XcoldhandsX That sucks. Maybe there'll still be some way to get them. Oh and another quick question, can we just assume the axe came with a sling so I can carry it around on my back instead of having to hold it? Yes, yes, all weapons come with sheaths/slings/holsters etc. lol razz Also, yes, we're going with the video-game style of all armor being one-size fits all lol. Dwarf equips something = same as an orc equipping it. IT'S MAGIC! I'm not that a**l about the tiny details.

MULTIPLE UPDATES WAKKA WAK-- Ahem..
1: Weather is now being implemented, it will change with the passage of time. Obviously, it's effects will cease upon entering a sheltered area or otherwise underground or outside of its area of effect. Please refer to the first page of the OOC Thread for Weather Details.
2: I have found a site that houses ALL the old images that I have referenced and so image linking is back on track. Wootness.
3: I have cookies. End.

Just a heads up, these next few weeks are going to kill me.
Today begins a series of journeys.
2 Conferences back to back, followed by a weekend long wedding, followed by a week of hard work, followed by a weekend of actually proposing to my girlfriend, followed by another week of insane work, followed by preparation for exams, followed by a week of moving out and heading back home.
My time on Gaia *may* be limited during this time period.

New Feature I am considering during this hiatus: Leadership Bonuses Depending on who the current group leader is, different bonuses would be active dependent upon their class which would be provided to the rest of the party as well as themselves as long as they are conscious. Fighter (or any subclass) - Increased Physical Damage Ranger - Increased Accuracy Paladin (or any subclass) - Increased Defense Cleric - Minor Health Regeneration Druid - Increased Movement Speed, Decreased Travel Time Wizard - Increased Chance of finding Magical Items Thief (or any subclass)- Increased Gold Drops from enemies Monk - Increased Experience gained from enemies Thoughts, comments?

An interesting feature as long as there was someway to ensure we did not change leaders partway through an encounter unless there is sufficient story reasons....

Right, I wouldn't allow leaders to change mid-combat. It would have to be determined before each rest period is finished. Or before traveling.

It would also be prudent to figure out who takes comand if the current leader gets knocked out. I'm sure everyone wants to be the leader for the day so I suggest a rotational system to keep everyone happy.
However Erron seems to have a nack for leading so hes also a good choose, both due to personalilty and the awesomeness of earning extra EXP.

I agree with purest. But Tjaden would have to take over at some point. He's got some big leadership characteristics. Even if he only raises defense. smile

Indeed, the torch would be passed as needed. I think the idea is that the party would defer leadership to the person who can best handle the situation. So, for instance, when dealing with religious organizations, for example, Tjaden would definitely be the leader. However, in our current situation, surrounded by a village of squirrels, Laren would be in charge. Likewise, if our party gets in over their heads with the local theives guild, all eyes would turn to Kal to direct the situation.

Theives + Leadership seems like Peanut-Butter and carpet XD logically at least, though it makes sense that in situations where a fighter doesn't understand the subtleties of dealing with church figures, a cleric would take over, vice versa (except Clerics could technically handle just about everything on account of being awesome on the weapon, magic and healing fronts, moot point as we lack a cleric though)

I disagrree. Thieves in fantasy worlds arent just street urchins with sticky fingers, at least the PC versions aren't. They are very technical, quick witted and good problem solvers. I see the rogue class as more of a strategist than purely someone who unlocks doors and steals stuff. As such, it follows that in situations were one must work with limited materials for maximum gain (escaping a prison perhaps) or in which intrigue and deceit are rampant (backdoor dealings with immoral high status officals), or even in a situation among other rogues who could possibly mislead and swindle the party (going into a thieves guild to retrieve information), the Rogue is the go-to person for leadership in this area as it is upon their suggestion that the rest of the party would act. The monk is above such dealing, the Paladin and fighter are too blunt, the mage is unconcerned with such basic material matters and the druid/ranger couldn't care less about people.
