Kaosujin Ryu think wind and water were Constance's elements weren't they? Constance pulled back from Merrick, watching as he summoned his own weapon. She smiled widely and closed her eyes, trying to see if she could summon one as well. Her aura began to change, all shades of blue flickered around her as something began to shimmer in both hands. When she opened her eyes again, she held a pair of electric blue sais. It looked like they had been iced over on the blades. "Whoa," she said slowly as she examined them. Cassandra wrapped an arm around Lorcan's waist as he hugged her to him. Her eyes widened when she saw how Merrick and Constance were already able to summon a weapon. She still couldn't get over how strong the two were. Her gaze went back up to Lorcan and she smiled. "Well any training should do us good."Merida grinned and nodded. "I will go and get Amelia and Carolyn, see if they want to join us."

Alede OOC - I think so, which if you think about it would make ice... cold air, cold water... gonk
Merrick cocked an eyebrow at Constance's spirit weapons. "Makes sense that you'd have ice. You are cool headed and calm even in intense situations," he murmured. "Though it isn't hard to get ice to steam," he whispered in her ear, deliberately teasing her with a slightly dirty joke.

Kasumi nodded to Merida's offer, liking the idea.

Lorcán lightly ran his fingers over the small of Cassandra's back and hips. "Don't worry too much; I'm sure if you try you'll summon something just as impressive if not more so," he said with a slightly teasing voice though he was quiet about it.

Constance blushed slightly and then grinned at Merrick. Some of the things he said surprised and shocked her, but she loved it. "No, I am sure it isn't," she muttered to him, sliding a finger gently along his jaw. Merida nodded as she left the room to go and find Amelia and Carolyn. Cassandra smirked slightly as Lorcan ran his fingers over her back and hips. "Oh I am not worried," she said softly to him. "Just wondering what I will manage to summon..." Without her even realizing it a whitish blue glow had begun to surround her. When she noticed her hand glowing and felt something strange begin to form in her hand she stepped back. A bow and arrow appeared in her hand. Fine tendrils of electricity surrounded the weapon.

Merrick shivered slightly, momentarily shifting his hips close to hers. "Passion is precious, when there's time for it," he whispered softly. The unspoken 'and we'll be making time for it' was inaudible, but he had no doubt she knew it was there.

Kasumi blinked as she noticed Merrick's particular spirit weapon and her jaw momentarily dropped as she recognized it; centuries ago, her own great grandfather had had that nodaichi, reputed to be the most powerful fire element spirit weapon known to exist.

Lorcán cocked an eyebrow as he saw her spirit weapon. He tilted his head. "I'm not that surprised, considering you shocked my world," he said quietly.

Kaosujin Ryu oh and Amelia is much older than she seems Constance gave Merrick a brilliant smile she she brushed her hand over his. Him wanting her this much, and her wanting him just as much was a new, wonderful experience to her. She knew there would always be this Passion between them, threatening to break free. "Passion is one of the greatest things in the world." She said softly to him. Cassandra chuckled softly. "Only because you brightened mine first." She leaned up and gave him a quick kiss. Her gaze went to the door as it opened and Amelia stepped in. "I heard that you guys thought we needed to train?" Her head tilted slightly as Nala sat down and stared at Kasumi. "Nala," she said softly and the cat shook her head as she looked back at Amelia.

Merrick chuckled softly as he lightly ran his fingertips up her shoulders and spine. "It's amusing to think that demons don't seem to realize that passion can be one of the strongest things... a driving force," he murmured softly as he shifted the nodaichi to hang opposite from the sword he'd apparently inherited. He paused momentarily as he thought of something. "I think I know of a place we can train without having to deal with the demon problem here... and we already met a few of the natives," he said quietly, meaning the last part for Constance though he said it loudly enough for them all to hear clearly.

Kasumi cocked an eyebrow, not all that surprised since she had a suspicion that Amelia was more than she seemed. SHe cocked her head, noticing that Merrick unconsciously used a trick that most sword users often employed to 'stick' their swords to them similarly how magnets worked though the truth was that it was actually a type of control exercise.

Lorcán shifted so that the kusarigama was hanging from a small latch on his hip meant usually for a walking staff.

Constance had a feeling she knew where Merrick meant for them to go. She smiled a little at the thought. It would be a new place for her to visit. New things for her to learn. It was pretty exciting. "We had better ask if it is okay first. We don't want to intrude after all." Cassandra slung the bow over her back and as she did she realized there was a quiver of arrows there too. She grinned widely. She had always loved to shoot. So it was appropriate that her weapon looked like this. Amelia had made her way slowly to Kasumi's side without anyone else realizing it. She spoke softly to her so nobody would hear her. "I remember you. From Salem." Her head tilted to the side slightly as a half smile appeared on her face. "I was different then."

Merrick shrugged at Constance's words. "They won't mind, provided we take a slightly longer route and give a little warning... knowing them, they'll have a feast prepared since it's their nature... come to think of it, it's almost time for the Autumn Feast," he said thoughtfully. He cocked his head fractionally as he tilted his head at a soft knock on the door. His keen senses told him it wasn't Merida or Carolyn, but someone else.

Kasumi shrugged, making the movement seem normal as she shifted slightly closer to Amelia. "I know; you were one of the witnesses to my 'death'," she said with a slight giggle, not surprised at all. She was one of the rare combat specialists that was also a sensory type kitsune.

Lorcán tilted his head slightly. He glanced towards the door as the soft knock sounded, his eyes momentarily narrowing as the irises flickered from the deep brownish orange they naturally were to pale purple with four thin rings in the irises before shifting back. He noticed Merrick's eyes flickered midnight blue with three silvery tomoe for a second as well. If nothing else, then this training may allow us to control our unique 'sight' better, he thought. He could hear the conversation between Constance and Merrick clearly, though Amelia's voice was softer so he knew she'd said something to Kasumi, but not precisely what it was.

Constance nodded her head slowly. It would be nice to see Merrick"s two friends again, and it would be nice to be somewhere demons wouldn't appear. She was about to speak when she too heard the knock on the door. Her head tilted to the side slightly. "Hmm, it is too bad I couldn't help them all," Amelia murmured, referring to those who had died in the Salem witch trials. She had managed to throw glamours over some and get them to safety, but there was only so much she could do. She was one of the only true witches there and the others that could have helped didn't. "Now who could that be," Cassandra murmured as she moved to the door to open it. It definitely wasn't Merida or Carolyn, they would have just walked in.

Merrick cocked an eyebrow as he heard Jess' offer. "Seems they're sensitive, though considering their illusionary talents to blend in..." he said quietly.

Kasumi shrugged. "Death would have found them eventually, either in the form of old age or fools who grew suspicious of the 'out-of-norm' acts," she murmured, knowing Amelia would know what she meant, considering compared to the 'normal' society now, and how it had been then, was both strange and disturbing at times.

Lorcán blinked at the young woman, sensing something off about her, though it didn't seem as there was anything strange about her. He saw Kat watching the girl from the corner of her eye though she didn't seem to want to be noticed.

Jess tilted her shaggy reddish bronze hair and grinned momentarily as the door opened to reveal a beautiful redheaded woman. "You must be Cassandra; I see rumors that claimed you were beautiful weren't quite true," she said with amusement. She knew what the woman was, since it had been the woman's ancestors that had hidden the gateways to their realm, which mythology often misnamed as the 'Fae' realm. She wore dark reddish brown leather pants with dark gold kneepads and had bare feet at the moment over her tight dark green vest under the tan cloak she wore."Hobbs kinda suspected you'd want a place where those... things... aren't," she said, noticing Merrick and Constance watching them.

Constance chuckled softly. Well this definitely saved them the trouble of having to go and ask if they could go to Hobbs and Jess' world. She found that she really liked this girl. At first when she had met her, there had been a faint twinge of jealousy. That was before she and Merrick had claimed each other as mates. Cassandra's eyes widened slightly and then a slow smile appeared on her face. She knew what Jess was and where she was from. After all, her ancestors did like to keep records of what they be done. "It is a pleasure to meet you," Cassandra said with a small nod. "And we would be entirely grateful to go somewhere these things aren't for a little while." "True," Amelia said softly to Kasumi as she listened to Cassandra speak with the young woman in the doorway. "And even as they died I tried to ease their passing. Nobody should have to die as those innocent people did."

Merrick blinked as an idea came to him, one that he knew would surprise the other witches and his mother. "I have an idea that will likely interest the Abbeydwellers and surprise the elders and Okāsan," he murmured in Constance's ear, unconsciously using the formal Japanese term for 'mother'.

Kasumi chuckled softly. "It's sad to know that so many of them were innocent people either caught in affairs, or stuck with greedy people... or were simply people with a 'different' way of looking at things," she murmured.

Lorcán cocked his head slightly, thinking.

Jess grinned momentarily."There's a gateway a couple of blocks away, though the walk to the Abbey is a few hours from there" she said with a giggle, knowing Cassandra would know what she meant, though she knew just as well as Cassandra did that the current group had only a couple of them, specifically Cassandra herself and Merrick, that had been there before. "I really think all of you will like it... nowhere near the smell, and I don't mean the demon stench... they make rotten snake eggs smell pleasant," she said to everyone with a wry note in her voice. She saw Merrick shift his weight as if an idea had come to him as he flashed a grin her way. What do you have planned, varăș? she thought. She wondered if the beautiful girl next to him knew that she looked at Merrick as a sibling rather than a romantic interest.

"Oh really," Constance said softly to Merrick with a grin. She wondered what he was cooking up in that mind of his. Her gaze went around the room before she noticed that Jess was watching her. She smiled at Jess, giving her a slight nod of her head. It was a friendly greeting. "Yes," Amelia said softly. "but what is done is done. No use dwelling on it." "We should be ready shortly," Cassandra said as she stepped back from the door. "Okay the next time one of you guys can get Carolyn," Merida said as she breezed into the room. She smiled at Jess. "She sleeps like the dead." Carolyn walked in behind her, rolling her eyes. "Well excuse me for being tired."

Merrick saw Jess nod in return before Jess' tail flicked out and lightly swatted Carolyn from behind playfully, slipping back under her cloak and disappearing just as swiftly as it had appeared.

Kasumi shrugged slightly. "I don't like dwelling on what is lost already, though there are times when things get left behind," she murmured. She referred to lost souls between life and death, some of them quite malicious.

Lorcán chuckled at Carolyn's sarcastic tone. "Damn, woman. Be a little more sarcastic, I think the paint hasn't melted off the walls yet," he said with a lightly teasing tone.

Jess rolled her eyes before she let her tail lightly swat Carolyn's behind in a teasing way before she let it return under her cloak where it apparently disappeared. "Trust me, at least she doesn't snore like Hobbs... he snores worse than a train running on tracks made of chew toys," she said wryly, referring to the squeaky pet toys often used for play.

Carolyn turned her gaze to Jess, eyes narrowed. She smirked slightly and shook her head before looking back to Lorcan. "Oh I can try to be a little more sarcastic if you want me to." She said sweetly. Constance linked her arm with Merrick's as she watched the others. She couldn't wait to go to Jess' home to see it. "So, when do we want to leave?""Well I say whenever we can all get our things together," Cassandra said as she looked around at everyone, "And whenever Mr. Hobbs and Jess are ready for us to be there.""And I could have still been sleeping," Carolyn muttered with a shake of her head and a yawn.
