"And its better that way." He confirmed. Giving Ava a completely serious expression before he reluctantly hauled himself up and off his chair to pitch in for the clean up. Which, as much as it sucked, getting chewed out for not helping and then getting a worse punishment was even more undesirable.
Though just as he started to near the tank to clean, something bubbled at his feet and---snails?

Arcana nodded, though his head was drawn to the ground lest HE should melt into the ground itself. Like mention before, the boil had carried the snake ghoul strong for three years. He even carried the torch of...of...of Love. His mind almost exploded at the thought. He could NEVER admit to Selene that he loved her. He wasn't....He wasn't strong enough for her like that!
When he was a teacher, He would...ask her....if she ever thought of him that way and perhaps things could happen. But that was in the future, and those were only fancy thoughts he fancied himself with to justify the reason he never outright told Selene that he...love...love...loved her. Jack, why was it so hard!
He breathed in, steeling himself as he bent to cradle her in his arms, steeling his body not to react...inapproiatly to hers touching his. About how she looked right into his- Oh my god there was booths on fire, if not already put out and slime things and just.
"Wha...What happened here?" He went to find his sister, taking long strides with Selene tucked into him like a doll. She was so small that...."Tarot...." He found his sister being helped out of a slime tank by Westhor and made a face at the boil. "Westhor." He frowned, looking over his sister.
Then he looked at the damage on the ground. A bunch of minipet saving flyers flying in the wind. What the jack!??!?
"Selene...Hol...Hold on to me. I am going to set you down again." He relished the thought of letting her go in the chaos but...in order to do more, he couldn't burden her with attempting to pick up things and still hold her.
In the end she would get more hurt.

Octavia was made of stern stuff, and whistling a tune happily she just made her way to the tank and began scrubbing it down, though she was glad when her turn was up and she was able to go back to some...nicer...cleaning.

Indeed there were snails. Moving on.
Stepping over them, the behemoth moved in to work on the tank. Scrubbing away at it until he deemed it 'passable.'

Tosel hadn't even realized what was going on, really he had been so focused on his reading, a most fascinating history about the rare breeding of scrags in the wild. He set down the journal and blinked as he noticed the festival was closed for the night...and everyone seemed to be cleaning up. Oh dear, how had things gotten so messy? Had he completely ignored his surroundings again?
Well that was exactly why he wasn't supposed to pick up anything new or interesting, he always ended up refocused. He brushed off and quickly moved to try and help with the cleanup process.
Spotting some gnomes in the distance he walked closer to see if they needed some help with the cleaning when a bright FLASH went off right in his face.
"ARG!" He rubbed at his eyes for a while trying to figure out what had just happened.

"Good luck, Arcie." She whispered just as he put her down, and she stood there, worrying her dress as she tried not to move very much. She wanted to help.. but.. but if she tried, she would just end up hurting someone or making more of a mess than anything.
So she stood there, and tried not to look as pathetic as she felt.

Bella had gone as far away from Cain as she could, before she finally stopped dragging Rowly around. She thought this would be a good time to let him go, but she was growing fond of the poor boil, and.. he would probably be great for cleaning up for her. So she kept him like she would a pretty trinket, and started picking at things to clean, halfheartedly. Quote: 31 - 40: Someone seems to have left an assortment of flyers all over the ground that repeatedly say the slogan "SAVE THE MINIPETS. MINIPETS ARE HALLOWEEN CITIZENS TOO". Yeah.. trash. Oh Malcolm. You're so obvious. She threw them all away.

Frowning at the behemoths flipped table, she pushed away from the ground in order to help out with the cleaning as well. Unsure of what Avery had gotten himself into, she made sure to keep away from him and that..slime. Instead, Ava came across a couple of gnomes whom didn't appear to be doing much cleaning. Just as they noticed her, she was suddenly blinded a flash of a camera.

"IT'S OKAY, ARCANA BRO!" He smiled proudly, beaming at everyone around him, "I got Tarot sister out safe!" Well, relatively safe; he couldn't help messing up her hair like that, even if he thought that Tarot looked pretty, even when covered in slime, and frizzy hair, besides, she was full of love! That made her pretty. *u*
He then eyed Arcana and Selene, before frowning, although his eyes soon widened as he cheered, "You... YOU MADE LOVE! YOU HELD ONTO EACH OTHER!" Sparks were flying off his hair as he smiled, happy for the two.
He was bad at reading the atmosphere.
[Bitti asked up to pretend that Matt sort of fell asleep at this point.]

The demon rolled. his eyes at her. "I do have mastery over it geeze. Unlike SOME people I dont start fire and let them just.... run all over the place." Not that he minded when they did... but he didn't try to start them. Honest. "Look at it this way, the slime won't be coming back anytime soon." It gurgle a bit. "Er, maybe it will. Vengence and all that." Picking under a nail, he kicked a slime and snails even thoug Alice was right there. "They would be better in a soup really."

Arcana was torn between things. Things such as...His sister, his sister being touched by Westhor, Westhor touching his sister, Westhor being here....
Then Selene. Pretty Selene who looked lost and helpless and it drove some sort of protectiveness in this reaper boil. He (while flushing like a mad man), bent down and hugged her tightly (not to tight that it would hurt her) and whispering in her ear. "I'll be back okay?" He just wanted to get some things cleaned so neither of them get in trouble for leaving....
It was really hard to leave the snake ghoul alone though.
Even worst when Westhor yelled at the top of his lungs that Arcana and Selene made love.
Made love.madelovemadelovemadelove.
"WE DID NOT WESTHOR!!!!!!!!!" Arcana took a bunch of the same save the minipets flyers and shoved them into Westhor's face. "She....she...SHE IS TOO GOOD FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME TO DO THAT WITH OKAY. DON'T PICK ON HER PURENESS OR ANYTHING OKAY!?!?" Arcana continued to embarassingly put papers in Westhor's face.
Promptly ignoring Selene and Tarot for fear that he would die in embarassment at that point.

Managing to recover from the flash Tosel found himself incredibly annoyed, useless gnomes. He adjusted his tie and moved towards another area to clean up. Looking down he noticed a lot of paper all over the ground, well it was a start. He bent to retrieve the paper and noticed they were all flyers with a most interesting message.
"SAVE THE MINIPETS. MINIPETS ARE HALLOWEEN CITIZENS TOO"
He rolled his eyes and started to gather up the rest of the strewn flyers. It wasn't that he didn't like his minipets, but they were just that to him, pets. Minipets did not qualify as citizens, and they did not need saving. Honestly whoever wrote such rubbish probably would have tried to steal the delicious floresce sushi right out from under him.
He trashed the stack of flyers he had picked up and brushed his hands off.
