Flint nodded at Shina and turned back to his Pokemon " all right guys lets get going, we dont want to get left behind." he said then took off his shoes, stuffing them into his bag for the moment and roling up his pants. He bent over to scoop the Deerling into his arms, the river was shallow but she wasn't exactly a large Pokemon and he didn't know what the current would be like. So just to be on the safe side he would carry her across. Rush snorted approvingly and followed as Flint set off wading through the shallow water.
Cha'Time joined up with the group now that they seemed to be moving and followed them across the river. Kwatoko stayed firmly on his shoulder, having no desire to go for a swim today.
(lets say its previously arranged that Cha'Time will ride with Flint on Rush because i don't feel like RPing it out XD also I'm fine with a time-skip)

Shina emerged from the other side of the river, pulled a towel out to dry her feet and ankles, put her shoes on, and rolled her pants back down. Mounting her bike, she looked across the great expanse of the Pilkiras Plains. Then she started pedaling.
((Okay, few more hours until the jump.))

((Okay, a couple of days have passed people! We are now reaching the shores of the Unnamed Lake!))
The remainder of the journey across the wide grass covered plains had been fairly uneventful. Foraging as they came upon the plentiful berry patches that dotted the plains had netted them a very nice store of berries. Tenka was incredibly protective of the nest saddlebag and the eggs it now contained. Now, the sun was sinking low in the sky over the massive lake they were approaching. The area they were now standing in was reasonably level, dry, and looked down on the beach. Shina decided it was as good a place to make camp as any.
"Alright everyone, we'll camp here tonight! You three are on fire duty, please build on the beach. No need to go through the bother of digging a fire pit tonight." The three selected trainers nodded and went to scour the beach for driftwood. At least they wouldn't need to go through the bother of digging through the grass to clear a safe area to build a fire tonight. The waves lapped soothingly against the shore.

As Anise was gathering some water plants by the shore, she heard a babble of sound from across the lake. Surprised, she looked up to find a large group of people and pokemon were pulling up and apparently making camp for the night. "Huh, I wonder what that's about?" she said. Not that she expected anyone to answer; the only creatures in earshot were pokemon, and if any of them spoke now she'd probably think she was crazy. Or that her old Chatot had come back for a visit.
Well, there was only one way to find the answer to the question. She tucked the plants she'd gathered in her bag, clung it over her shoulder and stood up. "Come on everyone, let's see what's going on over there." As she headed off along the shore of the lake towards the group, several pokemon came along with her. Near by her side padded a Delcatty, and Zoroark ranged a short distance away, keeping a wary eye on their surroundings. Above them swooped an Altaria, and trailing along behind, as if she just happened to be walking in the same direction and wasn't really with this group, trotted a Zebstrika.
As she neared the group, Anise looked for someone who might be in charge and found a young woman directing people to chores. She headed over and said, "Excuse me, what's going on here?"
(Eienna, is Chiyo still riding in the cart and looking unwell/dazed/unresponsive?)

((I wasn't sure how Chiyo was doing, as Eienna wasn't on, so I deliberately didn't mention anything about Shina's mode of transportation or how the Blitzle was doing. But yes, I am also interested in knowing how she is doing, so I know how things are doing, and if Shina is still riding a bike or if she is back on Rasha.))
"Hello," Shina greeted the stranger. "We're a caravan, exploring Zatao. I'm Shina Kiremono, the caravan leader. We've come from Katarina, across the Pilkiras Plains, and plan to eventually end up in Inhinx."

((Yeah, Chiyo hasn't moved much, but there have been one or two small incidences like the last morning on the Plains. Enough to be encouraging.))
Shikari sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Oh, hi," she said to the new arrival. "A lot of people here now." It took her a moment to completely come to her senses, but it didn't take too long. She was getting used to the routine now.
Her hand touched the spot where Chiyo normally lay, and nearly panicked. Where is she?! Feeling around a little bit more, the blind girl was startled nearly out of her skin by a snuffling muzzle on her neck. "Ch-Chiyo! SHINA! SHE'S UP!!!"

Shina's head whipped around. The small battered Blitzle had moved from the spot she had been laid in and was snuffling at Shikari's neck. "Oh, how wonderful!" Shina said, watching the little equine sniff at her owner.

Heal had been putting away his bike when he heard Shikari's exclamation and chuckled, getting up to go look at them. "She seems to be getting better. Good. Perhaps it would do good to feed her now that she is up and about." He looked around. "Once I set up a fishing line, if Shina doesn't mind, I think I can whip up some high calorie electric pokefood so she can started to up weight."

The Zebstrika heard the commotion and glanced over to where the yelling had started. She spotted a rather skinny Blitzle on a cart, grew concerned, and trotted over to sniff the little one all over. She detected the scent of recent illness, but the Blitzle seemed well-groomed and there was also the scent of medicines. It seemed the humans were taking good care of her, so the Zebstrika gave a satisfied snort.
Anise was about to answer Shina when the caravan leader was distracted. Anise waited until the other woman wasn't speaking any longer before saying, "A caravan? I haven't been on one of those in a while. Is this caravan doing anything specific, like when it gets to Inhix, or are you just exploring?" She paused and added, "I hope everyone brought cold weather gear, it's permanently frozen up by Inhix."

"I suspect most of the group has forgotten that, but I'll be doing a gear check in Motterossa to make sure everyone has winter wear and suitable gear," Shina told Anise. "We don't have a specific goal, this is just a caravan to see the sights and explore the continent."
To Heal, Shina said, "Oh, yes please, Heal. That would be very much appreciated. We can wait to start dinner for the rest of the group until after you do that."

"Thanks, Heal, that'd be great." Shikari noticed the Zebstrika, and though she didn't know what it was, she did notice that it had a smell (and, upon petting it, a face shape) similar to Chiyo's. "Are you a BIG Blitzle?" she inquired of the pokemon. "Like, uh...like the 'evolution' they were telling me about?" The girl was so happy she wanted to glomp Chiyo, but she restrained herself. The last thing she wanted was to overwhelm the tiny zebroid and send her back to her shell.

Heal smiled. "Thank you, Shina"
He watched Shikari and chuckled. "Yes, that's a Zebstrika, the evolution of a blitzle. Very large and stockier then Rapidash." He took out a collapsible fishing rod and set it up by the shore, throwing the line into the water once it was waited. Hooking a small bell, he went to get a pot and started to work on the electric type food.

"Huh. That is REALLY cool. So, Chiyo, how do you feel about being mine?" Shikari was given an answering, though tentative, snuggle from the little equine. She stroked her Blitzle, feeling like nothing in the world could ever be wrong again.

The Zebstrika would have backed away when Shikari want to pet her, but she noticed from the girl's movement and the way here eyes didn't seem to focus that she was blind, so she let the girl pat her. At the girls question, she nodded her head very deliberately. Then she turned back to Chiyo. 'Little one, you seem to have been ill. But you are recovering, yes? Are the humans treating you well?>'
Anise nodded. "Good that you've got one more place to get supplies. There's not many of them in Zatao yet, but if you're well prepared and can forage, you can travel for quite a while before needing to resupply." She glanced over at the shore, where she'd noticed cooking fores being built. "Actually, speaking of foraging, I saw a bunch of cattails along the shore. If you need food, they have several edible portions."
(OOC: Apparently the edible bits of cattails vary with the season. I just learned something! So I didn't specify a part because I don't know what season this takes place.)

Heal rested the pot on top of the ongoing fire and stirred the ingredients already inside it, throwing pinches of berries here and there, but for the most part keeping bland as to not upset Chiyo's stomach too much. The healer tilted his head, listening to the conversations around him, but mostly the one between Shina and Anise. "She is right, and if it isn't the right time for them, at the very least, we can harvest some for medicinal purpose instead.
