Smitty drew his gun and smirked. "We usually deal with a 6-foot-seven-inch Cajun gunslinger, a klutz who's a real Einstein and a guy who is pretty freakin' insane with a taste for Hawaiian Shirts. You REALLY think we're gonna be scared of that?" he asked.
"Now . . . we don't like them, you don't like the idiot in the Hawaiian shirt. We can kill each other after we eviscerate the little brat and his web-forming little girly." Smitty growled as Bozo got up. If he wasn't all that dumb, he would have looked like a grizzly bear.

Typhoid just glared at the gun in his hand. A large, overly amused smirk on her face. The next moment, the sleeve of Smitty's shirt caught fire, and some unseen force began pulling the gun out of his hands.
"Kill each other?" Typhoid purred as Sandman rose out of the pile of sand on the floor. Forming a very intimidatingly tall and bulky figure. "Oh, I don't think it's going to happen quite like that. Though you do have my interest as far as the two love birds go."

"What the FU-?!?" Smitty yelped as his sleeve caught fire and his main gun started getting pulled away, as if some unforeseen force wanted to ruin his day worse than it already did. He put the fire out and holstered the gun.
"Okay, so you want the kids out, we want the kids out, too. Let's work together and wipe 'em out. Trust me, we know how the punk in the Hawaiian shirt operates." Smitty explained. Fortunately he wasn't singed badly enough to not wave around.
"We could easily pool our resources and wipe 'em out. Our respective bosses give us our rewards and . . . maybe it'll be enough to get a bigger and better car." Smitty said, working his influences.

"Mmh-hm..." Typhoid mused, pressing both her swords into the ground, then leaning on them as if they were just supports. "Well...I doubt my boss would care one way or another what kind of reward is involved. You just lost one of the most high-tech hero cars he had to snoop in." she said, then paused a moment in thought. "Still...if you all know how to take care of Mister Lucky...we could certainly take car of the girl. Our boss wants the girl brought back alive. But I'm sure he won't care what happens to her boe as long as he gets a good spanking."

"Aww, that's nothin'. We coulda gotten six more like that if we looked in the right places, right Bozo?" Smitty looked over at the big guy, who started to shake his head when Smitty elbowed him, and he started nodding.
"Duhh, Right, Smitty! Six!" he said, holding up five fingers. Smitty facepalmed at that.
"Poor kid. Muddah tried t' get him through grade school. But anyways, we could possibly do somethin' with that. After all, he's not lucky, he's crazy. Bonafide nuts enough." he said, emphasizing his point by spinning a finger around his ear.
"Just gotta trap 'em 'til our bosses come t' pick 'em up! Now . . . you know the girl well. Where'd you think she'd go hidin'? If we can find her, then we can use her as a bargaining chip to get nutso to come quietly." he said.

"That one we're not sure about." Typhoid replied. "Her little costume hasn't been seen in this city for months. We just came across her recently. One of the bosses other girls found her and brought her in from the hospital. Then her little Romeo came in that Batcar. I'd guess she's been staying with Batman, but we can't figure out where that's at. Gotham somewhere. With her condition...I'd keep an eye on hospitals."

Smitty paused in thought. "In that case, let's get someone to keep an eye on the hospitals in town. In the mean time, the other group ca- BOZO!! What is that?!" he asked as he caught Bozo with something . . . was it? Oh it was nothing . . . it was a relic from Arell's home world . . . a Batman comic book.
Had they only realized the treasure trove of information they had, it could lead to a valuable clue for the wherabouts of Misty and C.J.!
"Duuuh, someone left it last time we bumped into Arell." Bozo said as Smitty took the comic from Bozo and flipped through it.
"Wait, you said we're in Gotham, right? As in BATMAN Gotham?" Smitty asked.
((Dun dun duuuuuuuuun))

Typhoid blinked and looked down at the little booklet that the man had. "What?" she asked.

((It's okay, hon.))
Smitty looked at the Comic book and up at Typhoid. "You'd better read this. Wouldn't have thought this was useful until now!" Smitty said, a look of insanity in his face. Of course . . . in dealing with C.J., what better way than to fight fire with fire?! THINK LIKE A CRAZY MAN! THAT'S IT!!! Who else would get advice on where to hide than in a comic book?
Meanwhile, in the car . . .
C.J. smiled as he held Misty in his arms, he wished that they could just stay like this forever. That they could enjoy the peace of mind without all the nutsy activities going on.

Typhoid looked at the comic book for a moment, then carefully walked over and took the book from the man's hands. She stared at the cover for a moment, then looked back at the two skeptically for a moment. With a small shrug, she turned around and headed for a crate to sit on while she flipped through the booklet. "Keep an eye on them." she said, motioning towards the two behind her.
Sandman grinned a bit and crossed his arms.

Uh . . . C.J.?
"Yes, Writer?"
I think you just won ten bucks.
"What the hell are you talking about?!"
Remember those two mafiosos and how you bet ten bucks that they'd team up with Psycho and the walking Sandcastle?!
"OOOoooooh sh*t!"
Yeah. We're screwed.
Smitty and Bozo looked at each other, then at the big guy, then back at each other. It was no surprise they were nervous. Godfather Razolli had gone back to New Orleans, no doubt upset at those idiots who couldn't even "catch a cold" as C.J. stated.

Misty just sat there, curled up against CJ, oblivious to any other kind of danger that might be brewing.
After a few moments of flipping through the book, Typhoid rolled the comic up and shoved it into one of her seaths. She grabbed both of her swords, holstered one of them, and left the other out. "Alright. Why don't we all head on back to my place and you two can have a little chat with the big man. See if we can get some of these names looked up. If we find anyone that's in this little book...you two just might be off the hook."

C.J. smiled. "Should be gettin' into the city as we speak. Wanna head back to the cave or over t' my place?" he asked with a smile, holding Misty close. Of course, if there was any danger, C.J. didn't seem like he was aware of it either.
Smitty nodded. "Not sure how dis woiks, bein' we're in Gotham an' all, but I got a feeling dose two are as good as in the bag if these are real." Smitty said with a nod. However, Bozo seemed to be petting something in his coat pocket . . .

Misty smiled a bit and turned her head to look up at him. "Well...I should head back to the cave and check on Alex. If she's even there still." she replied. "But your place sounds good as well."
Typhoid stopped and stood still for a moment. She put her finger up to her lip in thought, then grinned and turned around to look at the two men. "Actually...now that you bring that point up." she said, then headed towards the other end of the garage. She yanked a tarp off some boxes, revealing a rather nice looking Lincoln. "What you you say we go for a little ride downtown? I think I know someone we can talk to to get some answers from. It'd be better than waiting around for a computer to tell us if this guy exists or not."

C.J. smiled back. "We can check up on 'em from my place. Gotta warn ya though . . . it's great with wi-fi, but it's a biiiiiit of a mess. Three guys, one railroad car." he said, a little embarrassed. Of course, leave it to Arell, Dundee and him to make a rolling fraternity house on a circus tra- hey, I should talk to Mike, Kyle, Josh and Ace about that!
"*Ahem* D'ya mind, writer? They don't exist in this world . . ."
Oh yeah . . .
Meanwhile Smitty smirked. "Sure thing. Would help if we had some informants out on da streets." he said, his Brooklynite accent coming out.
