Nanina shook her head and laughed as she raced over the clearing. Bessie stopped abruptly beside Chris and she patted the horses neck. She wasn't last.

(Whoops! Thanks for clarifying that for me. [:
btw, how long does labor last with horses? I might just make the foal be born pretty soon, but I dunno.)
"Hey, thats actually a really good idea, Nanina." He gave her a devious smirk, one that lasted for more than a split second. Once he saw that Chris and Nanina had already arrived at the river, he signaled Lady back into a canter towards the others. Summer and himself were the 'finalists' and although usually it didn't seem like it, he didn't want to go streaking. Besides, he didn't want to lose, either.
"C'mon, Lady bay-bee" He muttered softly to his horse.
Kahlilia breathed a sigh of relief. "I can only imagine how happy Kelly will be when her baby is born." Her voice was very soft, but instead of sounding frightened it had an airy and motherly tone. She smiled back at Roman as the delivery still progressed.
She was still watching like a hawk for any sort of troubles, and so was still tortured by twinges of worry, but she was happy, and excited for the soon-to-be-mother.

Summer glanced ahead of her and noticed both Chris and Nanina at the river she then saw that she was in last place and wondered how that had happend. She pushed Shadow making her horse use the last bit of her speed but couldn't catch up with X. "Well looks like i'm the one who had to go streaking."

" Honestly, I have no clue. I suppose we are going slow?" Emily questioned with a small smile.
She couldn't help it with the feelings that welled up inside of her body. Heck they already consumed her and shedidn't care. But his question still did remain, since that small kiss did change thier friendship into one of love.

((Anywhere from a few hours to a few days. Though Ranchers usually don't let it last days. They will take charge and pull that pup out! Er. . . Philly. Unless it is a boy horse being born, then it is a Colt.))
Nanina beamed at Summer and tugged on her own collar. Strip, lover! She wasn't sure if the girl would actually do it or not, but just teasing was fun.
Keith nodded and rested one hand on her waist. Slow is good. He agreed. There where many things he wanted to know about this beautiful creature standing before him, but he wasnt sure where to begin asking.

Emily merely sighed and looked to where the group had gone. She wondered what they were up to. But she was torn between going to see what the group was doing and staying with Keith and getting to know him better.
" Do you want to see what they are up to?" Emily asked gesturing to where the group had gone with the horses.

" Yes we should" Emily replied reluctantly letting his hand go and headed for the ranch.
She needed to get her head clear of the dizziness she was feeling just by being around him. He made her feel drunk with love which in her moms opinion was very good since she had said that love was going to feel like that. Emily could see the stables and smiled.

Nanina let out a wolf whistle and then adverted her eyes.
Keith followed behind Emily, giving her a liitle bit of space since she seemed to be in thought. Finding B waiting for them at the pasture gates, Keith led the horse out the gate and swung onto his bareback. Holding out a hand for Emily, he scooted back a bit to make room for Emily.

She then striped completely then ran into the river and then swam to the other side. "Well there I went striking," she called still in the water.

Roman smiled. "I would be, if I were her," he replied plainly, watching the contractions. "That looks like it hurts." He tilted his head. At the angle he was standing at, it was hard to see the horse's colour or markings through the sac. "What's it look like? Can you see from there?"

Summer jumped out of the water and put her clothes on quickly she then jumped on her horse and galloped a little ways away from the river her face sorta red thinking to herself, I can't believe I just did that.

Xavier had wolf-whistled at Summer as she took off her clothes, but otherwise just watched her with increasing interest - Lady was simply grazing. Xavier didn't want to really do anything inappropriate right now, given that her brother Chris was nearby and he didn't feel like making him angry. As she jumped out and galloped away on her horse, he signaled Lady to follow her, but also kept a distance away. Lady returned to her grazing and Xavier looked over at Chris and Nanina.
"Yeah, I think it sort of would." She giggled a little. It was always wierd, even in her years, to compare the anatomies of males and females. Males, in the minds of many females, had the priviledge of never having to experience labor - or menunstration, on that thought.
"Yes," She said. "All I can say is it'll be really soon."
And sure enough, out came a teeny little foal, looking mainly like its mother, but also widely resembling Phoenix.
"Well, now we know who the father is." Kahlilia said quietly, beaming at Roman. The simple witnessing of a birth was so magical to her, and what seemed like an impossibly beautiful miracle. Her face glowed and her eyes glittered, and Kelly looked relieved and motherly as she watched her newborn.
