And I just took a shower he thought to himself as she pushed himself off of the stool and onto the floor, sticking his hands in his back pockets as he lazily walked out after Maya. Once outside he gave her a very disinterested look, one that screamed, "Are you sure about this?" While he wasn't any sort of master, the way he actually fought was so unorthodox, it would be hard to think he had been going through the Tai Chi forms and Capoeira sweep kicks only moments before as well as get out of the way. With a sigh, he pulled his left hand out of his pocket and let it dangle at his side as he lazily leaned forward. He whipped his head back in manner that made his dreads pull back in a "come and get me" sort of way. He looked bored, but that was all part of his battle psyche. Toy with the opponent, get them angry. Make them over exert themselves, and then take 'em down. "You wanna start or should I?"

Then as if suddenly realizing something, he held up his hand. He removed his shirt, leaving his bare chest. For a short little teen, he was nicely sculpted, a six pack with side cases to boot. His body was covered in various scars and markings he had obtained over the years. Most of them, the smaller ones, were burns and cuts he had obtained working on the different fishing and cargo boats at the docks. The rest where exactly what they looked like, a few knife wounds, here and there, stab wounds in the form of a circle from broken bottles, and even a a few braise wounds and a cute little gun shot wound just off from the the left of his abs. "I don't want the shirt to get dirty," he said, placing his right hand back in his pocket and falling back into his "stance."

(Well, now you get to know what it's like to fight me in RL... and why people call me crazy and insane.)

A low whistle was all Maya gave to show she was impressed. This kid had quite a collection. Probably bigger than her own. With a shrug, she tossed off her trench coat and tied her own dreads up in a ponytail. She breathed in deep and then out slowly, sliding into a wide legged stance. With closed eyes, Maya began to sway back and forth, slowly at first and then faster, ending with one leg raised and the other on tip-toe. Without warning, she fell over backwards and thudded heavily to the ground.

"Oof!"

In her mind, she was reviewing all the different fighting styles she could use to fight this kid, but since she didn't know what style he had, she just went with the one on the top of her head. With a grunt, she lifted herself sideways and the onto her feet. Her body moved back and forth, and her footing seemed quite unstable.

"Monkey steals the Master's wine!" she shouted and thrust an open hand at Tyson, smoothly gliding past him. When she pulled her hand back, it looked to be cupped around an invisible bottle of wine. She tipped her head back and shouted "Down the hatch!" and then proceeded to "chug" it.

"Tha's betta. Cawm own boah! Leza faht!" She jumped and spun in the air, sending a speeding kick at Tyson.

Tyson spun on his forward foot, just as Maya was beginning to gear up for the jump. No one ever jumped and punched. Ever. So, to say he didn't see the kick coming was to say wrong. Despite the fact that Maya was acting like a complete drunk, he knew the move was both controlled and powerful. He, however, allowed for her leg make contact with his pocketed arm, which swung in and lightly met his body. The force went from his arm into his body, dispelling it faster than had he just tensed up his arm. Then, as she was coming down, lifted his other foot to elbow the woman in her chest. Two steps, a block and an elbow, and since she was in the air, unless she had some god-like ability to change directions in the air, she was going to be pushed back by this.

s**t...This kid is fast! Maya swore in her head. She allowed herself to fall flat on her back, careful not to hit her head, and then staggered to her feet.

"Come on! Izzat all ya got?" She bobbed and weaved over to Tyson. As soon as she was in range, she did the exact same kick, but when it went over his head, she twisted her whole body in mid-air so she was upside down and started raining down punches at Tyson.

Tyson was, in all senses of the word, impressed by that, and honestly didn't see it coming, but Maya would only manage to land two decent face punches and one gracing blow before Tyson allowed himself to fall backwards onto his left arm. He would lift his leg up this time and would give her a nice kick to her tush. However, he had still taken to fists to the face. As soon as he tried to right himself, dizziness caught up to him and he felt forwards with the push from the kick. He managed to swing himself around his still planted arm and face Maya again. Looking down, he shook his shaggy head to get the punch drunkenness out of his system.

Omar stood by the door way of the back entrance and leaned against the wall with both of his arms crossed. He watched as the fight went on between the two random intoxicated people.

Relieved that she could at least hit the guy, she didn't let up. She switched to Southern Mantis style and continued on the offensive. Her style was all about using the most power with the least energy and causing the most damage possible, so she could outlast most other fighters. Unfortunately, this kid was quicker than the big burly guys she usually had to fight off, so she had a harder time hitting him. Maya poked, prodded, kicked and swiped like a machine. After a while, she became daunted and took a couple steps back.

"You're better than I would have thought. I think you pass my test, but you're welcome to continue our battle if you so wish."

Maya cracked her neck and shifted her shoulders around for a second. Capoeria, huh? I can do that. She waited for him to strike, if he was going to, and then she would see who was the better martial artist.

Maya was good, the most fun thing he had ever had the chance of bumping into. He ducked, dodged, weaved, even break-danced between her moves, finding it hard to put up a useful counter offensive, occasionally, throwing in left armed elbows, palms, and a few kicks here and there, however, when Maya took a step back, Tyson had to smile. He pulled out his hands and then sighed, both hands. No it was time to make her know why he considered himself insane. He made the first movements of ginga, the Capoeira constantly moving stance with which most were familiar with and then leaned to his right to plant his hand as he swept. The entire move itself was a complete and total feint.

After his right foot was a little off to his left, he planted it and used his planted right hand and leg to support himself as he palmed towards Maya leg. That's right, he was using a hand technique with Capoeira movements. Even if Maya backed away, his momentum would carry him into a quickly following kick with the left leg.

Where she to block that kick, he'd pop onto his right hand, use his left hand as counter support and then kick again with his right leg. The whole time, though, he faced her, never showing her his back.

Omar watched as Tyson demonstrated his own unique style of Capoeira, the way he fell into the movements was very different but Capoeira looks different on all Capoeiristas. "So he does the Afro-brazilian Martial art capoeira, used by African slaves during the colonial times in Brazil" Omar is very familiar with the art of capoeira and from what he could gather it looked like Tyson was transitioning from the Ginga into a 'mei Lua de compasso.' "Hmm" Omar said with slight interest.

(It's not a Meia lua in any way, shape or form(at least I don't think it is), but by the way I describe it, I can see why exactly you'd think that it was. The kicks are direct kicks, not sweeps. Check it {X} Meia Lua and almost all variations are sweeps as far as I'm aware. Not saying you don't know what your talking about, obviously you do. My wording probably just wasn't clear enough.)

"Holy F@#%!" Maya shouted as she backpedaled madly. The damn kid just went apeshit on her, but she was ready for a challenge. She grinned fiercely and stopped. Taking a deep breath, she charged directly at him, then took a flying leap which turned into a bunch of ninja handsprings. She landed on her feet and dropped to one knee, wiping the gravel out of the palms of her hands and spun around quickly. Maya took half a second to relax, then started dancing around, the "stance" of Capoeria. When they met in the center of the parking lot, it was clear that Tyson was more technically precise, but Maya was able to put unique spins on moves using a bit of Zhuo Quan training to keep her seemingly off balance, and therefore on equal footing with her opponent.

"s**t, kid, you're a machine!" she shouted at him after sparring for a few minutes.

(Lots of breaker terms coming your way)

Tyson was having fun with this. Where he not mute, he would have shouted back. Instead he forced her to retreat with a quick, but obvious knee height sweep and instantly went into a break dancing windmill, rose into a stall where his elbow supported his entire body, hoping as he spun in place. From there he stopped his hand hoping and pushed himself into a hand stand an impressive 2000 into 1990. Lowering his hand back down he began air flaring. Then with a single kick, he did a aerial master flip, landing perfectly on one foot in a running motion. Then, in a very break dancer style, he jumped back, facing Maya and pointed to her. While normally, this would be a diss in a dance battle, this was completely to be funny.

Maya knew when she was beat. However, she also wasn't going to let him think he was just gonna win like that. She started doing some fake karate moves and yelling. Then without warning, she kicked her jacket into the air. When it hit the ground, Maya was looking cold at Tyson, a crossbow loaded in her hands and pointed at his chest. She stood there for a moment, looking very intense, and then started laughing really loud. She tossed the gun onto her jacket with a smile and said "You win."

Tyson glanced down, wide-eyed and bewildered. Where in the seven rings of of unholy Twilight fangirl heaven(which would be hell in Tyson's case) did she get that? He wondered, realizing that, had this been anything but a spar, he'd be dead. Dead or bleeding to death with a freaking arrow in his chest. And the last thing he would ever what is an arrow wound. Those don't heal like bullet wounds, at least, that's what he had read somewhere. As the woman backed away, Tyson relaxed. Then, his face seemed to harbor and incredibly unimpressed look, as if bored or disappointed. Well damn, he sighed, his face totally unchanging. I would have so been shish ka-S-C-R-E-W-E-D!

Marcus ran out of the condo, behind Rook and Kat.
"Wait! Wait, wait! I think I'm gunna have to see these folks meself." ((Sue me. I decided to give him a southern accent)), he shouted, running up to the SUV and climbing in, "Alright, son. Lead on. I just wanted a chance to sit 'n talk with them before I make my decision."
