Could Dis pass up this opportunity? Nope. "ARELLLLLL~ Do I need to rescue you, give you a little mouth to mouth?" Go right a head and drown Arel, Dis was at the shore waiting.

Cricket walked over to sit on the flailing not-swimming Arel.
"Keep going, you're doing great." she commented, keeping her feet out of the water with a wary glance.

The body that was Arel was not moving. It might have been the scarf strangling or maybe the part where Cricket was sitting on his floating, lifeless body.
Arel's soul wished for a quick departure into the blessed other life, the one with the naked ice demon ladies okay like the ones in Hornz**.

"NO, HE'S MINE!" Cricket suddenly hissed back as she half-paddled her Arel-boat out of the water.
She wasn't standin' up in that s**t!! But still, probably needed to not-drown Arel.

When Bee began to whine, Taru stopped her scarf-tugging and just stared at the lifeboat that was Arel, realizing that...well. Her rescue attempt had clearly been a bit futile.
"Jackdamnit I think we killed him. AREL? ICEPOP?" She shook his head by one of his antlers, concerned and more than a little hopeful that he was playing icepossum.

Malcolm was actually pretty glad to see water - not that it showed on his face - mostly because the slime on him was starting to bother him. Sure, he didn't mind gunk most of the time, but it had been quite a while, and he was sure that... It was going to start to stink. Pulling his hair out of the ponytail, he walked into the water, sat down on all the treasure, and started washing the slime off.
Who cares if this water was all pretty and stuff. Not him. Nope.
Taking a deep breath, he dunked his head into the water, trying to wash his hair, only to realize that he could hear... Something. Still holding his breath, he stayed there, head underwater, trying to make out the words.

After her attempt, Vel soon noticed what was going on in the water. Arel was... not moving. He was just drifting there face down.
"Oh bloody Jack," she murmured. At least Cricket had him.

Just because Cricket had Arel didn't mean he was safe.

Norvie was speechless as they wandered into the cavern, his eyes glistening with wonder. "Ah... guys..." He started, as students already started splashing into what he could only consider radioactive water, "We er... where is the glow coming from? Is it the water itself? Maybe we shouldn't-" Too late. There was already some splashing going on.
Curiously, he stooped to pull an empty glass vial from his belt, filling it with the water to take a closer look to see if it still glowed independently from the pool. Once he gained what information he could from visually examining it, he did what instinct said the next logical course of action was, and took a drink.
He smacked his lips, considering the taste compared to normal water, before noting it had already seemed to have claimed a life. "Er... Is Arel alright over there?" Had he injested the water? Had Norvie just poisoned himself??
He really aught to pay closer attention to the people around him in situations like this.

A cave. They came all this jacking way... for a cave. Not the worst but eh. Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh. Rengath was debating turning around and going home. Watching people 'kill' Arel had it's merits, he'd give it that, but... he didn't really care for swim. He did however... want some. Just a bit. Looking around, he picked up a small piece of treasure laying about. Hey, it might fetch a good silver seed, so why not? Walking over to the shore, he watched the students wade around, and generally.... be themselves. "Why isn't we cant do anything without SOMEONE dying like..ever?" Arms crossed, Rengath huffed at them. "Cricket you're just going to make it worse. He'll might melt if the water isn't cold enough."

"Yeah! And you're hot for him so that's the reason why I should be taking care of my friend!" Cricket huffed once she was close enough to being 'out' of the water to be able to stand actually putting her feet in it to drag Arel out of it.
She then proceeded to roll him over onto his back.
"Pleeaaasseee don't make me give mouth to mouth, Arel......" It was the last thing either of them wanted.

Malcolm was committing suicide. Bella walked right past the boil, heavily considering holding him down until he stopped breathing, when Norvie started to bend forward to take samples of the water. Norvie was waaaay lamer than Malcolm - at least Malcolm was hot. So Bella did what any red-blooded Halloweentown ghoul would do. She hopped over to the shore, picked him up in one arm, and flung him out as far as she could into the water. The weight of him had her falling into it too, but she didn't care. She was already soaked! It was more important to get the nerd wet.
