There was a moment of silence after he had spoken, and Shun wondered if it really had been wise to say what he did. He felt like he had just put himself on the line with that statement. He really was a fool. Love wasn't something he did. It wasn't something he knew. Love was...
Something she gave back to him.
The Reaper hadn't really expected her to repeat his words. Words he never had spoken to him, even on a familial level. It was strange, but at the same time, it brought a strong sense of warmth to his heart.
The confusion faded as he stared at her softly. The faintest of smiles touched his lips before he leaned in to kiss her once more.
Perhaps being a fool for this sort of thing.. wasn't so bad.

Mitsu was suddenly thankful she had come on this field trip. Through all the fighting within the team, the stress, the terrible rooms, and the battle field it had been worth it. At least she felt so. She wouldn't change a thing if it meant this moment would have never happened. Never would she have imagined it would turn out like this.
She felt an incredible amount of warmth from the moment, relief flooding her having finally spoken her true feelings. It had really happened. She had actually said it. And if hearing Shun's confession wasn't enough he stepped it up another notch with the faint smile tugging the corner of his lips. Surprise filled Mitsu's eyes as her own smile grew shortly before her lips were busy again with another task. A task she rather preferred at the moment. Yep, her teammates were currently forgotten.

Why was it dark suddenly?
Hel had been fending off Riyo (or harrassing her, whoknows) when she went quiet. Mot was about to looks, and that was when his world went black.
"Hey, What's going on?" Mot whined, tugging the hat up again.
Oh...
Mot tugged it back down, his face turning red. Shun and Mitsu were kissing again. Mot was not one to stare, in fact, it made him feel rather nervous. Such public affection! His little cowboil heart couldn't take it!

It seemed that Shun did end up learning something on this trip after all. It wasn't something he expected in the slightest, but he felt incredibly relieved to have figured this out at last. The frustrations earlier on and the potential danger that still lingered didn't matter. This was worth it.
Pulling back again, the subtle smile still lingered on his features as he rested his forehead against hers, opening his eyes to gaze deeply.
He remained silent for the time being, but he didn't feel that he needed to say anything.

Past? What? Riyo released mot's cheeks with a gentle slap to each of them before practically dancing over to Hel with the grace of a beached whale. "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel." The ghoul chimed gleefully and reached out to put hands on her shoulders.
And suddenly her look was grim.
"Hel." She repeated. "... You can dance if you want to."
Oh no she wasn't.
"You... You can leave your friends behind."
And then the ghoul leapt around so her back was facing the valkyrie. "CAUSE YOUR FRIENDS DON'T DANCE AND IF THEY DON'T D-"
That was when Riyo happened upon the scene of Shun and Mitsu.
Wow.
WOW.
WOW.
Abit awkwardly, the feline turned back around and looked as if she'd just witnessed her parents 'baking spookies' in the kitchen... Without their clothes on. "T-then they're... No friends of mine." Her voice cracked at the end, signaling that the experience might've been more sobering than she liked.

Hel’s gaze was taken away from Shun and Mitsu as Riyo suddenly planted herself within her field of vision and the reaper’s brow quirked as she stared up at the cat demoness.
Was she…?
Oh she was.
Hel just stared at Riyo as she did the safety dance for her, and couldn’t help but snort softly as the ghoul caught sight of the two a ways off, and seemed to sober up. She snorted. The reaper then reached out and placed her hands on the cat demoness’ shoulders, and stared up at her solemnly. “Riyo…” Hel started seriously. “We're no strangers to love, they know the rules and so do we. A full commitment's what Shun’s thinking of and Mitsu wouldn't get this from any other boil. I just wanna tell you how they’re feeling and I gotta make you understand.”
Did she…? Oh Hel yes.
"So I’m never gonna give you up and I’m never gonna let you down, alright?”

Riyo's face seemed to wipe of anything resembling emotion when Hel came back at her, looking at both hands on her shoulders before her eyes traveled back to the valkyrie's face.
"Hel..." The ghoul started sadly.
"WHAT IS LOVE? BABY DON'T HURT ME. DON'T HURT ME... NO MORE."

Hel narrowed her eyes, and couldn’t help but appreciate Riyo’s comeback. Not bad, not bad at all. Shun’s stare towards the two went unnoticed for now, as she was focused on her opponent in this battle of lyrics. The reaper stared back at the cat demoness for a long moment before speaking.
“I love you, you love me and we’re a happy family with a great big hug and a—“ Here Hel reached up and cupped Riyo’s face, and pulled the cat demoness now so that she could plant a nice big wet one right on her forehead. “Kiss from me to you. Won’t you say you love me too?”

The cat demon seemed pretty confident about winning this little battle they had going on, her eyes never tearing away from Hel as she waited for some kind of reply... And when she received it, boy... Did she ever receive it.
Riyo's face contorted into a look of pure, unadulterated horror as Hel's lips came closer to her face. Worse than that, there was nothing she could do to stop it. Like... Some kind of train wreck... Except she was in it!
There were a few brief moments of silence after Hel finished her turn... Followed by a loud, almost ear shattering screech as the feline jerked away and tried to wipe the remains of the valkyrie off her forehead.
"DANGER, DANGER!" She yelled as she ran around like a chicken with its head cut off. "HIGH VOLTAGE!"

And now they were singing.
Mot was... relieved. Really, it was funny, and they weren't fighting. The reaper laughed out loud at the antics, until it seemed like the doors were open. "Let's go do this!" Mot said with a grin.

The moment had been rather peaceful for Mitsu having tuned out whatever was happening around her. When the second kiss ended she contently rested her forehead against Shun's bright crimson eyes looking up at him. Until lyrics started to catch her ears. What were the others doing? ....Oh Jack...the others...
Mitsu had completely forgotten about the rest of her team and now that she realized they were there and had witnessed her making out....it was safe to say she was embarrassed. Her face turned a bright red and instead of looking to see what they were doing she merely hid her face in Shun's shirt. Yes, that seemed like the perfect alternative.
Her ears twitched though when the doors opened, seemed like it was time for them to go. Still determined to stick to her original choice Mitsu reached for Shun's hand. "Ready?" She wasn't going to leave his side no matter how crazy, frustrating, or traumatizing it could be.
Once Shun was ready to go Mitsu headed to the door, her fingers intertwining with his to keep him close.

Ahh…Hel had never seen such a sweeter expression on Riyo’s face. The look of pure, unadulterated horror was simply beautiful. The reaper grinned widely as she released the cat demoness after kissing her forehead and stood proudly, watching her start running around screaming. She was victorious.
Her attention shifted over to the doors though as they seemed to unlock. Ah! It was time! They could get out of this…terrible, trolling room and go onto their final trial! “Yes, let’s!” The reaper agreed, following her team mates through the door.

Shun continued to stare at the girls. He didn't really know what that was all about, but it was kind of ridiculous to witness. But at the very least, it was time for them to go. Narrowing his eyes at the door, he took in a deep breath and glanced over towards Mitsu as she took his hand.
Nodding, he gripped her hand as he headed towards the door. Whatever was on the other side, he was going to make sure he'd do what he could to keep her safe. They needed to return to the school, together.
