my parentts hate LP because they think that it is making me feel depressed.

I heard from a friend that another of my friend's reckons I'm depressed rolleyes Nothing to do with LP as far as I know.. who knows. She's a lame head mrgreen

My parents aren't big on LP, but my mum bought me Reanimation on Wednesday [ mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen ]
It was so funny.. we jumped in the car, and mum was like, "hey, you wanna put on your new CD?"
And I was like "..Um.. I don't think you'll like it whee "
And she goes, "Nah, you can put it on!"
So I put it on [didn't want her think I was hiding it coz it's some terrible music I shouldn't be listening to]
It was so funny.. she kept giving me funny looks..
We stopped at the supermarket on the way home.. bought the groceries.. We went back to the car and mum made me take the trolley back.. when I got back to the car, Reanimation was out of the CD Player for some reason xp

My mom isn't used to LP, but my dad listens to them occasionally.

My aunt actually doesn't mind LP, since she has a spare copy of Meteora that I gave to her.

if they cant handle linkin park they'll be in for a shock if they listened to heavy metal bands or death metal bands....there full of swearing they would love linkin park if it meant not hearing metal music

My parents hate LP, because a couple years ago we were watching the news and this story came on about this kid taking a gun to school and killing himself. Well, the parents read off
"Everything you say to me
Takes me one step closer to the edge
And I'm about to break" and they said that Linkin Park was the reason their son killed himself!!! But, I had gotten Linkin Park's cd a couple days before that and my dad said that he was going to break it... I hid it and he never found it!!! I still have it!

I think my parents are starting to think that when I play Numb, or runaway or anything like that, that I'm trying to tell them something, which might actually be true *shifty eyes* ninja (it happens with pretty much every single song including One Step Closer, but yeah...I don't feel like listing them all...)

But, other than that, my parental units don't bother me about it...except for when I blast it off the computer, and then they say, "Either turn it off or mix it with their music too...

That has to suck, just make sure that you keep that CD hidden as best as you can...

I don't know what it is with parents thinking that bands cause distruction with their kids. My parents used to think that LP was really bad but then i made them sit down and listen to the music. Now they don't think its so bad. I think half the time parents just think anything teir kids listen to is crap just because its not the same thing that they listen to. They need to realize that we all have our own choices in music and everything else we do!
