▱▰▱ As Yogen watched and enjoyed the carnage being perpetrated by Botenmaru, Satoshi returned back to his friends. He managed to keep his emotions from seeing his mother under wraps as he returned to his seat on the bench between Soyeon and Takao. He only caught the tail end of their conversation as he returned his book to his backpack. He was glad that Soyeon and Takao were game for his idea. The problem was that they were unable to leave the village without a supervisor as genin titled shinobi. He sat quietly and was unable to jump back into the conversation as he considered what the prophecy of his life said and where he might be at this point in it. Once the enchantress sleeps forever in the light he will be granted protection and power from the Trident Shell. The prince will rise but only when he falls. The seas will be his domain until he finds the Rain. Satoshi repeated a portion of the prophecy he was told internally. As he continued in silent contemplation he grew frustrated. But what be the meaning of any of this?! He was practically screaming internally as he tried to reason through it. Satoshi's thoughts raced as he repeated that portion of the prophecy he thought he was on over and over in his mind. He will cloak the Rain in the same shroud he was born into and become a king of lies. Deception will give him passage to join the father in the dark realm for eternity. He recalled the rest of the prophecy that he had memorized. It was like fitting a puzzle together but instead, it was the arduous trying to ascertain the meaning of his own fate. Suddenly, it all made sense to him. "But that be the point of fate, Soyeon. Yee cannot escape it. Even if you thought you avoided it or that you made a different choice, it still comes to yee. It be...beautiful...in a way. That means that your life isn't random. Even if you can't make choices you still have a purpose and that be your fate." Satoshi's determinism rang loudly through in response to Soyeon's questions. Now that he felt that he had the answer to his own prophecy he would speak again. "The next part of my prophecy be...to live on the seas and the rain, the sky. I'll rise but only when I fall...from the flying village. That must mean that we need to take a ship that can fly and sail and then...leave Arashigakure for good." Satoshi reasoned as much as he could and made a bold prediction that felt right in his gut. His plan was now to take a flying galleon and leave Arashigakure forever because his prophecy demanded it. Satoshi allowed that thought to sink in for his company. Maybe Soyeon and Takao would think he was crazy for suggesting that they take a ship and go rogue, but right now he did not worry about being judged. If that was his fate then it was going to happen either way. "Tink about it, if we take a ship then we can go anywhere we want. No one be able to stop us. There's a big world out there with treasures of men and gods." Satoshi's serious and quiet demeanor changed to one of excitement as he considered the possibilities. There was no use in him staying in Arashi, especially with the massive secret hanging over his head. Plus the fact that he needed to fulfill his prophecy! He only hoped that Soyeon, Takao, and maybe even Botenmaru and some others would join him.

'So what? Everyone has their secrets. It might be a harmless kid thing.' Takao didn't share Chomei's suspicions. After what he'd learned, the glimpses of Chomei's previous jinchuuriki, it was easy to see why he would be distrusting of humans. Takao, however, had no reason to feel that way. "I'm not an expert on fate. I believe everything happens for a reason, but I don't think any of us can be privy to that reason."
He pondered on the subject until Satoshi returned and started saying all this cryptic stuff. A prophecy? He couldn't blame the kids; he went through his witchy-magic phase as a kid like everyone else. But these kids were magically older than they actually were, though Takao was familiar with the way time could be effected by powerful jutsu. 'I can't let them do this. They're going to get hurt trying to go on this adventure.'
Chomei was obsessed with the idea of the open air; the floating village was always teasing him with being carried by the wind, but taking an airship would actually let him be free. And he was so, so tired of being chained up or sealed up or grounded. 'No, no, Takao. We should go with them so we can help them when things get dangerous. Then you bring the airship back and the Arashikage is so impressed he gives you that promotion to chunin you want.'
Takao thought it over for a few moments. "Okay. Yeah! Let's do it."

The user's speed and reflex when wielding a small weapon is increased by a slight amount. • [ Sobagai Deba Sentou ] After each technique, light shines in the opponent's eyes and reduces their reflexes for that turn equal to the rank of the technique used by the practitioner. • [ Sobagai Deba Sentou ] Once per post, the user may use a single D-Rank or lower technique involving small weapons without paying the cost. Avalanche felt their jaw drop when Kaito asked for follow up questions about what they thought they needed from Satoshi. Naturally the vigilante tried to compose themselves and feign knowledge. "Well, naturally we need them to be able about to..." Their voice trailed. They looked at Kaito with a glance which told him that nothing intelligible was coming his way any time soon. "I mean it's so clear to see that..." They tried once again to sound forward thinking, but once again managed to dig himself into an early grave. "Oh I don't know!" They said with a kick of some of the equipment. "How hard can it be to find one sensor or Yamanaka who wants to stop corruption?!" They shouted at the top of their lungs. Despite this outburst, it was only because it was with Kaito that they felt so comfortable to express their frustration. It may have taken them a while to admit that they didn't know anything, but with Kaito it only took a few claims of knowledge and a slight temper tantrum.
"Did you say you needed a yamanaka?" A voice came suddenly from the ladder which the two climbed up to reach the attic. Avalanche shrieked in a nonmasculine manner as they drew their sword and manifested their chakra cloak around it. "Who dares overhears us!" They said as they moved suddenly to the ladder and looked down at the potential threat. Naturally a cowering intern was at the base of the stairs. "I mean no harm! I just know that my therapist is a Yamanaka. She's really good if you want to talk to her." He said sheepishly. He then looked up at Avalanche, who had their sword at their side. "You do think you may need some therapy, right?"
The comment was all that needed to be said for Avalanche to swing their blade down upon him. There was a comedic shriek and groan along with a cloud of smoke which signaled that he was still alive. "I DO NOT NEED THERAPY!" Avalanche shouted as they closed the entrance to the attic, which involuntarily locked them upstairs. They then sheathed their blade and looked away, completely in a blush. "Can you believe how rude he was?" They said embarrassed.
Meanwhile, from across the field, Double Trouble's pupils went white as the strike impacted her from under her breast. As an involuntary reaction a heaping of breast milk shot out from behind her robes and would attempt to stain the man's armor. The unconscious spewing shot was enough to knock her away several dozen feet from impact. It was then that Oatmeal return, with a circle of her fellow clones around Botenmaru. Their right hands were raised in front of them and imbued with flames. In complete synchronicity with one another, all twelve of the Oatmeal selves arched their a** into the air and allowed the clap of their asscheeks to resonate as one, unified harmony. It was then that the girls all swung their arms in a diagonal slash against Botenmaru. The Korabo unison they shared from the a** clap was enough to sync the flames into one phallic, towering sensation of flames. At the very tip fired off burst of embers which spewed harmlessly around the area. No matter how strong this boy was, his whims of winning would be defeated by the sisters of fate and their secret harem fighting style.
The Korabo counts as 3-S-ranked techniques used in unison, providing 3 doses of tier four burning.

__ Fooling a ninja had been easier than he had thought. Of course to be fair it was probably because he wasn't as experienced as the other Jounin yet, didn't have time to come into his full power. Regardless this was his chance to finally learn that closely guarded secret he had coveted for so long, ninjutsu. With a revered hand Tetsu pulled free the clasp on his dreams and set eyes for the very first time on the scrolls that he had 'borrowed' from Satoshi. It was maruton that drew his attention first if only because his father had already taught him a little of it. 1
After reading a few words it was clear that it was written for someone who had already held an understanding of ninjutsu. Tetsu ignored this fact and did his best to learn from context clues. It was a rough go at it and many of the runic writing still had him perplexed, but slowly he started to get the gist of it. 2
Things like barrier shattering, which drew power from passing through others. As well as modified fighting styles that used chakra to alter the way the body could fight were all interesting in their own rights and had Tetsu in awe. 3
He of course had known the difference between the strength of ninja and the common folk, it was as plain as day. But to see the difference with his own eyes? The scrolls talked about different theories and applications of chakra the controlled the outcome. For instance you could accomplish a jutsu in several varying methods, which would each produce a different effect. It was brilliant. 4
Twenty minutes in now and Tetsu's head was started to hurt. Deciding to take a step back from it all, the boy read through other areas of the text in an attempt to find a better understood ground. Luckily he found as such in the home of fuinjutsu. The subject had only briefly been touched upon by Tetsu's father but what little he knew had gone along way. The idea of storing jutsu had always interested him, and in a way, was the only talent he could claim to be as equally as skilled in as other ninja without even trying. 5
IT didn't take him long to consume every subject that was available to him over the sealing arts. Of course when he was finished it had left a hole in his heart that needed to be filled with more knowledge. Tetsu filed this with the study of the elements. 6
Water was first and the boy took a small shine to it, or rather, the idea of it anyway. Like the other chakra controlling types elemental chakra required too much impromptu learning. You had to be able to monitor the flow of the jutsu and be ready to change it's course where needed. Which was the complete opposite from what he had just learned with the static and unchanging fuin. 7
You just knew what you were getting every time with seals. Regardless, this did not stop Tetsu from being able to learn these jutsu through sheer willpower. He didn't need some teacher to tell him 'trciks of the trade' or anything weak like that. He would take everything that he needed from this world on his own. 8
By the time he had finished with playing in his stupor, time had very much gotten away from him. Looking up from his books the boy noticed that he was alone for the first time. A panic came over him that he did not show. Instead he calming lifted himself from the floor and went searching for the genin friend he had made earlier. Either that or an exit before some Jounin caught and punished him anyway. He had learned all he could of the shinobi secrets anyway. The taste it had left in his mouth felt bitter however, and only further cemented his answer in his mind. 9
The wet spatter of blood and mashed flesh would speckle the boy's armor and even make it's way through the visor onto Botenmaru's actual face. The girl resisted for only so long before she felt limp, only to have her body continue to take battering strikes against her face until she was unrecognizable. The armored genin glanced over his shoulder as he took a knee, preparing to stand from his victim. Terror would surely wash over the last one who just watched her sister be turned to mashed potatoes. As each of the Oatmeal clones and the original would step back in their moment of fear, Botenmaru would release an audible inhale. As the air around him filled his lungs it would be augmented with chakra. With a mighty exhale, the visor of his helmet would act as a ventalation system as a dark smoke spewed and filled the immediate area. The sounds of coughing would confirm to the young Knight that his targets were in range.
'CLICK'
The clear echo of teeth clacking together a single time would be all those in the smoke would hear before the smoke ignited. The flames rolled outward like an ocean wave morphed to flame as it engulfed the shadow clones and the sisters who had been rendered less than conscious. Suit smoke rolled over the ground as the crisp crunching of debris under Botenmaru's feet called out to the classmates who had just seen him accept his headband. He grasped his sword, whirling it in a circle before holstering it effortlessly behind the shield on his left arm. " I'm ready." he said plainly to himself, loud enough to be heard by all. He calmly surveyed the bodies of his three exam testers. " Hospital is that way." he said, gesturing towards the door for the only sister who was awake, oatmeal. Each of them would have a long recovery ahead of them. Oatmeal was burned beyond recognition, her singed nerves most likely prevented her from feeling what had been done to her. Surfboard would have suffered from a fractured neck. She would not be able to move from her location. She was the least damaged, her burns superficial. Finally, Double Trouble. The girl would most likely never have any attractive features aside from her chest to be vain about ever again, her face mutilated.
He moved finally back to Satoshi. He paused, examining him throughly. He scratched his head as he looked up slightly to make eye contact with him now. He wasn't sure what to make of his allies age now but he wasn't feeling like vocalizing his disbelief. He expelled a muffled. " Hmmm"

Personal Attributes • Will of Steel: The user's endurance cap is raised by 1 point so long as their endurance does not exceed 9. In addition, their rock hard natural skin gains immunity from two physical status effects of choice with the exception of frostbite and dehydration. [ Chosen: Paralysis, Trauma ] • Forge Master: At creation, the user may choose Armor Smithing or Weapon Smithing. The character begins at Apprentice Status in that chosen crafting profession. The user is able to use their Steel Release's metals to forge all weapons and armor they create with durability that matches their body rank. In addition, each weapon or armor crafted this way gains an additional ability unique to that weapon that must utilize the clan's abilities in some way. Finally, items created this way can be freely absorbed into the body and expelled by paying an E Rank amount of chakra with no activation for each item removed during combat in this method. • Iron Tomb: All the user's techniques that would cause petrification in a target are instead changed to metal as they have their flesh's structure changed into steel. This metal element being added to the petrification status causes all petrification to occur at the next highest tier as well as adding an additional cost of the user's body rank in chakra to break the limb free. • Heavy Armor Specialist: Botenmaru's armor is able to endure one additional strike of it's durability level before it degrades. This effect can only be used once every three posts. • Endless Aegis: Botenmaru's shield is treated as heavy armor instead of a weapon, giving any drawbacks standard heavy armor would along with it's defense rating. • Bootyenmaru: Botenmaru's fascination with piracy demonstrated by Satoshi grants him and anyone in his crew ( party/group ) double rewards for Ryo.
Discipline & Cross Class Abilities • Juggernaut [ Bukijutu ] | The user suffers no restrictions of movement or drawbacks from any armor tier they wear and it requires no slot consumption from the Inventory System. In addition, armor they are actively wearing are increased by two ranks in durability and techniques that are increased in effectiveness against armor do not gain that bonus against the user. The user gains a moderate boost to strength and fortitude. Once every three posts, the user is able to defend an attack without paying an activation for the technique, instead spending it upon an offensive action if the user chooses. • Combat Medic [ Medical ] | Shinobi of this discipline gain the ability to pay for their simple taijutsu as complex. This does not alter its strength in collisions in any way from a standard simple technique. The user's body is more attuned to adrenaline, which allows them to receive a benefit from their techniques which use them every other post versus every three post. In addition, the user gains a slight descriptive in a chosen stat per body rank but must utilize all increases in the same descriptive. The user's body is treated with the durability of medium armor without any drawbacks. Furthermore the medical learning reductions gained from this class also count towards taijutsu learning reductions. The shinobi gains three tai slots, one at D rank, one at C rank, and then one at A-ranked. Finally, the user is able to augment their Genesis Rebirth Technique. Not only does this discipline allow the user to utilize the technique twice, but each time the user is restored of 250 chakra. The user also deals with trauma they receive at one rank less than other ninja. • Medical-Bukijutsu | The user is able to slash their weapon at a target, applying a healing technique to it and casting it upon the target. Every three posts the user is able to combine offensive medical ninjutsu with a bukijutsu technique for one activation, paying only the resource cost every three posts. ▱▰▱ Satoshi had a nagging feeling that he needed to go train his martial arts. This was interrupted by Botenmaru's clinky approach. He then extended his forearm before Yogen flew out of the academy building behind Botenmaru and landed. Once he was perched on Satoshi's arm he affectionately pet Yogen's back with his opposite hand. Once Botenmaru mumbled Satoshi turned to look at him and allowed Yogen to jump onto his shoulder before returning his hands to his sides. Before Soyeon would respond to his proposition Satoshi would address Botenmaru's likely confusion. "Ahoy Botenmaru! Soyeon and I aged fast because of the time break. I be aging too fast my whole life. I really be six years old." He gave the armored lad the simple explanation before stopping to think. He figured that he would have to convince his good friend Soyeon to come along but he also needed more capable mates on his crew. Maybe he could take Botenmaru and the quiet boy to the dojo with him for training and to hear out his idea. Satoshi put his hands together in a seal before poofing a shadow clone of himself into existence. The clone then took his seat on the bench as he stood up to move next to Botenmaru. "I say we go to the dojo for a spell, Botenmaru. Both of ye can come too, if ye want." Satoshi said to Soyeon and Takao. He was not sure about Takao but he was confident that Soyeon would want to stay at the academy for her training so he figured that his shadow clone could stay behind to talk her into the whole ship-stealing idea. He would then lead Botenmaru and possibly Takao back through the academy doors. Once he entered again he saw Tetsu after finishing some of his training. "If ye want, ye can come to the dojo with us for more trainin'." Satoshi said to Tetsu as he walked through the academy room. Eventually, he would walk out of the building and toward the dojo with his shadow clone left behind to continue his conversation with Soyeon.

Satoshi wasted no time speaking, confirming his identity to Botenmaru. To Botenmaru's surprise along with his voice change, his dialect and speech patterns changed too. Satoshi seemed an entirely different person. Then with a simple explanation of a time break, which wasn't so simple to Botenmaru, he would try to move the conversation onward. Botenmaru, not wanting to sound ignorant since it seemed like such a casual explanation would not press further, only accept that Satoshi and Soyeon would age rapidly their entire lives. He suggested the two move to the Dojo. Botenmaru would like to hone some of the skills he had yet to sharpen to perfection yet so it would be accepted without much more than a nod.

Discipline & Cross Class Abilities • Juggernaut [ Bukijutu ] | The user suffers no restrictions of movement or drawbacks from any armor tier they wear and it requires no slot consumption from the Inventory System. In addition, armor they are actively wearing are increased by two ranks in durability and techniques that are increased in effectiveness against armor do not gain that bonus against the user. The user gains a moderate boost to strength and fortitude. Once every three posts, the user is able to defend an attack without paying an activation for the technique, instead spending it upon an offensive action if the user chooses. • Combat Medic [ Medical ] | Shinobi of this discipline gain the ability to pay for their simple taijutsu as complex. This does not alter its strength in collisions in any way from a standard simple technique. The user's body is more attuned to adrenaline, which allows them to receive a benefit from their techniques which use them every other post versus every three post. In addition, the user gains a slight descriptive in a chosen stat per body rank but must utilize all increases in the same descriptive. Kaito couldn't help but think about how cute Avalanche was when they were flustered, immediately making him feel better that they could be disasters together. He nearly jumped out of his skin when Avalanche tried to kill the kid who offered up a Yamanaka therapist for the two of them.
"To be fair, I could probably use some therapy. But that's a waste of time! We could probably convince the therapist to help us with our corruption problem if we say we need to fix the APD in order to find peace or something? He also wanted desperately to get out of the dusty attic. It was making him a little nervous being trapped up here, even if they weren't actually trapped.
"Shall we put an end to police corruption once and for all?" His face lit up with hope that the two of them could solve this problem. He was quick to take the lead down the stairs again, though he had no idea where the Yamanaka therapist was or what her name was.

Satoshi returned, spouting more stuff out about fate as Syoeon would still wear a skeptical frown for her friend's view of life. She didn't really respond back with anything, though worried about if he would get stuck in this cycle of having to do something not because of his will but because he believed that he had too. But wasn't that free will as well? This was all just so confusing. Satoshi next would go on about the next passage in the back. To rise after he fell. He somehow had took it to heart that it meant they would be stealing an airship. A bunch of teens stealing an airship. "What?" Soyeon began. "But Satoshi, what about the Kage? He's not gunna let you just walk onto a ship and leave. There's no way we'll be able to get outta here." Soyeon protested. She hoped that Takao would help her in talking him down, but nope. He was all for it. She grumbled to herself and shook her head. "Can we at least just pretend that this is the most insane thing anybody in Arashi has planned of?"
The group split for going to the dojo while Soyeon would be staying for obvious reasons. Boys and their taijutsu. She wasn't really good with that type of thing, being a total nerd and everything. With the Satoshi clone in the same room, she would gather up all the scrolls she needed and get about training. "We can go to the Crow Lands, come back, learn and train more. Where are we going to get supplies? Food? Water? Anything we might need to survive?" She swung her hand to call off the stone spears and would move to breaking the earth beneath her, creating a medium sized rock and then crushing it, her temper starting to flare. ▱▰▱ So far Takao was on board for Satoshi's plan. He grinned at Takao before responding to him. "Aye mate, I be excited for our adventure!" Satoshi spoke to Takao with enthusiasm after turning to him. Rather unexpectedly, however, Soyeon was protesting his idea as he turned his head to look at her. This caused him to take a more solemn expression after his excited smile for Takao faded. The shadow clone was unsure if Botenmaru and Tetsu would go along with the idea and figured that his original self was working on that in the dojo. He sat and quietly listened to Soyeon before getting up and following her into the academy training room. It was becoming clearer that the little girl who followed him everywhere was gone. The young woman who was currently scrutinizing him was the new Soyeon. Just as the quick aging changed him he supposed it was natural for her to be changed too. He was just not expecting so much pushback all at once. He waited for her to finish but found that she was only flaring up in anger. "Aye, what will Toso do? I plan to leave 'em a letter and he'll go back to being a kage without the burden of havin' me around." Satoshi said in a melancholy tone as he shut and locked the door to the private tutoring room. This was to ensure that he, Soyeon, and Takao had the room to themselves. Satoshi knew that his mere existence in the village put Toso at risk and that it was better for everyone if he was not here as much as it pained him to come to that realization. After a long silence, Satoshi would articulate his rough plan on what to do. "The airship should have supplies stored on it already ta last us a while. We'll be needin' to create a distraction ta get most of the crew out. Except we'll need ta...persuade the captain ta come with us and teach me how to fly and sail it." Satoshi already had some experience with sailing on Kiremashima at least. Flying giant galleons was not on his resume however so he knew that kidnapping a pilot was certainly necessary. As he spoke he took all kinds of scrolls off the walls and stored them in the backpack that the original Satoshi left behind. He knew that they would need these learning supplies to improve their skills later. "With these scrolls we'll be able to train on the ship." Satoshi said to Soyeon and Takao as he stuffed the bag with scrolls of all kinds. He also found some taijutsu and bukijutsu scrolls and placed those in the bag before zipping it up. "If anyone in this village found out who I really am they wouldn't want me 'ere anyway. That be the thing I can't tell yee...yet but soon." There was clearly a pain in Satoshi's voice from being questioned by Soyeon. The topic at hand was kept vague but cut him deeply nonetheless. He planned to tell his friends everything once they were as far away from this village as possible. Once he was able to swallow down his hurt feelings about the sensitive topic he approached Soyeon when she was chucking rocks and hugged her. When he wrapped his arms around her he spoke again after loosening his embrace somewhat to look her in the eye. "There be so much I wanna tell yee, but I can't while we're 'ere. I've been so...restrained 'ere. Afraid to be me because of what might happen. I don't have any real family 'ere and neither do yee. We're strong, we'll have our mates like Takao, what do we have to lose? There be nothin' left for us 'ere." Satoshi spoke softly and gently. He knew that he could trust Soyeon with his secrets but even breathing a single substantive word to anyone about his parentage would be direly risky.

Avalanche felt embarrassed once more when Kaito made the point of the therapist being a possible lead at cancelling the corruption of the APD. When Kaito took the lead the vigilante followed behind with a dramatic turn of their cape. As they downed the stairs he found the intern who was still on the ground and used their hands to force him to his feet. "Where is this therapist?" Avalanche demanded. "So you admit that you might just need a little help?" The intern said half awake. "WHERE IS THE THERAPIST?!" Avalanche shouted as they shook the man like a rag doll. "RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT ON CHERRY TREE LANE!" He said through the shakes. Avalanche dropped the guy and turned to Kaito. "He said it twice! And here I thought I was the one without manners." They said, fully expecting Kaito to be on their side, as they turned away from the intern whose head was still spinning and exited the academy.
Soyeon's objections were very reasonable and Takao found himself agreeing immensely, though he argued internally with Chomei who insisted the two of them let the kids carry the deed out so that when Takao brought them safely back to the village, their need for adventure was sated and they would want to be in the safety of the village again. It was a compelling argument to make the kids seek the village again; if he nipped this in the bud immediately, the kids might try to sneak out again because they hadn't explored enough. In that case, he might not be there to oversee.
Satoshi's sentiments broke his heart, however. Feeling like a burden, having no real family... it didn't line up with Takao's experiences but he felt that sentiment itself resonate in him, having parents who treated him as a scroll, a vessel for Chomei.
"We're doing this," he said with unwavering confidence. "You have nothing to be ashamed of, Satoshi, but I trust you enough to wait to hear your full truth until we're in the skies." As he said it, he felt Chomei celebrate from within him, and Takao couldn't help but grin ear-to-ear as the two of them agreed completely for once. "Nothing to lose but so much to gain in this venture, huh? Let's do it."

The user's speed and reflex when wielding a small weapon is increased by a slight amount. • [ Sobagai Deba Sentou ] After each technique, light shines in the opponent's eyes and reduces their reflexes for that turn equal to the rank of the technique used by the practitioner. • [ Sobagai Deba Sentou ] Once per post, the user may use a single D-Rank or lower technique involving small weapons without paying the cost. This still requires the activation be utilized. • [ Sobagai Deba Sentou ] All projectile weapons used as a small weapon for this style gain a slight speed increase per rank of the parent technique. • [ Kakumei ] This allows the user to detect when an offensive action is about to occur, giving them a slight increase in reflex per body rank of the user. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation. • [ Mirror Image Art ] The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with. Avalanche's explosive reactions to the intern made Kaito's heart flutter -- it was just cute how they reacted to these kinds of things. Kaito would have to investigate what other things set of that reaction later. The only other thing that came to mind was the vigilante's love of cats that had surprised Kaito at their new home. "Cherry Tree Lane is around where my mom lives. Let's go check it out!" He was suddenly excited about their investigation again. He couldn't wait to see how Avalanche would react when the therapist asked questions. "Time to fix APD!"
As he followed Avalanche out of the building, Kaito realized he would need a new battle cry for the two of them.

Their friend over yonder was still blindly following Satoshi's word as if it was mandated by the heavens though Soyeon would still reserve some judgement for what he was doing. She played with her rocks more while he explained just what he had in store for Toso. "A letter? That's all you're going to do? After everything that he did taking you in?" She scrutinized him for just up and leaving like he planned to do. It seemed almost insulting as a caretaker for your kid to run off for a reason like this and not even tell you. But Satoshi's tone would slip that bravado he had on and feel a tad more solemn. He walked over to lock the door and would turn back around to face them. Soyeon was still clearly against the idea of just up and leaving like this, kicking a rock sideways for a jutsu while he would better articulate his plan. THis only proved to make Soyeon even more upset. [ Learned 5 Ninjutsu ]
"Now we're moving on to kidnapping?!" She said, throwing a fireball across the room while huffing at Satoshi. "So we went from stealing a ship, to stealing a ship with supplies to kidnapping a captain to teach us how to fly? And what happens after we've learned from him, Satoshi? Are you going to kill him? Throw him overboard? We might as well since we're so far already. In fact, why don't we just carpet bomb a village? Maybe genocide before tea time in the afternoon?" [ Learned 5 Ninjutsu ]
She was on a roll, watching while Satoshi stuffed a bunch of scrolls inside of his bag to use for the trip there. Tack on theft of academy instructional materials to the list of crimes. "Why can't you...just listen?!" Soyeon said, stomping her foot down as Satoshi would pause. The girl's hands glowed a piercing white color again, fueled by her anger as her control slipped. "This whole thing is just one power fantasy that you keep telling yourself you have to do, Satoshi. This will have consequences, and you either don't seem to be aware that they will or just don't care. Toso will hang us by our necks if we steal a ship, supplies, and then a captain." she ranted, pausing for a breath. "And you always keep saying that! Why won't you just tell us? You keep just always going on about "how nobody would want me" when we've been friends for years! Just tell us and stop being such a little br-" [ Learned 5 Ninjutsu ]
Soyeon would pause as she felt Satoshi's arm wrap around her. The feeling of a hug or affection had always been given out by her, but never received. She would bite her lip while the warmth made her eyes begin to water at what he said. She really didn't. There was Nozomi and some teachers, but Soyeon really did have much to weigh her down here. Her balled hands began to turn white as she finally lowered that emotional wall. [ Learned 5 Ninjutsu ]
"Why do you have Toso, but I don't have anyone?" Soyeon whined, hugging Satoshi tightly. "It's not fair. I work hard, I tried to be the best pupil in the academy, b-but nobody wants me." The girl sniffed, wiping her eyes on her hand while squeezing her friend's chest again. "Not even my parents wanted me...And I'm stuck with this...stupid demon that hates me and..." She would remain silent again, maybe calm down if Satoshi played with her hair she so enjoyed the feeling of. [ Learned 5 Ninjutsu ]
After that outburst, Soyeon remained quiet still while Satoshi let go. The girl was still in a rather emotional state, now thinking a bit more on what Satoshi had said. While leaving might be nice, it was still a pretty bad things that he had planned for the group to do. Just go and ransack a ship before taking off. She wanted to try and stop him, but didn't really want to alienate herself from the closest thing she had to family now. [ Learned 5 Ninjutsu ]

▱▰▱ He was glad to hear that Takao was willing to be patient with him. That offered him some relief in the midst of the tongue lashing from Soyeon that he was on the receiving end of. When Soyeon tightly returned his embraced he smiled and squeezed tighter. He then soothingly ran his hand over the back of her head and tangled his fingers in her hair. When she spoke and revealed her vulnerability he got the sense that this was the weight she was carrying around all along. He remained silent as she poured her heart out regarding her emotional suffering. When she let go he would as well but only to softly grasp her face in his hands. He used his thumbs to gently wipe away her tears before smiling softly. "Nay lass, but yee have me. I've always cared about yee, even though I was too bashful to say it. Even when ya yell at me, it's better than not having yee with me. Will yee trust me and join us?" Satoshi spoke sweetly and felt butterflies overwhelming his stomach. He stared into her eyes as he continued to hold her face in his hands. He was completely sincere in this. Soyeon was always there when he needed her and also when he did not need here, frankly she was there all the time, following him around. Even if she would now question his every move during this adventure, he didn't care and needed to have her with him. "You'll know everything about me soon, I promise. Your aging, my aging, I believe that fate be bindin' us together. That means that our destinies are tied and you'll go where I go. In the end, you'll never be alone again." Satoshi's face became more serious as his smile faded but he was no less sincere. His face was completely flushed as he continued staring into her big brown eyes with his single yellow eye. The taller boy, completely lost in the moment, leaned down and bumped their noses together and smiled again. Before the young teen could work up the nerve, he began feeling an unexplainable paralysis as he remembered that Takao was with them. He then moved his face up to affectionately kiss her on the forehead before letting her face go. Satoshi felt embarrassed and hoped that he was not making Takao feel uncomfortable. Satoshi looked over at Takao as his face reddened even more and nervously rubbed the back of his neck as if in an "aw shucks" manner. He then waited for Soyeon's response to him and hoped that she would agree to come with them.
Personal Attributes • Demonic Shroud | When an E-Rank amount of chakra is applied to Satoshi's natural chakra materialization it becomes even more realistic and haunting. Viewing the fog acts as the trigger for genjutsu and counts as eye contact for sharingan genjutsu/hypnosis if his sharingan is active. Alternatively, if no genjutsu is cast then viewing the shroud merely causes first-tier mental stress or insanity. This is not a technique and does not cost an activation. • Illusory Prowess | This attribute allows any and all genjutsu to be cast through eye contact with the Uchiha. In addition, the genjutsu cast in this manner have the sight sense added to them at C Rank body. At S Rank body, the user's genjutsu are given the chakra sense. Also, mental stress or insanity can be added to any genjutsu cast through eye contact for an additional fifty percent chakra cost. • Genetic Palette | With intensive genetic therapy and strong blood, this character is able to possess more than one transplant. This allows the character up to two transplants total, of any of the three categories. • Illusory Prowess | This attribute allows any and all genjutsu to be cast through eye contact with the Uchiha. In addition, the genjutsu cast in this manner have the sight sense added to them at C Rank body. At S Rank body, the user's genjutsu are given the chakra sense. Also, mental stress or insanity can be added to any genjutsu cast through eye contact for an additional fifty percent chakra cost. • Get Thee Back into the Tempest | Satoshi is granted the wind element. • Phantom Master | Satoshi is able to add an additional sense to the illusory images created by his signature style of Phantom Slayer and custom techniques based upon it for a maximum of [2] senses. The images are sight-based and thus always have that sense but [2] additional senses like touch and sound can be added. • Amaterasu’s Cloak | All fire based techniques produced by the Uchiha are considered bloodline techniques.The flames are turned black and fire based techniques are reduced by 5 chakra per rank with a minimum of 5 chakra to be paid for a technique. For each rank of a technique, it's flames burn actively for one post or one additional post if a limit is given. • Melee Prodigy | The user obtains a [1] point increase to agility while their sharingan is active for each body rank they have obtained. In addition, the user's first physical offensive activation every three posts gains a [1] point increase to speed per rank of their body, also requiring the eyes to be active. • Mirror Master | Satoshi is able to add an additional sense to the illusory images created by the Mirror Image Art taijutsu style and custom techniques based upon it for a maximum of [2] senses. The images are sight-based and thus always have that sense but [2] additional senses like touch and sound can be added.
