Piper was quite fond of hand holding, it also helped her to keep her pace at a level Kaname would be comfortable with. When she came to these events alone she had a bad habit of just sprinting through the crowds to get to everything as fast as possible. She didn't want to lose Kaname by doing so though so she walked a normal pace for a change.
She let Kaname go first in line, quite happy to see how her companion did for the evening. She listened to the instructions as well, although she must have played games similar to this one several times by now. It wasn't a hard game to play and you either left with a prize or didn't have landing a duck!
Despite that she cheered for her new friend as they cast their line out for a duck. "Good job Kaname!" Piper smiled when they showed of the ring that they had won. Pink was a cute color and somehow it definitely suited them. When she cast out for her own duck though she wasn't quite as lucky. Her duck didn't have a sticker on the bottom, which meant no prize for her! Oh well, maybe she'd score something at the next game!
Leilah had not been expecting to receive a gift from Ganymede as well! She stared at the offered candy for just a second too long before taking it. Oh my goodness a gift from Gany! Ah, she was definitely excited to have received the gift, too bad he tail had to go and ruin the moment. "Ah, sorry! I was just so excited I couldn't help myself!" She stepped a bit away from Gany so that her tail could give another happy sway without brushing up against the Geist. "But you know it is pretty soft...." And of course Gany knew that! That's sort of how they'd become friends. In a weird way.
"I'm Leilah, it's nice to meet you Shard." Leilah usually preferred getting a little more personal with her greetings then a handshake, but since it was what Shard offered she went for it anyone. Only to be totally flustered when he asked if they would like some alone time. "Oh my goodness no. W-we're juuuuust friends. In fact Gany has a special friend already I was just here to give him a gift as a friend. Just a friend. Mhm...." Her and Gany in that sort of a relationship? She might have had a small crush on him when they were kids, but she had grown out of it easier once they'd gotten older. She was looking for an escape now, nope. She definitely didn't have those sort of feeling for Gany! She looked around until she spotted a rather vibrant colored hybrid that she was familiar with.
"Oh look! There's Foras! I have something to give him as well! Catch ya later Gany!" She might have walked away from that just a little bit too fast and possibly a little too stiff. After making it about five steps she nearly tripped over her own tail but she managed to avoid falling at least. oh goodness, how embarrassing. She also hadn't found a gift for Foras yet, but she couldn't exactly not go over to him now! Oh! There was a booth giving out jewelry. She picked up the red bracelet and then continued on her way.

Ahhhhhhhhh, Shaaaaard. Ilu, but omg Leilah is all like why would you say that in front of him nooooooooooooo.
The next game that she went after with Bailey she actually managed to fail miserably at! What a shame, cause those plushies were super cute! She definitely wanted one. Despite that fact that she could probably find a different game offering the same plushies she wasn't willing to give up on them just yet. "Bailey you have to win one for me!" She pushed her twin up to the game so that he could play next! Yes, net her one of those cute little fennekit plushies!
She stood back and cheered for him while he swung the hammer. Score something good brother!

Bailey had actually planned on sitting out on this one. He didn't think he'd be able to make the bell ring and he wasn't surprised at all when Lori failed. While they were Chimera, they were actually a bit on the small size of their race. They had good stamina, but neither of them were particularly strong by any means. Of course, Lori pushed him into playing anyway. With a bit of a sigh he stepped up and took the hammer. He swung it and while he didn't make the bell ring, he did get it high enough to win a prize.
"Here you go Lori." He handed the plushie over to his sister whom seemed totally delighted.

Jacinta was still having a good time wandering around on her own. He goal was to collect all the cute accessories that she could get her little hands on. There were plenty of games and booths giving them out as prizes. She didn't really feel up to playing the games, but she managed to find a booth that had a number of colorful rings to give away. Of course she picked out the purple one, she loved purple, and slipped it onto one of her fingers. It was super cute!
Raleka watched as Morginn handed the rose to Renge, and she couldn't help but think it made her feel included. Both she and Renge had received an enchanted flower from the Fey, and they were on equal footing. And now, they would be making plushes for each other. The idea gave the hybrid a sense of camaraderie she hadn't felt in a long time. She simply smiled and kept cutting, following the pattern as well as she could.
Raleka had never sewn before. It wasn't that she necessarily avoided crafts, it's just that she felt she wasn't very good at it. But she had put some thought into the fabric she had picked out, and she wanted to at least make it look nice. Just before she was finished cutting, a Baphomet in rather bright pink garb approached her and handed her a fluffbug plush with a wink. It looks like you could use one of these! they said, before traipsing away. Raleka smiled just barely, and perched the plush on top of her growing collection.
She returned her attention to the needle problem she had. The eye of the needle was so small, how could anyone manage to do this correctly? The festival worker in charge of the booth was carefully giving instructions to a rather confused-looking Grimm down the way, and the hybrid didn't want to bother them. Instead, she put special intent on putting the needle through the thread. "Do you know how to do this?" Raleka giggled in Morginn's direction.
Claiming 6 points for today. This makes a total of 38 points this week.
There were too many people near the books for her to get as close as she wanted so she grabbed some candy from a booth instead. There were still a lot of other nightmares around the area so she drifted with the crowd trying to find a nice quite place to settle down for a bit before trying to brave the crowd again and get something else from the festival. She spied at least one little freshling heading out alone. The little one nearly blended in with all the colors about today. Smiling she didn’t want to scare the kid, but festivals were something that should be fun and remembered. “Excuse me.” Her voice was gentle as she offered the still unopened candies she had just picked up. “It seems I got a few too many sweets. Would you like them?”

Kroll was lost in giving attention to her new little companion. Really she didn’t know what she was going to do with all her pets when she decided to head back home. Maybe she could get a surface home that way she wouldn’t have to worry about transport? She sighed thinking about it. Not only that but when she held parties she would have to be careful that the troublemakers were locked up somewhere safe or something. Maybe she aught to give a few of the angels away? She frowned thinking about it. Still the vespercat didn’t seem to pay attention as long as it was getting petted.

Morginn was already partially through with one of his plushies. He had all the different parts sewn and stuffed, now they just had to be assembled; picking out the fabric had taken him more time. Well, one of them was going to made of several different fabrics so that way probably why. He looked over to Raleka and noticed her battle with needle and thread. He grinned in response to her inquiry. "Sure! I make my own clothes a lot of the time, or at least alter them myself, so plushies aren't too hard. When you get the fabric you want just cut them out into these shapes," he spread out the pile of fabric that would be the second plushie so both girls could see, in case Renge needed any help as well. "Each part is made up of two bits of fabric. You just sew the two pieces of fabric together for each piece, stuff them, then sew all the pieces together." He held out the plushie he was working on assembling; one leg was already partially attached.
Morginn didn't mention the flitterrat he'd found sleeping in the fabric while he'd gone through it; he didn't know how either would react, but just to be safe he snuck it in his bag under the pretext of pulling fabric towards him and checking on the plushies in his bag. The little fellow must have been looking for nesting material. They seemed quite happy in Morginn's bag though. Oddly enough he'd found a necklace with the flitterrat as well. Maybe they'd picked it up because they liked the colors?
Finally bringing the flitterrat in from a previous post. Hopefully Morginn was sneaky enough.
Topaz nodded. "Sounds like a plan. I'm usually a quick reader, so I might even have finished reading it by some point tomorrow, depending on when I decide to go to bed. Are you staying in town for the festival or are you only here for the one day?"
A gentle pressure on Topaz's leg caused her to look down. A coatl had wrapped itself around her fluff, apparently looking for warmth and attention. "Wow, there are a lot of these things around!" She peered closer at it. The lavender shading was familiar. "I think this might be the same one that snuck into my bag earlier. Maybe they took a liking to me?"
"Maybe," Jaden said with a nod. Well, the plushie was about as nice as it was going to look for now. He crawled a rung or two up his ladder and set it on his bed. "There was so much going on that it's possible Sprinkles was hit by a plushie himself while we weren't looking! Good thing they're so soft. I wonder why they're allowed to just throw stuff though. Someone could get hurt."
He hopped back to the floor and settled down, working on giving Blueberry attention since she seemed to expect it. "Do you want to make cocoa now, or do you want to just warm up a bit and save it for before bedtime," Jaden asked, perfectly fine with taking a little break from the crowds and being able to warm up.
Mystery plushie in Jaden's inventory! I'll explain how it got there later, too many plushies all at once XD Also this reply will probably seem out of order, responding to a reply on page 40
Freddy patted Nef consolingly. "It's okay, this one looks a bit harder than the last game. Let me give it a shot." He went over and tapped on the counter of the booth to get the owner's attention, and was handed a colorful ball. He held it in his hand and concentrated hard on where he wanted it to go. This was a serious moment. He wasn't just winning for him or to prove his aim was awesome. He was doing this for Nef and Percy. After a few more seconds on silent intent, he threw the ball.
It landed in the correct cup!
Freddy turned back to his friends, grinning broadly. "Alright! I think between all of us we totally have these games beat!" He turned back to select his prize; a pretty little gem that was almost the exact shade of Percy's hair. He offered the gem to Percy. "Here you go!"
(( This post is a bit out of order. Was responding to a reply from Caf on page 40 ))
Gaeleath had found a little bench to sit on while he enjoyed his hot chocolate. His feet dangled, he was fairly small, and he swung them back and forth as he let himself rest. He was a little surprised when someone approached him, but he was at least familiar with Fallen. Even if this one wasn't from Above, they probably weren't -that- different, were they? He definitely smiled when they offered him some candy. Yum!
"Thank you! They look so yummy!" He readily accepted the sweets, but realized he didn't really have anything good to give in return. "I don't have anything I can give you back, would you like to play some games with me? My name's Gaeleath! But a lot of people just call me Gael!" All he'd really collected that day were fluffbug plushies, and he was too fond of them to hand them over to someone he'd just met. They seemed really nice though, and so he wouldn't mind spending more time with them in order to find a gift!
Kaname watched as Piper played - she seemed very skilled at it. Maybe she'd played this game before? Hopefully it wasn't boring. "Oh no, that's too bad.." They frowned a little and offered a sympathetic pap on the shoulder when it was revealed that her duck didn't have a prize on the bottom. "Maybe next time...?"
They looked around - what else did they want to play...? Oh, across the way there was a ring toss game, maybe that would be fun? "We could play th--that?" They pointed, then noticed something glinting on the ground in front of them. They leaned over to pick it up - it was a rock! "Oh... th--this is pretty..."

Leave... them alone? Immediately Ganymede lit up in an array of alarmed lights, eyes widening in horror. "What!?" He snapped, looking from Shard to Leilah, and then back again. "Just friends! Definitely just friends!" He waved his hands a little, as best as he could with all of those plushies under his arm. "I-- I okay- b-b-bye Leilah...!" He just about squeaked in alarm.
Oh Nine. Foras, too?! Of course he was with Alioth -- and... some child or whatever that was on his hip. Oh Gods she almost fell. He was still lit up as bright as could be - but attempted to calm himself down as he looked back to Shard. "W--we've.. uh... been friends... s-since freshling years..."
