With delicious noms consumed, you all must steel your resolve and enter the mysterious depths that lie in the center of the camp! You have been given all of your supplies, and Lt. Lin leads you to the enterance.
"Don't forget to get some good intel, you hear! With any luck, you guys might even be able to establish a foothold to the core. That's where we theorize the main force behind these creatures lie." She says to you.
Lying before you in the entrance is a somewhat large tunnel, composed completely of various machinery. Only a faint, omninous glow illuminates the path before you. The shadows behind it are dense and thick. Mechanical creaking can be heard, but otherwise, the only noise is a slight chatter in the background as the rest of the camp reorganizes itself.

You continue through the omnimous cavern for a great length. the natural light from the sun eventually become inperseptable through the twists and turns of the corrider. the only sounds you hear are the strange mechanical sounds that reverberate through the narrow passage. You don't see anything yet, but you all stop when it sounds like something bigger moves in the distance.

I freeze in place when I hear the sound. Nervously, I do my best to cast a basic light spell in order to get a better look at the source of the noise.

He turns his arms into Katana's to be ready for anything, looking at where the sound came from, his eyes like those of the wolf making things a bit easier for him to see.

The light cast from Carolyn's light spell signifigantly increases visibility as the light reflects off of the metallic and mechanical walls. You all see a shadow dart up ahead, though it was too fast to make out any detail. The only thing that you could infer from this was that it was larger then a person.
