Tomoro forced yet another smile, and pushed her knees closer to her chest, crunching up into a small ball against the cold bark of the tree. After pondering the thought of helping the girl called Courtney, Tomoro's eyes furrowed. When did she become so friendly? She wasn't friendly. NOT AT ALL. Yet here she was, chatting with two strangers completely. Pathetic. She needed some time alone to realize the direction she was going.
They were going to hurt her anyway.
"..I'm not going to help you, but you might want to look... for a pale young man with a silver cane. He may know where she is." Turning her head away from both of them, her eyepatch was now concealed by all of her hair, and she grimaced to herself; she was going crazy. That was it.
They both seemed so friendly... so why was she pushing herself away from them? Was it that she was afraid of being hurt? Or that she didn't need any more friends? Tomoro secretly wished that she was a bit more outgoing... and nice. It wasn't her fault her father had abused her mentally. Shaking the thoughts from her head, Tomoro took a deep breath, and focused her gaze at the ground, away from Cal and Courtney altogether.

As if summoned by Tomoro's thoughts of wanting to become more friendly, Hikaru came skating up to the dining hall, humming cheerfully to herself as she did. She made a few impressive looking short turns on her way there - she'd been getting a lot better at controlling her trajectory ever since she started her training last week. Noticing Tomoro slumped up against a tree, she skidded to a stop in front of her.
"Hey, Tomoro! What's wrong?" she said, kneeling down in front of her. She stuck her arms out to the sides a little to stop herself from toppling over as she rolled in place.

Tomoro popped up almost instantly, both startled and even a bit... disgusted. WHAT IS HIKARU DOING HERE!? She always... materializes out of nowhere... freaky. It wasn't that she didn't want to talk to Hikaru... it was more of that she didn't want to be in the presence of such a friendly person. She was a bit... jealous that someone could be that happy all the time. "Hi... Hikaru. Nothing's wrong... I'm just a bit..." Tomoro glanced over at Cal for a moment before switching her gaze back to the ground. "...dizzy. Yeah."
Propping herself up against the tree the, she leaned against the trunk, her lolita dress folding in so many places it would be impossible to sketch. Her eyes still had a dull look to them; it was as if she were drugged, when in fact the aura of a person who controlled fire was around her. She couldn't take it. In fact, Tomoro was on her last wits end before she would start coughing uncontrollably; it was THAT bad.

"Dizzy?" Hiko asked, looking a little confused. She glanced around her, wondering if it was a little too hot outside and she just hadn't noticed. No, that couldn't be it - she'd been exercising almost all afternoon and she was just fine. Maybe Tomoro just needed something to eat, or to relax a little bit.
"Have you eaten yet today? I was just about to wrap up training and go order a pizza or some Chinese takeout or something..." She held out a hand for Tomoro, offering to help her up if she wanted. "You wanna come with me, maybe?"

Tomoro let out a small sigh, and stared at the ground; to tell the truth, Hikaru just wasn't the sort of person she needed right now to comfort her; it would only make her feel worse about herself. Not that she didn't like Hikaru.
She was a wonderful friend, and a wonderful person.
But that was also... her flaw. Tomoro didn't have that, and she envied that. She had always wanted to be the one who could reach out and say 'Wanna be friends?' But... she couldn't. Ever.
"You wanna come with me, maybe?"
Those words made Tomoro freeze, for some reason. She could go with Hikaru... and that would probably be the best choice... but she wanted to be alone. Perhaps if she rejected Hikaru for the moment, she could let her go, and then a bit later run off away from Cal and Courtney. Yes. That was it. Moving her gaze up to Hikaru, Tomoro smiled very, very lightly. "Not... right now. Perhaps later, okay? I'm not really feeling myself. Could we get together... a bit later?"
Hopefully Tomoro would feel better later, and could strut around with Hikaru, having some fun.

Naka was out for a ride when he spotted Hiko zoom into the dining hall so he figured he would say hello. he skidded to a stop outside and entered the hall and headed straight for the lunch line. after receiving his meal he strode over to where hiko and some others were grouped and said: "Sorry to interrupt but hey hiko. I've not seen you in a while from being so wrapped up with classes to see anyone." his stomach grumbled. "hehe or eat for that matter" he smiled as he said this and pushed his hair to the side. "and who are these fine people?" he asked.

Hiko smiled back at Tomoro, nodding her head in understanding and not even missing a beat. Rising slowly to her feet, she rolled backward on her rollerblades, back toward the direction she'd come from.
"Okay! Maybe I'll go grab a nap or something, and we can get together later," she said, shifting her weight from side to side and making little half-circles in place. "I left a note on your dorm room door, so you should be able to find my room if you want to hang out later. We can order a pizza, watch some movies... it'll be lots of fun!" 3nodding
She held her arms out wide at this, very nearly colliding with Naka as he walked over to the group. Blushing a little at not having noticed him before this, she nodded her head slightly by way of apology and smiled.
"Oh, hey Naka! I was just about to head off, actually, but this is my friend Tomoro," she gestured over to where Tomoro was sitting, under the tree. "And these... are some people I don't know!" sweatdrop

Naka, also shook up by the near crash noticed the friend to which hiko ponted. Tomoro was a loaner type, Naka could tell. he meekly truged over to the tree and waved a casual hello in a non typical manner. he sat a few yards away from tomoro hopefully she'll feel more comfortable this way he thought to himself. he sat and ate his sustanence, half expecting some sort of agknoledgement from tomoro, but without particularly high hopes as not to appear too 'friendly' to her.

Hiko nodded at Naka and Tomoro before speeding off from the dining hall. As she skated, she turned slightly to wave behind her, smiling at the both of them and calling out toward Tomoro.
"I'll see you later, 'kay?"
Turning back to face front, she pushed off again and headed off toward the dormitories. One good turn deserved another - a successful day of training had earned her a little nap.

((Mi-Mi... for some reason I cracked up when I saw the 'THESE ARE PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW!' xDDD))
Tomoro didn't really say hello to the man called Naka, she merely raised her eyebrows in both acknowledgement and suspicion. What was with people these days, always acting all friendly...? And 'Naka?' She had heard that word in Japanese before, it meant 'inside.' Who the heck would name her kid Naka? She didn't mean to be rude or stuck up... that was just how she was. Tomoro did gain a bit of suspicion, however, when Naka sat a few yards away and seemed to be looking at her.
Tomoro smiled at Hikaru, and raised her hand up, not saying anything in particular. That gesture was enough. Tomoro watched Hikaru speed off toward the dormatories, and sighed lightly; she sure needed to head back to her dorm; she was dirty, and needed a new change of clothes... maybe she would head to the mall later for some new clothes.
Her pale hair contrasting with her dark clothing, the light of the sun seemed to illuminate it even more. Tomoro stood up silently, brushing the dust off of her dress as a small breeze came up and raised it a bit, the folds and pleats disappearing as the wind grazed her face.
It was time to leave. Taking a small hesitant step, Tomoro then picked up speed, heading nowhere in particular; if anyone wanted to know anything about her, they'd have to follow her.

Naka continued to consume his sustanence when suddenly tomoro charged off away from the hall in such a way that enticed a chase. he could see it within his sight that this is what was expected. Naka scarfed the food down, picked up his board and skated off, droppin off his tray as he left. "this should be interesting" he thought to himself.

Tomoro sensed that someone was coming up behind her.. .and it wasn't Cal nor Courtney. It seemed to be that other guy she didn't even know. What did he want? What COULD he want? Tomoro had always given off that unfriendly vibe, and thought she was doing a pretty good job right now of putting that up; maybe it had been broken! Yes, that was it... Hikaru must have shattered her 'stay away from me' vibe temporarily. If that was the case, she needed to get it up as fast as possible.
Smirking lightly to herself, Tomoro made a realization; if the man called Naka wanted to follow her, he'd have to track her down. Tomoro took a deep breath, and then quickened her pace, first starting out as a jog, then a dash, then a sprint, then a full-fledged run. She looked like a rocket, darting from place to place, over trees and little walls set up for decoration. This was all to buy time, however... she was secretly coming up witha plan to get rid of Naka. Smiling to herself, Tomoro jumped up into a tree, and bounced from branch to branch, using her manipulation to allow the branches within her jumping reach.
She'd head to the Crystal Lake. That was it.
((Heading to the Crystal lake, off campus. Your post first. xD))

"oh you sly little..." Naka said playfully as he continued the chase. using his magical sight, he spotted every one of tomoro's movements throught the trees. "you gotta try harder than that to detter me" he said loud enough for tomoro to hear. stopped and mentally followed her trajectory. "ahh the lake, a fine choice." he said as he took off with board in hand. ((exits to crystal lake, off campus.))

It was when the new person came, after Courtney, that he began to feel a little drowsy. All that running and little Joy almost killing me... Then my lack of rest... How did I manage to stay up this long? He was barely able to keep his eyelids open at this point. And when a secodn eprson came, he barely noticed it, for it was a weak person. He only thought that, because he could feel the person letting their power loose unconciously, and not surpressing them. Not caring, he began to inscribe a small rune into the tree usign his heated finger. He closed his eyes, making it easier to envision the inscription. Once done, he felt Tomoro leave his side, while the other two went their own ways. Then, when he felt a lack of strong people around him, he fell asleep, his own capping of pwoers released. A higher heat wave of about 120oF left his body as he snored to sleep. Thankfully, the rune he scratched into the bark, pwoered by a little of his own energy, prevented all forms of combustion within a 10 foot radius of the rune. Therefore, everythign was safe from hsi own body heat.

The sun glimmered oddly for a split-second. No one would ahev noticed it, not even a normal fire user could sense it. However... the only mortal who dared call himself the Crimson Sun would notice it, even in his deep slumber. He slowly half-opened his eyes, looking at the sun. It no longer shadowed the leaves. Tomo? In trouble? Why do I have to be the hero?... He sighed at the futility of his questions, as he disppeared in a flash of flames.
