ruler over half of the lycan clan and his exploits, from the beginnings to the end, when he reluctantly left with the others. The book turned on its own, revealing part of the riddle Lina had spoke of:When the moon opens its bloody eye,
And an ancient trees's deathly hold reliquishes its earthly tomb
Shall a fellow hunter give it's calling cry
To awaken Lotan from his stone womb...
Then the book closed shut, leaving the powerful aura as company.

Remus could hear his heartbeat as the magic took effect. Images flashed in his mind. Lotan, leader of many lycan clans... His pupils contracted and his iris turned a brighter than normal yellow. He listened to the riddle and saw it's meaning clear as day. As rapidly as it had come, the magic vanished. As though in a trance, Remus turned from the altar and left the room.
Seeing Lina unconcious, Remus picked her up and carried her back out of the sanctuary and back into the normal base. His eyes still seemed to glow more than normal in his hybrid state, and he still seemed in something of a trance.

Rikku slowly walked through the city streets avoiding as many as she could. Thinking quietly to herself, barely paying attention to where she was going.
