NPC Mira Naigus Inteligence Department Headmaster The lecture continued as usual until Yata finally decided to talk, trying to stall some time for Xuza which was praised by Mira to some degree, sadly not one she would express. "mmm? I don't know. You tell me. Have you joined any squads? Have you hit on missions? Found a partner yet? Registered as a solo specialist? You know graduation from school it's just the begining of your career yet I haven't heard anything from you out of the steps you gave when you approached from behind."She would indulge him by giving some attention, but it wouldn't last long. Xuza finally exploded rather violently, yet understandable. Illo seemed to have this gift to run into problematic people infected with madness. Melanie, Xuza to mention a few. "While it's good to speak from your mind it's also important to keep your voice in check. Haven't you read the guides I've sent to your mail?"However she seemed to mind something as Xuza stated to have run into her friend. "Which one? or did you forgot to add an S at the end?"After all Illo wasn't the main concern she came looking for Xuza but Rather Han, whenever that guy went there was always trouble.

 ✹▸ ▹ Who am I with? ❝ Xuza and Naigus ❞ ✹▸ ▹ What is this place? ❝ DWMA Hallway ❞ ✹▸ ▹ Does this look okay? ❝Casual ❞
Yata scratched his head as Naigus bombarded him with questions about activities that he should have done after he graduated. "I don't really know which squad to join... I'm not capable to do very many missions right now... I've already made it this far without a weapon partner... I haven't had time to... I just got back from my last mission a few days ago... The noise from my steps were deliberate..." Yata muttered between Naigus's questions, keeping his voice quiet. Not out of fear, but more so that she would continue listing off her questions without branching into another topic. He jumped in surprise whenever Xuza exploded angrily. Yata took an instinctual half-step back and pulled his hand out of his pocket and left it dangling at his side.
While his reaction didn't seem threatening in the slightest, rather, it looked more fearful to those who took his movements at face value; those who had seen Yata fight from beginning to end knew that even as relaxed as he looked, he was poised and ready for anything that would come his way. That's just how he fought. Ever since he was little he would always enter a fight looking relaxed up until someone made the first move. Typically he started with one arm dangling to his side with his other leading his hand into his pocket, because the one arm was good enough to block an attack, giving the other arm enough time to remove his hand from his pocket to counter. However, it didn't seem that Yata would need to fight anyone at the moment as Xuza composed herself and shook off the outburst.
He glanced at Naigus for a moment with a semi-soft look that was more or less asking her to ease up for the moment. Not quite to the point that she didn't seem like the same person, but just enough that he could check on Xuza before Naigus started in with any other lectures or comments that could push her buttons again. Yata stepped forward and went to lay his hand on Xuza's shoulder, pausing for a moment when he realized that his body was still coursing with wavelength. The power surging through him subsided as he stopped resonating with his own soul. His hand landed softly on the young meister's shoulder after she vaguely relayed the encounter that the two of them had with... Presumably Illo. Yata didn't know exactly who Xuza was referring too, but it could have been any number of the people who were out on the training field a few days ago.
"Hey, are you alright?" Yata asked, a cloud of genuine worry darkening his already grey eyes. If there was madness in Xuza, what had caused it..? After Xuza's response, he would remove his hand from her shoulder and step back to where he had been before, effectively forming the third point to their triangular group. The worry in his eyes would fall away, but he still glanced at Xuza every so often to watch how she was doing. "Ooo, Naigus has friends," Yata stated with a smirk, jokingly of course. His face returned to a neutral seriousness after a moment. "You know the monk, then?" Yata's question purposefully left out Illo's name. He didn't personally know the guy, he just knew the name from when the witch controlling him spoke, so he didn't feel right saying his name so casually.

Xuza Uriel: "Angel of Death" "Oh... Yeah, thanks, Yata." Such a nice guy. Shibusen was supposed to be full of them, but it still surprised her when she met someone who actually gave a damn, because, and I think you'll all agree, it's a hardknock life.
"Yeah, well, maybe you shouldn't be so cold." Xuza rolled her eyes away from Mira. Something about being a graduate--age-wise--made it harder to mind these old people and their rules. A rusty red was the tamber of her voice. Together with Yata's eyes it was a nice urban decay-esque setting in here. But then the topic of Illo was brought up.
"Of course I meant Illo. We fought the other day. ... Wasn't much of a fight though." Realising something, Xuza rejoined with, "wait... Who else could you have meant? You know I don't know as many people as you, and you must've read a report about the incident by now, knowing that I was there. So, who else did you know there?" Make your robot jokes, but this logic was infallible.

NPC Mira Naigus Inteligence Department Headmaster "If you keep going with no partner and plan to stay that way you should had listed your resume as a solo specialist. You could had started your degree this month, now you have to wait until the next semester."There was no way that Yata would go away from this clean. Once Mira had spotten a talent she was restless until they were sent on good ways, Saddly enough her standarts usually were slightly above one's usual best. She wished extraordinary from people which very few could ellaborate. "You know perfectly who I am talking about Xuza, the man who confronted the Iron Phoenix and then disappeared. The blond male, Han Kirisuto"Finally Xuza was showing promising reactions. Lecturing on having read the report about the incident was brilliant. Was it really that hard to speak to Mira this way? "So, now that you two are here might as well tell me your sides of the story."Said Mira, already on business mode, skipping completely the topic regarding her friendships.

Yata shrugged his shoulders and reached for the tail of his grey shirt, lifting it up enough that Naigus would be able to see the bandages that were wrapped around his torso. The parts that weren't wrapped revealed some fading bruises. "Well my half of the story is pretty short. I went out to fight the monk after one of the students charged in head first," he let down his shirt and rolled up his long sleeves. His arms, except for around his shoulders, were clear of gauze. "I only really spoke to that blonde guy, Han, right before I went in. Illo knocked me around pretty bad. Broke a few of my ribs fractured a few more. Outside of that I made it out fine, at least I didn't die," Yata replied. He wasn't joking on the last part, but he didn't seem to serious about it either. More that he was just throwing it out as a "look on the bright side" kind of thing.
"Han did end up stopping the fight though. He had this machine that used sound as a means of stunning the enemy, I guess. It ended up knocking out my hearing in this ear for a couple days," he pointed at his ear. "But Illo wasn't in his right mind. From what I was told and what I gathered in our fight, he was being controlled. Not so much to attack us, but it was more like he was defending himself and the witch controlling him. He wouldn't out right attack us unless he was told to. Whenever the witch left, he wouldn't attack at all until we made a move towards him."
Having debriefed his part in the event, Yata looked to Xuza to listen to what she had to say. Whenever she showed up outside, she seemed like she was afraid of Illo. He wondered what all had happened outside of his fight with Illo, and more specifically what role the witch had to play in everything. She must have had some other aim than just taking control of the monk. Yata looked down at his hand as he remembered the numerous energetic arms that had surrounded Illo. That seemed like a very handy thing to have, but they seemed easy enough to handle. They didn't deal as much damage to Yata as Illo's fists had, but not by much. A small margin at best. Even so, he wondered what the monk was capable of in his right mind. If he was able to do all that without the ability to think for himself... He truly was monstrous.

Vιvιenex& Vɪoʟeт Beʟʟeʀose Nobody can stand in our way to the top!... ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Two pairs of footsteps emerged from the many twists and turns of the DWMA Academy, their owners wandering the halls in search for something to cure their boredom and lust for adventure. Mainly, it was to procrastinate all that homework that they had given the first year students who were still fresh off the drop here at the academy. It did feel somewhat ironic that they had dreamed so hard and worked even harder to be able to attend the academy that they have always wanted to learn at, but that was before they both discovered that all of the interesting and flashy things meisters and weapons did came after a lengthy period of lessons, tests, lectures, and Death knows what else. That sure as hell wasn't included on the package deal with this place. Still, it did feel quite nice to be out of the classroom until next time.
Rounding the corner, the two girls made their way down the hall. Viviene had her attention planted on the next few chapters of her textbook, doing her best to remain from running into anything like she had done the past few ten times. Her sister, Violet, was much to busy huffing her the lack of anything interesting popping up for them to take part in. She had her mind set on what was for dinner, as well as who the people were in front of them, having a little meeting in the middle of the hallway. As they came closer, she managed to hear something about two people telling a story. Interested, she came to a stop and pulled Viviene back, wanting to stay in the background and listened to the guy explain his story. From the sound it it, things seemed to be getting serious. Or it could just be a teacher scolding her students in the hall. EIther way, she wanted to hear this. Upon being forced back, Viviene nearly lost her balance, but managed to catch herself.

Xuza Uriel: "Angel of Death" (Alright folks. Let's get Kiru into the plot, huh? I didn't do it in this post directly because I didn't think it would look right for Xuza to suddenly wave them over, but I'll let you all figure out a nice segue. Sorry if that puts anyone out.) Xuza really felt for Yata, so casually shrugging off that loss. She could tell by the way he looked at his hands that he wasn't done thinking of it after he related what had happened on his end. Her face was pained, but she shook it off and went on with her account.
"... Um, yeah," she looked back to Mira, finding the words came slowly and finding that might have not been the best thing for her. She corrected herself by speaking up and more clearly, much to the advantage of the newcomers, whom Xuza had yet to notice.
"I was in the library with Han. He seemed like a pretty bad guy when I met him first but--" holding up a palm to stave off Mira's rushing -- "but anyway, I ran into him there. Long to short, we were comparing interests in research," she was interrogating him, "and we both sensed what was going on in the field."
"I, uh... I didn't want to face Illo. I've seen what he can do." She was burning holes in some tiles, but snapped her eyes up, face full of worry, pleading to the others, "you don't know! I've seen him make meteors appear in the sky without the slightest bit of effort. ... But he never was harmful. This time, under that witch's control, he was using all that power on us."
"And that's why I was there. The witch called Paradox." Her whole body seemed to tighten up, skin threatening to fly off as she mentioned her sworn enemy. "When I saw that she was behind Illo's attack I... Well, I ran in to try my hardest to kill her. I'll take any chance I can get." Her eyes were sharper than her rapier at this point, and she locked onto Mira's cold stare without any sign of letting up for a long moment.
"... That didn't go as planned. She's still too strong. She was able to control Illo and fight me off without the slightest indication of effort." She sighed, shifting her weight and remembering what she could with a hand on her bridge.
"And then she put a spell on me. I don't know what happened exactly, but all I could feel for the longest time was pain. I was like--like I was being ripped apart atom by atom." She shuddered a little, looking back up to the group. "Then things went black. I heard voices, so many you couldn't believe, and then I was in the Nurse's Office with Yata here. ... That's how it happened." At the very least it could make for an interesting mission, and with the head of intel there it was likely that she would be looking for the brave and bold of the school to head it up. And if not it was very likely that taking initiative here would get a certain pair of onlookers noticed by the highers here.

NPC Mira Naigus Inteligence Department Headmaster Things were getting out of hand, especially after mentioning it was Illo who ran rampant with no motives. Speaking about this witch gave her a bad feeling, especially with how similar the modus operandy was to Shaula Gorgon. But the chatter would have to wait for another time. "May I help you?"She asked as she turned towards the twins, the question however was more of an interrogation given the delicate information being handled. Yet it was clear that Paradox was running out of control and had to be dealth with before she became a noisy threat.

 ✹▸ ▹ Who am I with? ❝ Xuza, Naigus, and two strangers ❞ ✹▸ ▹ What is this place? ❝ DWMA Hallway ❞ ✹▸ ▹ Does this look okay? ❝Casual ❞
Yata listened as Xuza gave her side of what happened out on the training field. She knew the witch who had been controlling Illo? And it seemed that whatever tied the two together caused Xuza a great deal of anger. He wondered what had happened between the two before, but delving too far into her past could cause problems in the long run. When she mentioned her lapse in memory after being hit with Paradox's spell, his mind wound back time to just before he and Xuza jumped to the Nurse's Office. She had looked older.. Then soon after the switch in scenery, she was young again... Maybe that was a result of whatever spell the witch had cast.
It was about that time when Yata was snapped out of his train of thought when he felt the presences of two beings, presumably human, stopping a small ways away in the hallway. Now, this wouldn't have caught his attention normally, but they were close enough that he couldn't stop himself from turning his head in their direction. However, he didn't move to confront them. There was no need to. They were in a school full of meisters and weapons being taught the best the DWMA has to offer. If the group was being spied on, then he didn't think that the culprits would get very far.
When he tore his gaze away from their direction, however, he noticed that Naigus had already set her sights on them and was speaking in an aggressive tone, as if she were interrogating them for a crime. He smiled as he watched the scene. "Mira-san you're going to give them nightmares," Yata said. "Though, I guess it probably would be a good thing to find out what they want," Yata added as he finally turned to address the girls. "You two should probably answer her as honest as possible. Otherwise she won't be too happy." While Yata was looking at the pair with a serious expression, his voice was still quite upbeat. He was trying to pull off the responsible, stern adult thing, but he was failing. Still, if the girls had noticed, he was trying to give them advice that would help them get out of the situation they had found themselves in.

Vιvιenex& Vɪoʟeт Beʟʟeʀose Nobody can stand in our way to the top!... ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The sound of the woman's voice sent chills down the spine of both girls. The woman sounded upset at whatever it was that the four of them were discussing, and their little eavesdropping act certainly was not helping matters any. Violet swallowed hard, wondering how they were going to talk their way out of this situation. Of course, they could always say they were on their way to class and wanted to ask for directions before stumbling across the group. While it would be the go to answer, she did not want to risk being proven wrong by the official looking female. Who knows what would happen if she even attempted that. As her sister continued to weigh the options in her head, Viviene, obviously the more frightful and anxious of the two, seemed to ignore her sister's plan to answer the female and instead, confess what they were doing and beg for forgiveness. "We-We did not mean to intrude, Madame!" She began, her french accent noticeable in her trembling voice. "We were just walking around zee academy, and...and..." She trailed off, clearly intimidated by Mira's single question remark towards the both of them.
Next the sole male of the group began to speak, advising the two to come clean with what they wanted from them. Violet silently thought of how to explain themselves before taking over for Viviene. "What she means is zat we were giving ourzelves a tour of zee academy before finding you." She motioned to all three members before continuing on. "I take responsibility for zee eavesdropping, but I wanted to zee if it was anything we could assist with. I meant no 'arm" The student ended her explanation, her eyes locked onto Mira. While she did seem pretty scary, with that guy adding onto her image, Violet was much more durable and tenacious in her stand before the group than her sister. "We wish to help zee academy anyway possible. It has been our dream to attend, and here we are." Viviene could only watch as her sister explained themselves to Mira, silently cursing her curiosity which always seemed to get themselves into these sorts of messes. She looked at all three group members before adding on, "We are zorry. Please forgive us."

Xuza Uriel: "Angel of Death" Something special about new kids. ... Everything special about new kids! Specially talented, specially eager, specially annoying. They really had it all going, and all of it out in front of them. Xuza couldn't help shaking her head. The welcome wagon, complete with a couple old veteran students and the grizzled old raven in a knockout bodycon skirt.
She did her thing. In this case it was the shock immersion--or whatever--that put the fear of Death into the newbs just in case the gravity of the high roof and peely paintings hadn't set in; as likely they hadn't considering it was those things and many more spectactularities that dazzled the mind of the new student, turning them into tourists rather than tools of destruction.
Taking a tour, eh? Not the best answer, but at least they're honest. No one in their right mind would lie to Mira with something like that--at least not if they knew her.
"Mira, come on." Xuza was rubbing her temple with one hand at this point, looking very tired of the badcop thing. She wouldn't say anything else to her, but instead turned her attention to the two.
"... So you're new, right?" A quick once-over. "I'm Xuza, this here is Yata, and that, if you didn't know, is the infamous Mira Naigus." She couldn't help but giggle, showing that she was over her little madness spell for the moment.

NPC Mira Naigus Inteligence Department Headmaster As the twins stated their intentions and mistakes, Mira would only give them a look or two, yet since they were honest she wasn't going to scold them... not that much at least. Now, with the task at hand. She would have to deal with Paradox to keep randomly exploding monks from bombarding the city every time she pleased. "Very well we'll skip this incident but in exchange you two would have to meet up at the training fields after class. Which by the way you two shouldn't be missing."She added while turning back at Yatta. "This could actually be a good chance for you to show them around wouldn't it mr. Graduate?"Turning her eyes to the group in general things were getting a little too noisy so the best would be to leave this topic rest and have each continue with their current schedules. "Anyways I still have a lot of paperwork to do. Yatta, show them around. You two. training fields, after class. Xuza... get some yoga lessons or something."with that Mira would dismiss herself. There was a lot to dig and such little time.

 ✹▸ ▹ Who am I with? ❝ Xuza and two strangers ❞ ✹▸ ▹ What is this place? ❝ DWMA Hallway ❞ ✹▸ ▹ Does this look okay? ❝Casual ❞
As the two newcomers told their tale, Yata made sure to note their accent. Definitely foreign. His mind worked to pinpoint where they were from. It was definitely Eastern. European, most likely. Whenever Violet began speaking, that was when he figured it out. The accent is French. But are they from France, or from a different country? His turning gears had a wrench thrown in them whenever he heard Xuza giggle. He glanced at her and smiled to himself. 'I guess whatever that outburst was about has passed for the time being,' Yata thought. 'That's good.' He was waiting to see what kind of lecture these two kids were going to get for their eavesdropping. He was sure that Mira had a juicy one planned for them. But.... Nothing.
Yata pouted for a moment whenever Naigus told him to show the twins around, but soon was smiling again. She seemed a little more lenient on this incident than Yata had thought she would be. There must have been a lot on her plate. "Sure, I can show them around," he stated and waved at the twins. "Where all have you two been so far? Oh, and, um... What are your name's?" If he were to show those two around, then it would be best to know who they are. Yata watched out of the corner of his eye as Naigus walked off, and once she was out of sight he looked at Xuza.
"How much of an earful did you get before I showed up? Mira's lectures can border on the lengthy side sometimes," Yata asked, dropping the honorific from Naigus's name since she wasn't around. Even though he respected Naigus, he didn't plan on referring to her with the honorific unless she was within earshot.

Vιvιenex& Vɪoʟeт Beʟʟeʀose Nobody can stand in our way to the top!... ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Relieved that Mira had accepted their answer, as flimsy and pretty rubbish as it was, both girls let out an audible sigh as she instructed them to meet in the training fields after class as a sort of punishment for this, at least, that's how Violet interpreted it. Still, it beat being kicked out, which was a plus. "Thank you, Madame Naigus." Violet said, smiling at the woman as she ordered each and every person present. Yatta was tasked with showing them around the campus, Xuza was ordered to go do something, and they were to go to the training fields soon. On that note, she left everyone to their own devices and left to go do...whatever it was that she did.
Facing Xuza, Violet nodded at her question, then doing the same to Yata as he agreed to show them around the place. "It is nice to meet you both, Madame and Monsieur. I am Violet, and this is my sister, Viviene." She sidestepped to the left, revealing her meek looking twin for the two to see. "B-Bonjour..." The other twin said and managed to wave at both people. "Sorry..." Violet frowned in frustration for a brief moment before turning her attention back towards Yata as he asked where they had been before. They had toured the training field and Stein's office once before, but other than that, the rest of the academy was foreign to them. "All but Ztein's office and zee training fields, Monsieur." She answered. Meanwhile, Viviene looked at Xuza and asked, "Is everything okay, Madame? Zat spell you spoke of sounds painful."

Xuza Uriel: "Angel of Death"
Yoga...? You gotta be kidding me.
"It's nice to meet you both," said Xuza, sort of half-there after that last comment by Mira. She was still smiling though. She just had to be. Even when the topic of the curse came back up, which brought Xuza to think about Paradox more than she cared to--an irony subdued in dreams of vengeace--she was still able to shrug it off.
"Oh, we don't talk about that." She waved her hand at the wrist a couple times to shoo the idea away. "But it sounds to me like you guys need a grand tour!"
She gave a quick look to Yata, something like excitement in her eyes--though diamonds can be manufactured too--and set the two off on a whirlwind, masterfully edited, tour of the giant academy (just gonna skip this whole thing, if there are no objections). The Zircon Parade ended in the middle of the second block of classes, enough time for the girls to actually find their way to the class they were woefully late to.
"See you guys in a bit! ... Training field, don't be late~!" And then it was time for Yata's question. Xuza handed the Crow a folder full of some pretty official-looking documents and security camera images.
"Apparently the school's onto my little disappearing act. Mira was scolding me for not being able to control my powers fully... Could you blame her though?" She turned to her invisible corner. After the other day's fiasco it was a no-brainer to see how the issue of controlling one's powers was at the top of every teacher's chalkboard, on the clipboard of every secretary, in the injector hands of each nurse.
"... You seem to have a good handle on your abilities though," said Xuza flipping this around to be more positive than melancholy. She smiled at this heroic guy she barely knew and couldn't help feeling as though she'd known him for a very long time. "So you'll definitely show these kids the ropes, right?"
