Here was something Xuza didn't count on. Apparently she wasn't the only heat/fire user on the field, neither was she the most potent, as Fooey heated up to white hot temperatures. She put that in the neighborhood of 1,100 to 1,500 Celsius. Needless to say, that was pretty hot, but what really compounded the issue was her opponent's size. So massive was Fooey that for his entire body to hold enough energy to get upt to that temp. he would have to radiating a truly staggering amount.
Needless to say it made her step back. She was really in the inferno now, and was trying to stay as far away from Fooey as she could. The air was a fine option, if only she could trust herself not to be swept away by madness in using the mechanism that allowed for flight. But to answer Fooey's internal question, she would be able to warp just fine.
It wasn't unreasonable to say that Fooey was fast in this new "form," he might have even been called a speed demon, but even so this wasn't fast enough to close the gap to Xuza before she could take a simple step. For whatever reason she felt a breif splash of coolness as she traveled through her little invisible path to the opposite end of the arena. This would go on for as long as Fooey allowed it. Perhaps she would explain her abilities in greater detail later; then next time it might not have been that he would force her to power up.
Though she wasn't a fan of all this ambient heat. With Fooey's charge(s) painting the air wavey with thermal energy, it wasn't long before the entire arena was too hot for a person to survive for long in. Indeed Xuza was very much a "normal human" in regards to her stamina and defences. She could no sooner take this intense heat than she could endure one of Fooey's direct hits. Though, when one can warp at will to anyplace in an instant without the slightest expense of energy, it seemed a modest price to pay.
Still, something needed to be done. The winged meister was at her limit. If she didn't take that leap she would have to suffer a loss straight up... That was something she wouldn't do. After she gathered enough energy she opened her wings and warped up into the air again. Suppose it was time to work on that toughness.
With a fairly smooth motion she changed clothes, high enough that no one would see anything--hopefully. Soon she was flying around, dipped in black leather, at incredible speeds. She wasn't going this fast before. In and out of her little loop, she was picking up speed. The outfit's purpose was clear now, as means of protection from the hard air she was pushing herself through. When she found her sword had enough heat stored in it she warped to Fooey's level and came at him with her same furious speed. Close to impact, she let the sword go like a bomb and warped away. She hoped it would work, as this stratedgy put quite the strain on her body.

One of the disadvantages of Fooey's most recent techniques was that it made things much harder for him to see. At best he caught quick glimpses of his opponent as he spun. While it was enough for a ground chase, chasing a flying, teleporting opponent was another matter entirely. Still, he had options. As Xuza went up into the air, Fooey began spinning rapidly in one place like a super-heated top. He spun as fast as he could, raising the temperature higher and higher. He was unaware of Xuza's attack until it slammed into him, sending him spinning almost comically into the air with the force of the impact. He didn't stop spinning even as he came down, slamming back into the ground like a meteor. Then suddenly the spinning slowed of its own accord until it came to a stop. The large demon slowly uncurled onto his back. "Owwww....." he moaned. "What did you hit me with...? I feel like a cue ball...."
And that was it, a successful move. Sure, she could've done this from the beginning, but where was the fun in that? Plus, this was a path to unending madness, so there's that. Over the course of their fight, especially during this last maneuver, Xuza'd learned quite a lot; that sometimes one could judge a book by its cover, and with that that sometimes it was best to simply take the path of least resistance. She touched down some fifty feet from the giant, metallic beast.
"Ah..." Removal of that stifling helmet always brought a wave of relief to her. "You like that, do ya?" Teased the meister, her head dripping with sweat now. It was clear to see in her eyes, though, that this battle needn't go any further. A victory might've been hers today in this innocent skirmish, but at what cost?
"That's just physics for ya. You had a lot of energy, all packed in tightly like that... Don't you think it was just dying to leave?" She mused with crossed arms and a shift of weight. "Of course, it needed a little coaxing. That's why I had to ramp up my energy. With over--oh, I don't know--somewhere around eight-five thousand footpounds of force, I was able to more than just hit you." She pointed to the beast's side. "A large portion of that energy you had was shaken loose as well, and did quite a number on your body."
"So... I, uh, don't how to say this... But I don't wanna fight anymore. If I do I could lose control of my sanity forever." Xuza sighed, waiting for Fooey to respond with questions or whatever frustration he might have been feeling at the moment.

Fooey continued to lay on his back as Xuza talked. "Noooo I didn't like it at all," he groaned. At this point he could have gotten up if he wanted to but apparently he felt like lying on the ground for now. Steam was curling off of him and it was still too hot to approach too close to him, but he was rapidly cooling off. He listened to Xuza's explanation quietly before speaking. "I never did like physics," he replied. He finally turned his head to look at her when she said she didn't want to continue. "That's quite alright," he replied. "You certainly earned this victory." Fooey looked back up at the ceiling again. "Knowing one's limits is part of battle as well. It's no good to win the battle and lose yourself."
Suppose everyone had their expertise: Xuza with physics, this surprisingly well-mannered hulking mass of red-metal and muscle with his wisdom in battle. Xuza knew what was coming next. A momentary pause after Fooey's congratulations to hold her head, as if she was holding it together, at the temple. She began to sway a little, and as she opened her eyelids there was an instant in which the shivering of her pupil could be seen.
Just ignore it... Just ignore it...
"... I would have to agree with that." Something of a mantra she'd said to herself on more than one occasion, unfortunately, because of her ability; in the course of many a battle Xuza had gotten frightfully used to the stages of onsetting madness. First there was the tightness, usually in the back of the throat, then a sharp, stabbing pain at the base of the skull--which repeated itself as if someone were their literally hacking into the most primeval portion of Xuza's brain--and then that quietness... It was like the eye of a great hurricane, strangely peaceful, sometimes with a nice tingling sensation throughout most of her being. After that there was a click, and then terror.
"Thanks for taking me on. ... It was fun--most of it." Xuza was somewhere in the eye, and would likely pull through to land again, but it wasn't anything she wanted to do--even though she seems to have made a habit of bringing herself to the edge. Perhaps more quietly than expected, as she would have needed nearly all her concentration to stay sane, Xuza paced toward the exit. "Oh, and all those times you made me teleport? It actually powered up my other abilities, like flying and magnetism. ... Something to think about." She gave a wave and weary smile, and turned back to leave. "Ciao."

Walking into the Arena Kira would be, she was silent as she would make her way to the center standing in silence as she waited for the challenger. She never cared who any of the people were, as long as they could fight she wouldn't care nor mind. instead of sitting down or entertaining herself she would simply stand facing the direction whee Alexander would come from.

The sound of a tossing coin would echo through the corridor which lead into Arena. A signal that Alexander was ready to step into stage, once and for all he would prove himself worthy of being a fitting candidate for the Arena's roster. As he spotted Kira, a cocky grin would appear upon his lips, he was looking for this for almost an entire month, yet there was always the same excuse from the manager, she was busy.
-" Seems like you can't run from me today Kira, too bad for you. Should had payed more punks to keep you busy "-
And there she was, silent, boring, as always, gosh did he hated that, he just couldn't stand quiet people.

Kira simply stood there ignoring his words, she preferred silence from her end, it kept her focused, she unsheathed her gun blade and spun it with her finger, waiting for him to make a move, she would point one of her gunblades at him, moving it upward as to signal him to hurry up and make a move, she knew she was fast enough to counter the first strike. his talking would prove to annoy her in the long run but like before and many other matches she wanted to keep a clear head, because most of her contenders didn't stand long against her.

Alexander grinned as Kira stood there, quiet and annoying as always, doing that cocky gesture of confidence. Always looking to punish people on their first moves. While Kira was a splendid fighter, this sort of moves were a grave mistake on Alexander's case. He would of course capitalize on it by keeping on his monologue, that and he really hated quiet people.
-" Oh my, such a gentlemen "-
Alexander replied while placing his hand upon his chest with a flair pose, of course he was just being irritating. After all, he wasn't known for fighting clean. Alexander was all about pressure. He proceeded with his loud mouth as he was about to give a step forward.
-" you know, it actually suits you, who would look at you like a woman anyway. So... stiff. You could almost play the pet's role. if it weren't by the fact pets are actually lovable characters "-
The moment he gave his first step tho, something was odd. There was this quick gleam on light from the bottom of his boot, it had partially transformed the base of it into a blade which would fissure the ground before him resulting on a loud explosion which fired debris against Kira, along with a dust screen as an aftermath of the previous explosion.
The debris itself wasn't coordinated, but it packed quite the load of junk to hit her at least twice or trice if she stayed on the same spot.
His symphony of destruction had been activated, giving him the element of earth.

Gives Varossa the attribute of earth which slows enemies with every hit. SoD: If this battle skill is used while under the effects of Battle skill Ember: Devil's Inferno, the move is then changed into Infernal charge. Which slams the earth, creating an explosion that blast flaming debris at the opponent burning it on contact and decreasing its resistances and healing potential for the next 3 posts. This consumes the SoD effects.
Kira would watch as he would send debris at her, taking a step forward she grabbed her other gun, the moment she stepped forward towards the debris, she would disappear and appear on the other side of it pushing off of it to the next bit of debris, Every time she did this after she pushed off the bit of debris it would fall apart in the shape of an x. on the last one she pushed off hard enough to charge at him swinging her gun blades at him or where he would have been. It was clear she could avoid the entire bit of debris that was sent but she chose to insult him by going through it unharmed. After her swing with the swords she would jump backwards to gain distance, whether or not she managed to hit him or not, she didn't care, she gained the distance where she knew he was before the attack, the dust would settle quickly so she had nothing to worry about surprises.

Kira was quick, clever at times even. No surprise she had ranked above the average foe, but this wasn't the first time Alexander had used this move, he literally owned every single bit of his skills. The Cloud of dust was also a trap, since it allowed him to either set a direct confrontation one on one, when people jumped through his skill and attacked. Or, on Kira's case, allow him to track her moves and patterns which were directly reflected through the cloud of dust. Alexander could read the swirls within the cloud as to estimate Kira's movement with quite a high degree. Of course, he had to do math since the dust of cloud is rather slow, so add 3 seconds of delay from Kira's actual position. In short, he was able to track where she was 3 seconds ago. All he had to do now is measure the times in which how she got from point A to point B and C.
Kira would eventually emerge, Varosa would greet her straight on instead of the common sense or trying to block or dodge.
-" So, Kira, would it mean you'll try to take a cat or a dogs place? "-
Alexander asked, Kira was gracefully flying with dangerous aim as a pair of pistol blades menaced Alexander with cuts and burns. Still. Alexander didn't drift. And took the hit, but on a price. Alexander had used this time to calculate Kira's reaction time, given how she dealt with the debris. And so, He foresaw her current position 3 seconds ahead.
-" Here let me PET YOU A LITTLE!! "-
His fist, clenched and ready propelled with remarkable force on a dread uppercut. Kira was free to land her hit, but in exchange she would have to take Varosa's strength head on on her torso. Which, taking in account his symphony of destruction was active and held the element of earth not only would she feel the damage, but become slower because of the symphony's current effect.

Kira would receive the punch only to jump back further after it, she felt a little heavier, but it wasn't much that it would truly affect her abilities, rather no matter how heavy she seemed to be, she could still use her skill of moving quickly like she did before to the debris with ease, of course that was movement. She would then point one of her guns at the ground in between the two of them, firing having a burst of air hit the ground causing dust to come back up between them, Pressing the gems on the guns she would point them at where he would be at, Firing them one gun fired electricity which went much quicker than the other bullet the other was ice, which was aimed at his feet, which would be used to freeze his feet in place. the electricity would give him a shock which would give that extra time to hit his feet.

Alexander would smirk as he felt the hit land. While Kira was smart enough to use his force itself to jump further away. The debuff was already there.
-" C'mon sweetheart, weren't you a little braver when you swing your blades at me a while ago? "-
Varosa teased. His eyes still set on Kira, before he would sprint against her. He spotted her guns pointing at him, while he had already an idea of how fast she was with her blades, he had yet to figure her work with the trigger. Spotting as the first trigger was pulled, he tried to move aside, yet the shot was too fast for him to dodge out of mere eye. Still, served him well as a reminder. The sting slowed him half a second at most, when his body started forming hot air around his symphony's aura. The second short was made but just as soon as it landed on his feet, the ice was crushed as if she had just tossed some foam at him.
-" You have to do better than that "-
Varosa would rise on a strong dash against Kira, aiming to split her with an axe kick. She could see the blade forming from the knee to the heel, yet no mater how hot the wind was it it didn't seem to change his aura into fire.
"Stand aside!"
The kick would land, wether on Kira or against the ground, yet just as soon as it collides it would generate a powerful explosion which, if Kira evades, yet she's still within Alexander's vicinity, she would be knock up into the air. The explosion would also scatter debris with remarkably greater strength and speed than with the grave blade.

SoD: If this battle skill is used while under the effects of Battle skill Quake: Grave Blade, the move is then changed into Devil's Maw. A powerful swing slash before changing into a devastating strike at the ground generating an explosion that knocks the opponent in air. Slowing his movement during the next 3 posts if hit by the explosion. This consumes the SoD effects.
Kira would press the gem again as he charged, pointing the gun at his axe kick he was doing, firing her gun at it, having it hit his leg it would explode thanks to her guns, this would stop his kicks momentum as well as possibly pushing him back. it was clear she had incredible aim as well as knowledge of stopping momentum. she spun her gunblades in her hands as she looked at him seeming unfazed by his abilities nor did she care. she would stop spinning her bladeguns and would point them at him, only to fire both of them at her, but instead of any elements it was busts of air, which were hard to follow because it was air, she fired a multitude of shots at him rapidly.
