Being a snow angel on the beach made for a very interesting experience. Mostly because there was new meaning to the phrase sand in places you didn't know existed.

He saw something. It was shiny, it was glowing a faint blue, it was mostly buried by blown-over sand.
He attempted to extract it as gently as he could, partly for fear of breaking it, whatever it was, and partly for fear that it might explode.
