Aura class! Aura class!! A second class for Team RCPT to work together and be all the besties!!! That was Tabby's energetic idealisms at least. The ginger had wished this could have been a simple case of describing things, but as of late, her usual outbursts were sort of played down slightly. Since the mission they had of patrolling, and the outburst of their team leader, Tabby had been more... Unsure of things. Poppy seemed distracted, Roq was... Different than usual, and only Chase had no difference in demeanor to him. The team was still dear and near to her heart, but she only wished to see her team like they were, before the mission.... This was crazy!!! With this morning undergoing the usual cleaning routine, and an academy uniform put onto her person, in place of her usual outfits, Tabby was ready for class. The only other class ever taken had been history, with a faunus teacher whose wings she wanted to stroke, and have asked to pick her up and fly around. She still had yet to realize that teacher had been none other than the headmaster!!! "What is this teacher gonna be like!? They gonna have wings too!? Who knew!!! She was all excited, and ready to get learning and watching faunus galore!!
First thing first however, was arriving to the class itself. Settled in the courtyard, some students were there already. Seeing quite a bunch, Tabby was about to go into fangirl mode, hopping from one to another with hugs and hellos. That was... Until her short attention span had switched over to Roq, randomly smelling a flower. "Spicy boy being insanely bagonzo!!!!!" Blinking her large golden hues at him, there was no hiding the speculation on the mans sanity, given the furrow of her brows, and the side glance towards Chase and Poppy. Did either have a solution to this, per chance? There was no chance to ask on such, as Kail had began the class. At first, Tabitha was completely skeptical on her. "She looks like a boring human!" It was not until she had seen the flickering of the woman's tongue as she had spoken, had she realized this woman was a faunus too, and the cheeriness had returned to her face, allowing her to easily sit down at pay attention. Being told they were using dust got her riled up once more!! Combining dust!? Making effects!?!? As someone who used Yellow dust in her weapons all the time, this was going to be fun~! "Tabby loves the buzzy buzz yellow one!!! Many zappies!!!!!! Can we combine with more than two dust!? Or do we only use two only!?" Such a question felt important, given how many crazy ideas were forming in her head. The larger boom making, the more fun that could be done!! Since the teacher wanted to feel an effect, hopefully that wasn't meant literally As much as she wanted to go over creative, to risk hurting any faunus was a nono!!!!! Perish it all!!! That kind of worry had her reaching out to hug Poppy's arm, biting her bottom lip to try containing down her excitement.

Once activated, Tabitha is able to release a miasma of aroma from her pores into a large cloud. Each aroma she can release has different effects. Her most dangerous smell being the smell of fish (as it is her number one food choice.) Aromas include: catnip, cake, Lavender, fish, apple cinnamon, and mint. Each aroma has different effects. Area effect around her ranges from 20-50 ft based on level.
Catnip: faint white shroud in the air, can cause hyperactivity among allies Lavender:faint purple shroud, Can cause calming energy to grimm and enemy, also help stressed allies apple cinnamon: faint red shroud, Can cause confusion to enemies mint: faint green shroud, can refresh dizzy and disoriented comrades cake: faint sparkly shroud, can cause a fullness feeling to both enemy and ally fish: faint light blue shroud, the most powerful of her aromas, and can cause nausea and acid reflexes to kick in. These aromas are meant to only cause mental issues and buffs, not to cause actual harm. █ *LEVEL 0 ▬ (0-99 posts) Tabitha is able to use only 2 different aromas in a battle. Cooldown 4 posts. By level three she is able to walk up to 6 steps, but the area range does not move nor change. - the aromas used in battle cling to people afterwards. -in order to get affected they need to be in her range of semblance in order for the semblance to kick -.needs to have the image of the aroma choice in her mind (ex: mint leaves, apples, fish, cake, catnip, lavender flowers) -hallucinations in dice rolls as drawback happen because of the aromas backlashing at her and effecting her at a different mental state.

Kail smelled all the scents that came into class. First was her assistant, Ms. Argenia. She smelled of flowers in a field, as if she placed one up against her nose, however, the insecurity she felt broke her heart. This student had stepped up during the time a teacher needed her. She had "read" in her file that she had recently lost a team member...Tessa. Kail vividly remembered having to break up a fight between two teams thanks to her. It also ended up with a bench thrown across the room, oh, and the smell...it was like someone emptied an entire container of male cologne.
Other students would pile into the class as well, some notable scents were the scent of skunk, There was the scent of rolls. Kail would flick her tongue out more. Then from that direction, there was a question. It was in the third person? She would turn her head towards the student. For those who knew she was blind, she would seem to hone in on the girl. In truth, she followed the aura. It honestly looked like she was looking an a very excited dog. She would hear some swishing in the grass near the girl as well, was she a canine faunus? Remembering the file though, the girl was a Ferret. Hmm...She guessed that would also fit. "Ms. Grey, you will need to explain the reason you do not get what I am saying. Also, please call me Professor if you can not say my last name."
The smell of oil, a scent she wasn't a fan of. There was the mixings of orange and mint? Who mixed those scents? Then the scent of fish, and lemons. That did sound like a good meal...
The class didn't seem to be talking much. She would let out a sigh. The girl who smelled of fish and lemons would finally ask a question. She would kind of chuckle. "Yes, Yellow is Electricity. The issue with combining more than two is that it can have unexpected effects, I'm not saying it's not possible, but things may turn against you if you were to do it in a dire situation." The teacher seemed to get in the vicinity of Tabby, but was more to the right of her, rather than looking exactly looking at her.
Her face would then turn red to the class. "Oh, I am so sorry. I forgot to mention why I need to be able to feel the effect. I am unable to see. I am able to sense aura, and use my hearing, and sense of smell to locate people." She would then take a deep breathe. "Now, who can tell me common dust combinations? You may raise your hands, and Ms. Argenia will call on you. Once she does, state your names, and then come and demonstrate your combination. I will not take repeats of dust combinations."
Meanwhile, during this, Bowie would look at the snake faunus, and flick her tongue at her, taking in her scent. The snake would then start to wrap around her, as if to enjoy both the sunlight, and the warmth of another body.

He was...not himself in the slightest. Yesterday had been the usual Roq, but today was...if Chase had a means to test it, he would check to see if Roq was high on something. He was not sure if it was the flowers or something before it; still trying to identify all the herbs in Dr. Lenz's clinic. He may have to take him to her at this rate to figure out what was going on. Had it not been for class, he would've done so in a heart beat; regardless of his resistance, though he didn't seem like he would give any. He honestly had no idea what had happened with him, and from the looks he got neither did his team. Angel seemed the most affected by it, given how often she looked to Roq, as even Chase could tell she was very worried on what was going on. But he had no answers to give for the time being; to bother her and Tabby's look he could only shrug and shake his head. "We...may want to...take him to get checked...at some point," he would whisper to Poppy. It was the best bet in figuring out what was wrong, In Chase's mind at least. Then something very unexpected happened; he would feel Poppy's hand hit his and then grab onto it!? He felt a rush of emotions from the touch, and a blush cross his face, as he awkwardly looked to the ground as she apologized. Unaware she was feeling similarly embarrassed; and not being able to find the will to form any words for the moment.
Thankfully, the awkwardness would be broken by a familiar face to Chase at least. Kirien would ask him if everything was alright with the professor; making him jump slightly as given all the awkwardness he had not eve noticed her arrival despite the scent. Flustered, he would stammer out a response. "Uh, well, I-I think everything is. Alright with her." was all he would say before she spoke. Surprisingly, or not so if his mind would stop racing, Tabby would be the first to ask a question. And a good one at that; one that Chase had not thought to do. the professor would respond by saying it would lead to unpredictable effects; and could pose a danger to them. 'If I can muster the will and go first...I may not have to resort to that,' he thought quietly to himself. As the professor spoke, Chase would note she was not exactly looking at Tabby but to the right of her. He was curious, but before he could even form a question he would receive an answer; the professor was blind. 'This...could be dangerous,' he thought to himself. While he was sure she took precautions, using dust seemed like things could go bad quick with one mistake. She would then mention being able to sense aura, and rely on other senses. 'You can sense aura? I wonder if that could be taught...' he pondered silently. She would then ask for dust combinations; saying they would need to raise their hands, be picked out, and no repeat dust combinations. She also mentioned a familiar name, and that was when Chase would notice it was Sasselia who would be her assistant; he seemed to keep running into her from time to time, though it should be expected given the school they attended. Having an idea in mind, and deciding to be a bit daring, Chase would raise his hand quickly if meekly. Once picked, he would speak; trying to project his voice a bit though the nervousness would still be clear. "One common combination is...fire and water dust to make steam," he would say before stepping forward, trying to ignore the feeling of a thousand eyes watching him even though he knew it was at most seven, and getting both types of dust together. Taking a deep breath, he would set them on the ground near the professor and activate them.

Ferra continued to nibble at her pastry when the teacher responded, telling her she needed to explain more while also getting on her about how she addressed her. Taking a moment so she wouldn't be speaking with food in her mouth, she replied. "Sorry! Ferra didn't hear when you were saying your name. She fell and totally missed it. She almost squished her sweets too. Oh...Umm...Ferra thought this was for Aura. But, we're supposed to takes dusts and do something with them? Like...with our auras? Cuz...Ferra doesn't think her Aura does that. She can see things happen super slower than how they happen and move really fast for a moment. But, that's all. She doesn't understand what exactly we're supposed to do?" After asking her question, she returned to nibbling her sweet bun, noticing the teacher had addressed another girl who was talking about mixing the yellow dust and wondering about mixing more than two types. Kail would look to the smell of the pastries. It was very rude to bring food to a class, and not share with everyone. Especially when it smelt good. She would take in a breathe, exhaling the stress.
"The official name of this class is 'Aura manipulation, Semblance training, and the use of dust. This is because all 3 require the use of aura, whether it is your shield" She would let her aura shimmer all over her body, showing the green and black. For those who could sense aura, her own felt as if a snake was creeping up their skin. "activating dust," She would pick up a piece of small wind dust, based on where it was supposed to be on the table, causing her kimono and her hair to move through a wind current. "or using your semblance in it's entirety." Kail would stick out her tongue, and do a series of hissing. The first snake to respond was Bowie. The snake would leave her warm spot. Once she was up to her mother, Kail would gently touch the snake, her aura going into the snake, causing the snake to become twice as big as she was. This was now the size of a 26 foot anaconda. The snake would then slither back to her warm spot.
"All aura, once activated, can normally do all 3 of those. What you are describing is your semblance. Mine was used to make my dear Bowie as big as she is. This is just something that you should be able to do." She would then wait, smelling a medical scented man, with the scent of blood come forward. He would create Steam dust. Kail would smile. "Thank you, Steam dust is one of the combinations that you can make. It's also a really common one." She would then turn to the smell of the pastries once more. "It's taking two dust, and creating a new effect."

___ Nox looked away from the table covered in dust to focus her attention on another female student that had the look of a feline about her. She was very energetic too boot. If she wasn't basking in some good strong sunlight and enjoying the fact that it was a pleasant day today, temperature wise more than there not being any rain, she had the feeling that just watching this girl could wear her out. Then again she kept up with Ferra well enough so maybe that was exaggerating. She seemed to speak in the third person regularly which allowed Nox to place a name to the cat: Tabby. She was asking if the lesson was restricting the combinations they could use to those that only used two types of dust.
___ The professor answered this question in the affirmative. Cautioning that the more elements you add to the combination the more places you add for a potential mishap, especially in combat. Nox frowned slightly at this as it wasn't something she normally would consider. Though she handles dust differently than most do. The idea of dust being unruly was an oddity to her. She would of course listen to the teacher explaining that she was in fact blind as she spoke in response to yet another student's question though her attention was devoted more to the boa constrictor she was sitting next to. The large snake has taken notice of her and had lifted its head up to the level of hers. Nox's pupils shrank down to reptilian slits as the two of them looking at each other. Eventually they seemed to come to an understanding and the snake began to climb over her. Nox didn't seem to mind at all as she gained the same bonus from bowie as it did from her as to her Bowie felt warm thanks to the time it had spent sun bathing.
___ Next up to talk was a young man with white hair. Nox felt she might of met him before. While on that mission in those cave... Yes that was it. He had definitely been there but she was drawing a blank on a name. Did they actually even speak at all? Maybe she saw him but never actually heard a name or got a proper introduction. He started things off with one of the most common combinations of dust. The teacher would confirm this and then go on to address Ferra once more. The boa constrictor left her to answer a summons from Professor Kail in which she used her semblance to double the snakes size. Bowie came back over after that and coiled up around Nox once more. Though she was a little glad that this time Bowie did so in way that had Nox sitting in the middle of a ring of snake with the coils pressing up against her for heat rather than being actually on her as she was certain that making Bowie twice the length probably also upped her weight as well.
___ Nox lifted her arm and waited til the girl standing beside the teacher to call on her. Once Ms. Agenia called on her Nox stood up since the coils of Bowie were stacked not too shy of her shoulders with her sitting on the ground. "I'm Nox De Luca and the combination I will present is gravity and lightning." She stated. She then looked down at Bowie and deciding it would be too much trouble to climb over the snake she activated her aura and her semblance. The purple and yellow dust crystals on the table started to vibrate a little as a little stream of dust peeled off of each of them. Nox took out her lucky coin from her coat pocket and positioned it on her right hand for a coin toss as she worked on combining the two elements. The two streams of dust swirling together a couple feet away in a clear spot on the table. The combined dust crystal created was a light purple color. "To create... Magnetic Dust." She stated and Kail would be able to hear the sound of her flicking her coin airborne. The coin flashed in the sunlight as it spun up into the air in a large arc towards the table until it suddenly shifted direction and rocketed towards the new dust crystal, smacking into it with a metallic clink. The force of the impact caused the small light purple crystal to tip over and roll a few inches across the table with a clatter much like that a rock would of made. Nox dropped her semblance and aura and shifted her red eyes over to Kail to see if the metal object being drawn to the dust worked as an effect something the blind faunus could sense.
╔════════════RENA KIYOKO════════════╗ Rena watched as one girl, nibbling away at a pastry, brought up the question she herself wanted to ask. The response wasn't exactly promising for her. Not that it wasn't useful. She was relatively certain it had a great deal of application in the trade most here were applying themselves for. But, to someone like her, who had no intent to actually become a Huntress or to fight, it literally had no value. With an exasperated sigh, she watched as a couple of students displayed their combinations before standing up and stepping forward. After a few feet, she kicked off the ground, clearing several students in, what for her, was just a casual jump. not out of any desire to show off, it was simply the quickest route to the front. She stood behind the current student a few feet, waiting for her to finish up, wanting to just get this over with. The current lesson was such a letdown, she was starting to feel depression set in, but, tried to reign it in.
Whatever the result from the previous girl, Rena would wait for deliberation from the teacher and for the girl before her to finish up before stepping forward and grabbing a black and blue crystal."Rena Kiyoko. Ice and Gravity to create a small barrage of ice projectiles, like mortars. Don't worry, moving off to the side to not hurt anyone. Should feel the tremors though."She took another couple of leaps, clearing about a hundred feet away before activating the blue shard and tossing it up, at the apex of it's toss, six large shards of ice formed in the air and began to fall. She backstepped and leapt closer to the group, activating the black crystal in her left hand and swinging it down as she landed twenty five feet away. She immediately hopped back again, clearing another twenty five as the shards began to spin and shot down towards a vacant space of ground, slamming hard into it, imbedding over a couple feet deep, spinning to a stop as they effectively drilled into the ground. It wouldn't be like an earthquake, but, Rena could very clearly feel six staggered impacts in the ground from where she was and was reasonably certain even those without enhanced senses would feel them back where the rest were gathered. Surely the teacher did as well. Hand in pocket, she leapt back to the table and dropped the black crystal on the table where it'd been when she first arrived."I still don't see how this teaches us to manage our Aura or semblances." ╚═════════════TEAM: NONE═════════════╝ PC: 62 OOC:

Thank goodness for name preferences!!! Though the comment was not towards her, Tabitha was still relieved they could say professor. Her last name was hard to say! The poor faunus though! She had no idea what was going on!! Tabitha was glad to have asked something as the silence almost lingured, wanting to see what all could be done!! To even have the snake lady coming close to her, towards the right of her, Tabby couldn't help but giggle with glee, her hands clapping together. "Yay!!! Tabby will make sure not to make a big boom boom! Thank you kind professor! Tabby will be careful." The idea in her head was already forming on what the young woman had wishes of doing, She had waited until a few others had went first, just to see what all could have been done. "Tabby doesn't want to copy anyone!" Copying would mean cheating!! At least in her eyes. What was a surprise though, was the teacher''s face suddenly going red. Was she okay!?!?!? Who needed the Tabby justice slam!?
When Kail had turned around however, no one actually had bothered her... Yet. It was more of describing and explaining why she needed to feel an effect. She was blind!?!? That explained a lot, as to why she hadn't been directly looking at her when speaking. As for others, after she had given explanation, and a question on dust combinations, Tabbys heart had broken by the rude commented question of Ferra. "Even Tabby knows what dust has to do with aura!!!" Hopefully, as her teammate had approached after being called, had it been pretty self explanatory! Watching Chase go up, he spoke of fire and water making steam. Ooooh!!! With a more responsible student showing how it was done, Chase was up to the front, making the crystals activate. Clapping her hands in delight to his attempt, her attention had swiveled to Kail explaining what the class was all about. To even go as far as to showing a presentation of wind, as well as what her semblance could do, the aura teacher was convincing to Tabby! With all this going on, she had almost missed out on the next student to approach the front. "Another boring human girl!?" Unable to see Nox's face at first, it wasn't until a glimpse had been caught, had she been able to settle herself back down, for that moment of time, per say. The young snake faunus had brought up an interesting twist to the presentation, making a.. Magnetic dust? "Ooooohhhh...." Staring with awe at the effects, once Nox was done her turn, another had come into the fray of presenting. "Bunnnny!!!" That was the exciting reaction at first. Rena had then showed off her stuff, with some over excessiveness, which still kept Tabby's eyes interested in the whole ordeal. The tremors from the effects were somewhat tiny, but she was able to feel them regardless. "Woo! Interesting people!!!"
A forethought... That went down the drain, as Rena had said something even Tabby had found to be rude. WHAAAT!? The teacher had explained it though!? "Why this bunny bun a student if she can't understand?" That was the young ginger could pick up on at least. With a discouraged frown at that rabbit, she rose a hand to the blue hair human upfront with pushy raises of her hand, and her cheeks puffed up. Only when she was finally called up, had Tabby frolicked her way, picking up a red and yellow crystal. "Hallooooo~! Tabitha Kittyana~! Tabby likes to use lightning in combat allll the tiiime!!! All the buzzy buzzness!!! The zappy zaps!!! Lightning Tabby's best friends~! Weeellll... Not as besty friends as Stabby, and Jabby!!! Or Poppy!!! Or Tsuki and Rykitty.... Ahahaha!!! Or Tabby's team!!!! A!!!!! The ramblies!!!.... Sorry!!! Ahem... With a fire and lightning crystal. these two pretty dusties can make an overheat effect!! Much like a boom boom with a charged electrfiying effect~!" Taking these two crystals, the young human had moved about ten feet from the group, clicking the dust crystals together in a humming, singy song matter. Once she had set both crystals down, she had activated her aura, purposely going overboard when she had put as much power as she could onto the crystals activation. "Boom!!!!!!!!!" When the dust crystals had both activated, the dust crystals made a giant fire impact, with jolts of lightning making the heat more chaotic. Much like a heat storm, the purpose of it was meant to give a feeling of humidity through the roof, with heavy static from the lightning making the neaerst of those to it have their hair and friction potential raise. "Nyahaha~!" Running away herself with both hands up in the air from the overheat attempt. the young woman had divebombed near the class, with every end of her hair standing up from the static, just from making sure she didn't get caught in it!

█ *NAME ▬ Catnip carousel~ █ *AURA COLOR ▬ Lime green █ *DESCRIPTION █ ▬ Catnip carousel is an aroma releasing semblance that works by her aura surrounding her from head to toe. Once activated, Tabitha is able to release a miasma of aroma from her pores into a large cloud. Each aroma she can release has different effects. Her most dangerous smell being the smell of fish (as it is her number one food choice.) Aromas include: catnip, cake, Lavender, fish, apple cinnamon, and mint. Each aroma has different effects. Area effect around her ranges from 20-50 ft based on level.
Catnip: faint white shroud in the air, can cause hyperactivity among allies Lavender:faint purple shroud, Can cause calming energy to grimm and enemy, also help stressed allies apple cinnamon: faint red shroud, Can cause confusion to enemies mint: faint green shroud, can refresh dizzy and disoriented comrades cake: faint sparkly shroud, can cause a fullness feeling to both enemy and ally fish: faint light blue shroud, the most powerful of her aromas, and can cause nausea and acid reflexes to kick in. These aromas are meant to only cause mental issues and buffs, not to cause actual harm. █ *LEVEL 0 ▬ (0-99 posts) Tabitha is able to use only 2 different aromas in a battle. Cooldown 4 posts. Shroud of aroma and effects last 2 posts. 20 ft range. 1-60 semblance, 61-100 drawback █ *LEVEL 1▬ (100-199 posts) Tabitha is able to use only 2 different aromas in a battle. Cooldown 4 posts. Shroud of aroma and effects last 4 posts. 35ft range 1-44 semblance, 45-100 drawback By this level she is able to take 4 steps but the aroma area range does not move. █ *LEVEL 3 ▬ (300-399 posts) Tabitha is able to use only 4 different aromas in a battle. Cooldown 4 posts. Shroud of aroma and effects last 4 posts. 45ft range 1-42 semblance, 43-100 drawback █ *DRAWBACKS ▬ At levels 0 and 1 Tabitha is unable to move from the spot once releasing the semblance. Movement causes the aroma to disperse. By level three she is able to walk up to 6 steps, but the area range does not move nor change. - the aromas used in battle cling to people afterwards. -in order to get affected they need to be in her range of semblance in order for the semblance to kick -.needs to have the image of the aroma choice in her mind (ex: mint leaves, apples, fish, cake, catnip, lavender flowers) -hallucinations in dice rolls as drawback happen because of the aromas backlashing at her and effecting her at a different mental state.
Kirien remained by Chase as the teacher had asked of them to determine dust combinations after he had told Kirien that things were alright. Kirien nodded her head as she stood straight beside Chase and Poppy for the moment before moving to go and join Ferra and Nox while rubbing her chin as everyone had their turn to speak. Before Kirien could speak, Ferra interjected, confused about the class of Aura yet they were learning Dust. It was a reasonable question as Kirien waited for the Teacher to answer and was distracted before Kirien pulled out a rolled-up paper and bonked Ferra on the head with it. "Ferra, she's still teaching us to do something cool with Aura. Be thankful for it and don't question the teacher." She told Ferra with a look of eyes closed annoyance but soon there was a bit shadow.... a very big Shadow as Kirien slowly craned her neck up to see the large 26 Foot Anaconda. She was sweating bullets but swallowed hard as her eyes were as big as saucers, and with a blink and a shake of her head, her cartoonish appearance returned to normal.
She looked to Nox as she was spoke about magnetic Dust, to which Kirien really wanted to argue against it as just the gravity dust being predominate when her metallic coin rocketed off to it. Kirien shook her head and began to think as so far the combinations that had been thought up of were Magnetic, Steam....some Ice Rockets? No that was just dumb. Kirien shook her head as Rena suggested that and continued to think as Tabitha.... er Tabby as she was introduced as spoke about using fire and lightning to create a highly explosive combination with ionized particulates in the cloud. It was a good type of combination as the lingering effects could temporarily stun someone after the concussive force.
Once Kirien had enough time to think, she raised her head to look to Kail and spoke. "Combining the Water Dust as it produces water, none of it being distilled either considering it's coming from a mineral source, with the power of Lightning Dust could create a highly Ionized water, allowing one to direct what is normally uncontrolled lightning into a more manipulative state." Kirien stated as she pulled out one of her lightning vials and soon looked to Nox and then back to Kail. "Do I need to demonstrate it like captain did?" She asked of Kail, hoping she didn't have to as it could require something that detected electricity and right now, she doubted anyone wanted to give up a scroll.
The goal of this class was to make dust combinations, and execute them with a feeling aspect. Sounded reasonable enough. It took aura to activate dust, which was a lot better than it running amok on its own. Some students were showing confusion at this concept, or those who had presented after the explanation, had the audacity to wonder still, as to why this was a thing. Aura, at the end of the day, was vital in every situation of combat. To add dust to it on top of things, aura had a big part in it too, with control needed. Even without aura, it was good stuff to know. Those who weren't here at an academy for hunters or huntresses to become just that, why be here? Sasselia could never figure that out for some. She wasn't one to truly think too deep into the intentions of others, as it were. She was more so just one to follow with the flow best as she could, and just could only speculate on what another was trying to achieve at all in such a place. The indication was clear however, on what everyone was told to do, and how to go by about it. There was nothing wrong with the young ferret girl at least trying to make an understanding of it with questions. The soft sweet bun smell picking up in the air, from the contents they held. As for Kail herself, the answers she had given the young ferret was a practical and reasonable response. Whether they chose to understand or not, was all up to them. All Sasselia had to do was what she was able to, as a helper. although the eyes glancing her way made her sort of self-conscious. "W-well... H-here goes..."
Taking a deep breath of her own, she had awaited until the hands were raised. The first up was Chase, a student she remembered well during survival class. His silent, but kind demeanor she had taken note of from that class made it hard to forget him, along with his dog, Poor guy. She understood his nervousness completely. Trying to do something while being stared at was nerve wracking indeed. Luckily, his focus seemed to be there, using water and fire to create a steam, his results went wonderfully. Next, a pretty snake lady had volunteered to go next, and with her presentation, she had made a metal result with her workings, the coins reactions a wonderfully creative sight to behold. "S-so far so good!~" After Nox, a bunny girl introduced as Rena wanted to come up, which she had, presenting an ice and gravity effect. With the ice and gravity, Sass had felt the tremors from where she was standing, rather impressed by the results. Renas comment however, had brought her back to her earlier questioning, one she did not show outwards, but more contemplated this to herself, Rena was not the last on the list. More were still to come. The next was an overly excited girl with ginger hair, looking to be bothered by something. Their pushy hand gesture signified .they wanted to go next. Was this truly a good idea? Whether than question, Sass had let them go up and present. The way they had spoken was like the ferret girl from earlier. Third person talk. Aside from that, the effect idea was a different approach of explaining. What they had done though when they presented was extremely careless. "O-oh my..." Making no other reaction but nervousness when the girl returned, she was glad for another picking to volunteer. A hamster faunus at that, whose concept was more analytical and scientific, Wonderful!!! Ionized water with a more manipulated state for the lighting?? Another interesting approach. All these students like her had a nice variety of ideas!
█ *NAME ▬ Gravity Entrapment █ *AURA COLOR ▬ Royal Blue █ *DESCRIPTION Sasselia's semblance is a gravity and anti-gravity element by way of glyphs. She is able to flip the gravitational pull within the area of her glyphs to either lift things and allow them to float, or make things heavier, by way of making the gravitational pull increase in weight. It is a perfect semblance for trapping Grimm and enemies, though in order to make the glyphs, she must make physical contact with either her hand or her weapon, which allows her to channel her semblance through her bullets or glaive. When her glyphs are laid onto the battlefield, it takes one post for the glyph to be set: the glyphs white on first appearance. The glyph is activated the moment it turns dark blue in colour. Starting at level 0, she can make up to four glyphs, that are 5 meters (15ft) in diameter. Each level, the number of glyphs she can make, and set are increased but the sizes remain the same. Her glyphs are not invincible, as they can be taken down by humans a level or more stronger than her, or by those who exceed the 600-pound limit. The pressure of weight for each level is shown: - Level 0 - 150lb - Level 1 - 300lb - Level 2 - 450lb - Level 3 - 600lb
█ *LEVEL 0 ▬ (0-99 posts) The glyphs are a diameter 15ft wide.(5 meters)
Sasselia is able to lay out four traps that last for four posts, unless broken early on. There is a two post cool down once all her glyphs have been fired out. She cannot shoot out all glyphs in one go, but able to fire up to half the number of glyphs at a time.
The glyphs can either: Gravity: Bring down 150 lbs worth of pressure onto objects or enemies. (Cannot hold anyone or objects over 150 lbs) Anti-gravity: Lift objects, grimm, or people up to 15 meters up in the air within the circumference. When the semblance count ends, the person in the trap slowly descends near the end of the count. She is able to keep the glyphs apart from each other by up to 20 meters.
█ *DRAWBACKS ▬ Nerve paralysis kickback on a art of her body. It is a rigid type of paralysis that makes her immovable for 2 posts when it kicks in. This takes effect after every semblance usage for two posts. ▬ When using glyphs, she must use her weapon as a beacon, or fire a bullet with her semblance channeled onto it to help her point and aim her glyphs for summoning. ▬ The glyphs cannot be moved when created until level 3. ▬ She cannot move objects exceedingly over 600 pounds. ▬ Her glyphs can be neutralized or destroyed by any enemy exceeding 600 pounds, or by enemies one level above herself. --- Sasselia has to choose the effect on whether there is going to be gravity or antigravity set in the glyph before firing. ------- To break her glyphs, those above her current level can easily use their aura to break the glyph. Those on Sasselia's level or lower, it takes 2 posts of focusing aura to break the effects effects. Those with enhanced, or above average strength in skill have a more high resistance.
Ferra cocked her head as the teacher explained the lesson and the difference between what she'd been thinking of and what they were actually doing. Just then, she felt something bop her head, ears twitching just a moment before at the sound of crinkling paper before they lay flat on her head as she otherwise didn't react to the bop from her teammate. "Why'd Kiri bop Ferra? Ferra was just asking the teacher what we were supposed to do." As she did, students began filing up. Some boy, then two members of her team and a bunny girl who had hopped over them. The last being a really energetic girl named Tabby. The steam one wasn't all that flashy and she didn't quite grasp what Kirien had said for hers, though, Nox made magnetic dust? Was that a thing? It was pretty cool and the Bunny girl's display made Ferra gawk in amazement as, to her, the initial part of the display looked like a bunch of pointy disco balls that reflected light as they spun before slamming into the ground. By far, the flashiest was Tabby though who basically set off a bomb in her demonstration nearby.
Anyone who looked at Ferra would see her profile had nearly tripled in size as the static made her mass of loose hair poof out dramatically as well as her already bushy tail. After a few moments, she shook herself, most of her hair and fur settling a bit before hopping up and waving her hand with, somehow, even more energy than before. She darted up to the front on all fours, nearly leaping on the table before the multitude of times she'd gotten bopped back home and in her team's dorm for doing exactly that crossed her mind and, she instead stood up. She thought for a moment and grabbed the red and white ones. As she got closer to the teacher, the smell of baked goods would only get stronger as she had her bag with her."Ferra is Ferra. She's gonna try to make a fire tornado!" Without a second thought, she ran as before, on all fours with the dust in hand a ways. She lifted the white shard and waved her hand in a circle, focusing on feeding it her aura and a tornado began to form. She then did the same with the red and the tornado began to ignite. A few seconds into this, she wasn't really aware of the balance of the two and wound up creating denser pockets of air in the tornado which began to detonate as the column of fire spun. About six or seven went off before she lowered her hands and the column slowed and fizzled out. Rσϙ Oυɾɾσƙ was in such a daze he didn't realize anything that was happening with his team. He took a step forward and almost tripped due to being focused on his pink flowering branch. Fortunately he caught himself. He took another deep breath of the flowers. He was utterly lost in himself. His pupils were dilated and inside them was a galaxy of flowers.
Roq didn't seem like he was paying attention, but he must have caught on after several examples because after all others had gone forth he too approached the front.
"When wind meets fire..." He whispered to himself as he sprinkled some powdered wind dust and snapped. A small tornado appeared before him. One of his hands moved in a circular motion to facilitate to the tornado. It was as if the wind had a special meaning, and the same was true with fire. Some of the flower petals from his branch were sucked into the small tornado and beautifully floated around and around.He then pinched some powdered fire dust and added it to the mix. The tornado erupted into flames, creating a fiery tornado that immediately burnt up the petals inside. He let this small tornado float off a few feet as he watched longingly and then it faded. He had always been fascinated by the affects of wind and fire dust combined, one of the few tricks he learned as a kid.
--------- Poppy listened to everyone's answers as the class would share their thoughts. She would really try to take it in as she didn't know any of these combinations, Poppy had lived as a slave for so long she never had the opportunity to experiment with dust, she had only been used to heal any effects caused from it. She would remain silent and hope that her turn did not arrive as she continued to stand close to her own team. The reactions that some of the combinations presented would take Poppy by surprise, she wondered if it was worth using them in her weapon for future fights.
Her attention would still remain on Roq mostly, who was in a strange mood and she couldn't think why. Tabby would make funny comments and Poppy would smile along with her friend, however the swan would stay quiet as the teacher would share her knowledge.

With her explanation done, Kail would look to the next student that would come up. She felt an increase in aura from the woman. This woman was Ms. De Lucia. Kail looked excited as another snake faunus was in front of her. She would have a smile on her face. Then she felt her keys in her pocket try to go closer to the dust. That was an effect that was possible it seemed. "Yes, I felt my keys move with that, as well as hearing the object you used to swing it around." She would use her cane to get closer to the girl. "Though it is a little unfair to use your semblance for it. Also, please...next time you have a mission, please include me, my semblance effects our kind as well." The last part was a little quiet, perhaps the teacher was tired of having to stay at the school because they didn't deem that a mission was safe for her to go on.
Once Nox sat back down, the next person was called upon. When she stated her name, especially the last name, a shiver went up her spine. Kail would try to actively avoid her touch. The teacher had never taken any form of drugs or alcohol, but she was not about to test what would happen to her. Kail could kind of feel the ice hitting the ground, however...that could just be stone dust used to make a tremor. "I apologize, while I feel the tremors, I can not confirm that you didn't just use Stone dust to do so." She would look towards the aura of Ms. Argenia. "Ms. Argenia, can you confirm that Ms. Kiyoko used two different types of dust?" Once Ms. Argenia confirmed, Kail would nod her head. Then she heard the last part that Rena said. The Teacher's eye would twitch a little. "Just because you can not grasp why dust is apart of this class does not change the fact that it is." Did this girl not realize that Kail would be the one to help her with her semblance as it was harmful to others and could not be turned off?
Then another one would come up. She smelled of Fish and lemons. She was an excitable one that was for sure. She would walk a little off, explaining that she loved her weapons, and using Electricity dust. She would take two of them, and explain an overheat ability combining fire and lightening. She would feel it explode off a distance. She then felt the heat and humidity go up. She would pull on her collar a little bit. It was hotter than it was before. "Very good Ms. Kittyana."
Then she would hear a voice from the middle of the group. She would skin trying to find the aura from the person that spoke. She would kind of stare straight at the group. "I do not know who is speaking. While you are correct, you can create Ionized water, I did ask for people raise their hands, come up and demonstrate it in a way that could be felt. If you can demonstrate it in a way that I can feel that, then go ahead, otherwise, you will need to pick another combination."
Then she would hear someone jump up on her table, smell of the sweets still in the air. She would hear and smell her get off the table, go only a small distance away, and then she would feel the air pick up, with a warmth on it. Kail would put her body on the table, protecting the dust Without her knowing, the bag that contained Marcus, the handle was under her foot. However, one of her skull bags flew towards the tornado. The scent of burning cloth and plastic could be smelled. Kail's slit eyes would widen as she looked towards the smell. Once it settled, the teach seemed to try to run towards a scent. On the ground was a pale, yet very burned snake. Kail would hold the snake to her chest, tears in her eyes. The snake would flick it's tongue towards her, letting her know that she was still alive. "Ms. Grey, leave my class." Her voice was small, yet angry.
Kail would go back to the table, holding the snake in her hands. Kail was shaking. She would feel the smaller version of what Ferra just did. It wasn't even able to pick up a large crystal. She would then shift towards the class. "This is fine class...I will need a moment, to heal one of my snakes...If you wish to watch, I will be doing it with my own aura." Kail would take the snake and sit before the table, using her cane to find a spot for her. She would lay the Fea's snake on the ground, her tongue flicking the response for stay. She would then lay her hand on the snake. "For those who are wondering, yes, you can heal another with your aura, however, the drain takes a lot of aura to do so. Felica, this snake and all of my other snakes are enhanced by my aura, therefore, they use my aura for combat. It does mean that I am going to use my own aura to heal her." If the teacher wasn't making sense, it was clear that the teacher was extremely upset. She would touch the snake, allowing the aura to pass from her to the snake to heal her.

Ferra hadn't really even realized she'd made something as powerful as she had. She'd meant to keep it fairly small. While she had noticed some of the debris being lifted up, she hadn't noticed a snake was a part of it. However, she knew something went wrong as she returned the crystal and the teacher got up and rushed over to where she'd been. She shrank back as she saw the injured snake, knowing she'd messed up. While it wasn't the same tone, Ferra recognized the tension in the teacher's voice all too well. It was the same tension her mother had when she was just done dealing with things and needed to be left alone. She knew the teacher didn't want to speak to her, but, she also knew she couldn't just leave without apologizing. This was not the time to try to explain what went wrong or a long-winded apology. The teacher simply wanted her gone to avoid anything else. Tail coiled anxiously around her leg and ears flat with tears in her own eyes for what she'd done, she spoke very softly. "F-Ferra didn't mean to...Sh-she's really really sorry. Ferra hopes the snake is okay..." With that, the ferret took to all fours again and darted off, wanting to just find some dark hole to hide herself in in shame. She knew she failed this class, there was no recovering from harming one of the teacher's pets. Even as unintentional as it was.
