Padfoot_Freak RinoaHeartilly __penguin__ OMG. It's a saxophone in the flute section! eek I've always wondered this about flutes... Why is the flute considered such a girly instrument? I don't get it... It's considered such a girly instrument because people choose to think about it that way. Sounds about right to me.(the reason, not the actual thin about the fulte being a girly instrument) Like the fact people look at pink as girly, and blue as a boy color. Then again it's perfectly ok for a girl to like(wear) blue but when a guy wears it, it's weird. There's tons of guys that are wearing pink at my school. Even the DM wears pink. He wore the same pink shirt two times in one week. It's some new fad at my school. xd

XD Yay for saxes! *coughs* I play both. xp Anyway, I suppose it's considered girly because it's so small and delicate, I guess. *shrugs* I dunno. There's probably some long historical/psychological reason for it, but I can't think that hard. XDD

RinoaHeartilly Our Pep Band doesn't play at away games, only the home games. We usually don't play at away games, but playoffs are different. For playoffs, both bands go to the game. How that's gonna work, I don't know. I just know that's what our BD said.

Miangel Kishoku Hokorashii Yeap. Reeds are fun sometimes, but our clarinet and saxaphone players constantly leave their reeds lying around, which doesn't help at all. One time a guy threw his reed at a flutist. And I just don't want to go through the trouble to buy a new reed every year and all. With the flute, you don't have to really get anything extra. xp Hmmm. I never see reeds lying around. I guess we're just responsible. XD Or something. And a new reed every year? Hah, I wish. Try a new box around every six months. ^^ I guess that IS a good thing about flutes. No extra equipment. Just the flute. Yeap! That's 1/10 of the reason why I picked it.

And I was learning my brother's trumpet while he had one. And I want to learn french horn. But I still love flute. *huggles flute* Anything you blow air into is good enough for me, actually. xp

*sneaks in* I played flute for 9 years and piccolo for 5... It gets hard to play when you're not a music major. I just don't have the competitive edge. Nor the ability to practice twisted
I miss being in band neutral

i know everything *sneaks in* I played flute for 9 years and piccolo for 5... It gets hard to play when you're not a music major. I just don't have the competitive edge. Nor the ability to practice twisted I miss being in band neutral I could never quit playing. Ever. Thank goodness I'm gonna be a music major. XD I've had weeks where my practicing totaled close to 10 hours (not ALL on flute, some was on sax, but still).
