"Youre ready to do it again? That's great. Any time that you would like to start I am willing to go." He grinned at Phia and took his arms from around her, walking towards Derrek. "If we do, you wanna go to the training room like with the kids?"

*The strange woman stood on the opposite side of the lake from the Mansion with her lifeless eyes gazing at it. Her gaze would likely have been called intent, but because of that lifelessness, it was only eerie. The time is coming. she would think to herself. Yes it will be soon now.*

"Almost time for what?" said Truinthil, stepping out of the forest behind the woman. "You think too loudly you know. I could hear that half a mile away. If Draeken is in there and paying attention, likely he heard it too." With a sigh, Truinthil leapt into a tree near the edge of the lake to stare at the mansion himself. "So who are you anyway? I've tried keeping an eye on your movements, but it's very difficult."

*The woman was startled. She had allowed herself to get too deep into thought. That wouldnt bode well in the future. She would fix that.*

What I do here is of no concern to you and neither is who I am. Also, I have no desire to get to know such a simple being as yourself.

*She then looked at Truinthil with as interested a look as her lifeless eyes could give. There was something working in her mind about him, but what it was would not be known to anyone but her. She had shut her mind off from the rest of the world now. She would no longer allow others to read her mind either. That was dangerous.*

"Then I don like you either." Truinthil said matter of factly. "I will suggest, though, that you leave here. The people in that building there are my targets. I will not have any interference." The comment on his being simple, he would ignore. For now.

Fine. It does not matter to me. I will not interfere, however. At least not in any way that you would think.

*She turned her gaze back to the Mansion for a few more minutes, then simply vanished, a rippling in the air being left behind.*

"What a stuck up b***h. I should have killed her without speaking to her. Would have saved time." Truinthil looked around himself for a bit then shrugged. "I'm sure I'll get the chance soon enough. There is something just wrong about her." Without sparing one more glance towards the mansion, Truinthil faded into the darkness and was gone.

Derrek nodded. During his research, he had stumbled across some things that would work well into the seals for the ritual. "Give me a while to get ready and we can get started. Oh, but first, do you have any chalk? I'm going to need quite a bit."

Lady Phia

Phia pulled a hand in the air. "Ah! Yes! One mineut." She walked to her tables by the window and rummaged in a drawer, pulling out a rather large piece she walked back and handed it to him. "'ere Ya go..." She smiled softly. "I'm gonna go study, ask if ye need anything..." She walked away from the two and sat down, moving aside a few books and picking up a stack of papers, they rippled and a green magic crackled across them. The papers turned into a worn leather bound book, Phi flipped open the cover and picked up a glass quill and dipped it in ink, and she started writing of her past few days of being alive again.

Eva and Company would start to appear from the far-off distance. They would be coming up tword the lake, and to enter the boat soon.

She stopped before getting in, and turned around to the drone.

"Hey, you can't come with... The lake would make you all rusty if you sunk..."

Eva patted the drone on it's shell, and smiled.

He had just about been to ask Phia about the chalk when she was already retrieving a piece. Draeken laughed and shook his head. "Alright then. I'll be in the training room whenever you're ready Derrek." Before he left, however, he watched Phia go to her tables by the window with a small smile on his lips. Then, without any hesitation, he disappeared into the shadows, heading for the training room.

"Right then. I'll head over then." Derrek said to the disappearing figure of Draeken. Derrek turned back to the table and gathered his stuff together, organizing it into piles to continue with later. Then, after a quick goodbye to Phia, Derrek walked to the training room, expecting Draeken to be there already.

Indeed Draeken already was there, sitting in the center of the room with his eyes closed. He was preparing himself, that much was certain. Yet, there was an air of calmness about him that even Ayiana had not attained when she began.

Without opening his eyes, he spoke to Derrek, "Go ahead and begin whenever you are ready. I am prepared. I hope." He grinned at that last statement.

Derrek said nothing. He simply set the chalk on the ground and began tracing the circles and figures around Draeken. There were many more than those around Ayiana. This was because Draeken (Derrek assumed) had more power and would thus need more containment should things go haywire. Once the circles, the chain in a square (as it was for Ayiana), and the floating cloths were in place once again, Derrek went to a corner of the room and picked up five items he'd stored there before. While wandering the mansion after spending some time researching in the library, he'd found some objects around to aid in the spell. Walking around the circle, he drove weapons into the floor around the circle. In the lower right, he drove a ceremonial sword inlaid with ruby jewels. In the upper right, a halberd (stolen from a suit of armor) with a head and a haft made of Damascus steel. The lower left was a curved sword of transparant metal designed both for melee combat and throwing. A mace of steel stood on its head in the upper left. A metal whip trailed off the end of the jade hilt of a dagger stuck in the peak of the star. Sitting before that, Draeken drew a chalk circle around himself and raised the binding orb above his head. This binding would be more difficult, so with three breaths to steady himself, he reached forward, leaving the orb floating above his head, and drew forth Draeken's knot.

At Eva's comment, the drone seemed to nearly pout as it's body heaved. A long low beep of disapoint would be heard, slowly dying off as though the mechanism had run out of power. The drone wasn't really sad to be left behind, though for some reason it's thought patterns had skipped a beat. A most unnusual reaction, one it would have to later examine.

Still, the lenses looked at Eva and company, as well as the lake and what lay around it. Indeed, the towering drone would be much too large for the small boat that would ferry them to their destination. The drone might try walking under the lake, but KB hadn't designed it for such events. It seemed for the moment the drone truly was going to have to be left behind.
